What's the "secret door entrance?" I don't think dharok has changed, his attacks are all up to luck, he could 30 0's in a row then whack a 59 before he dies, NEVER fight him without prayer, NEVER lag whilst fighting him!!!!

Because a lot of people use prayer when doing pest control, it doesn't exactly get wasted, so why not? Having the two highest attack and strength prayers on all round REALLY helps get the game over with really quick. I go all attack/strength in pest control, I don't even worry about defence since you just respawn if you die anyways. It really is the best strategy for melee. Yup, that's how I hit my lovely 30's, bax spec, attack pot, ultimate str and att prayers, not sure what they're called. Love em to death though!!

Umm, yes I think there have been a few updates that have made herblore easier to level, the miscelania rewards being the main one, there's also the herb packs you get from pest control. I don't higher levels train with prayer pots, there are a few easier and faster ways to train herblore. But still the POH will be useful for collecting snape grass. The bank in burthorpe has nothing to do with making herblore easier, it just makes that quest faster if you have access. A lot of people simply farm their herbs as it is very profitable and reasonablr farming and herblore xp, I started it months ago but got lazy and left my last herbs all alone, would be cool have they haven't caught a disease!!

Haxx! you can only have 2.1b cash.... :^o I believe it's 2.3b cash, not sure though, and the only way for someone to make 500mil in 2-3 hrs is to sell a few phats without rebuying, which isn't really a profit. I don't think Duke Freedom even had 14bil worth of items when he was banned and he IS the no.1 merchant of all time.

It wouldn't be a waste of time because the time you spend writing it is less then the summed up time of MANY people reading it ;) And about your ideas I can honestly tell you I have done all of them except for the hiscores one which I find boring. A sequal to desert treasure would be bloody awesome!!! Near impossible though, I think there should be a quest with a level 1000 to kill as the boss, maybe a tzhaar quest with that, force you to use prayer pots. I haven't done many of the dwarf quests, so I don't know about them, but a sequal to roving elves with the crystal halberd has massive potential!! I wonder what the 200th quest will be, sequal to recipe for disaster maybe?

First of all, blue phats are now 300m, have a look on official forums. And 2.1 doesn't mean you can't macro, it just has better ways of detecting macroers, but there are so many different macros out there that it's pretty much useless anyway. And so if ess went bank to normal, people would still be able to macro it, just with a slightly higher risk of being caught. So that's why it had to be split, and I'm not complaining about it.

You can turn them off you know, I did that with high detail to avoid major lag and listen to music with winamp. I do that, either way it still causes lag when I turn sound off. Then maybe it's not the sound causing the lag... I haven't played since the sounds came out (playing for the first time in 5 weeks tomorrow, yipppeee!!! But my bro doesn't lag on low detail, are you on dial up or something? On topic: sounds like I should learn the speel sounds before going pking!!

Torag has always been terrible, most people kill him without prayer as chances are the sharks used will cost less. I explained what I thought of the prayer thing a few posts up

Just a faulty filter, it got worse with the new engine, but they've been working hard on improving it, not sure how much they've changed up to now.

How about all the awesome minigames, armours, spells, extensions of f2p skills, the fact that it's only $5 a month, better account security, BARROWS, less noobs, easier money making, forums, the list is god dam endless man, keep thinking, have a look at the knowledge base, everything is on there!! Parents...I had to go behind the backs of my parents to get membership, my dad promised it for Christmas, I spent 2 weeks cutting willows getting ready to get 50 fletching in 1 day, then he said "no," so like 2 months later I just got my card out and did it myself!! They didn't even punish me when they found out lol.

I would say you're a hipocrate for uselessy posting about useless posts, then I realised you had a story, so I won't say it. I'm trying to think of a good story to tell here, umm, I like barrows, and I have a few of them, so here's one: One day, a long time ago, no I won't write like that te whole time. I was busy doing my beloved barrows trips when my friends PM's me asking me to go and own CW with our ice bursts and my new ahrims. I said to him, OK, give me half an hour to use up my supplies. I hadn't had an item for about 18 trips with a kc of 30 in each, so I was expecting one soon, I thought I probably had enough stuff for 2 and a bit more trips. So I get started on my first trip, everything goes fine until I get to Guthan and he heals 20+ twice in a row, so I got annoyed and said to my friend that I would come after this trip. Other than that it was actually a good trip, only used one shark getting my kc up. Then I managed to get my puzzle wrong, the most annoying thing that can happen at barrows!!! But I eventually get to the chest after taking about 15 extra damage, I open the chest and my eyes pop out :shock: that's not normal, 160 bolt racks, never heard of anyone getting more than 133, oh well, then it hits me again :shock: My first double item :!: :!: I decided to teleport right there, I had verac's helm and flail in my inventory. I told my friend and he said, "**** ahrims get the rest of veracs!!" Lucky me got to keep my ahrims and still buy the veracs. We played about 3 games of CW before I got bored of owning all his friends that he brought along just for me to own :roll: such noobs they were level 34 with nothing on high scores says "hahaha, noob level 99 doing a lvl 85's dirty work," that was the worst I got, but still. After a short break, I went back to barrows for my last 2 trips before having to buy more supplies (only managed 2 thanks to nature alter :D First trip as expected, just had double item, not expecting anything, second trip went normal until I used 2 sharks before getting to the chest (none left now) and I only had 1 dose of prayer left to kill Karil, so I decided that I would where my melee armour and half kill him, then pot and switch to slayer dart, to my surprise it worked quite well, only used 12 prayer points. I open the chest ready to teleport, and again I got another 160 bolts, and then it hits me again :shock: another veracs helm!!!! I made 7mil worth of stuff in 3 trips, that was possibly the best day I've ever had in RS. Hope you all enjoyed that.

