Waterfall fire giants aren't a total waste, laods of people do it, it annoys