I get my Kill count up on bloodworms everytime so i don't use any food on them. I also usually have a whip anyway, but i sold mine to buy full veracs 3 days ago. I can now afford to buy one back, but i have just never goten around to it. I will take your advice on the boots and gloves though. And i'll probably leave the shield at home. That will save me 2 spots where i can add in another 2 p pots and allow me ot get 1-2 more runs in. I've been thinking about bringing my verac's instead of mystic. I could then leave my melee gear in the bank. Maybe the Range gear also, i don't know how good verac's will do against ahrim though. I might start some experimenting and see how i can increase the amount of chests I open each run. Maybe the barrows king leesters will drop by this post and give me some more tips. I ahve heard storys of people opening 10 chests per bank trip, but of course there probably higher than lvl 96. Thanks for the tips they are appreciated. No problem, and if you're only 96 combat, then using veracs is out of the question, I tried it for a few trips (combt 100 at the time) and I used more prayer pots then ever before, I was also using super attack pots and d bax spec, it was really slow too, it's a method recommended for only level 110+ so we don't qualify yet :( The only way I know of to open 10 chests per run is to not get your kill count up and having 75+ prayer with super restores. When I don't get my kill count up, I can do about 7-8 chests before banking, also if you bank, you don't want to have noted stuff, I just use the burgh de rott bank, quest wasn't that hard. Doing this actually really worthwhile, you get items more often because you're opening more chests per hour, so you make a lot more money than when you get your kc up, but you usually need a lot of supplies to start with. Using blood blitz is also quite good as you don't need any food, but it takes a lot of inventory space, I haven't tried it, and I don't think I really want to, really expensive. And I just noticed your unholy symbol, it's not really worth taking, glory is better for your level. Add me ingame if you want, RSN bflinty1, I'll be on tomorrow.

jagex NEVER admitted to karils hitting harder. they always said we just had random luck or unluck and I believe they could actually be right. you enevr know though. Actually it was an official update posted on the home page of http://www.runescape.com along with the other updates happening at the time. I think I understand what you're saying, I do remember having time between the time that your prayer said "0" and your prayer actually turning off, although I think that random and it just let you get hit once after your prayer turned off, so if you get hit a split second after it turned off, you won't notice what happened, it could have changed though I guess, but I know that's how it worked before.

You're obviously no noob, but I have a few comments you might want to think about: You don't want to be taking 2 pairs of gloves and as slayer dart is only slightly affected by you mage bonus, I suggest wearing your vambraces and leaving your mystic gloves behind. And wear rune boots for the same reason instead of mystic boots. Ring of wealth does hurt!!! Take a ring of life, saved me a couple of times. Especially if you're going to use infinity. You don't need to take 2 things for your shield spot, either zammy book or shield, up to you. And of course with 2 chain drops, you can obviously afford some barrows armour for yourself, there's a reason people pay a lot of money for it, it's worth it. Also, I'm not sure, but if you're using a d scimmy to get your kc up, you'll save at least 1 shark per trip by using a whip, meaning you can swap a shark for a prayer pot and kill a few more brothers. Otherwise you're good to go \

No your just jealous because you don't have millions. Merchanting is a skill. People who think they are going to merchant and mr than most people think (merchanting millionake big money from guides are kidding themselves. Merchanting is alot hardes worth of items). So it all comes down to practice, and a fair bit of brains. There are so many wanna-bee merchants out there now its pathetic. :roll: In English please, I think you've pushed the insert button, press it again. On topic, as everyone has said, merchanting is basically buying low, sellin high, no guides tell you anything but the simple methods, to really make money you need to teach yourself, and that takes ages, I don't think it's worth, mainly because merchanting doesn't go on the high scores and it takes longer than any other skill to become good at.

I don't know what "parenthasies" means, but I think I understand, because that's what I did, thought it was normal rune, then... =P~
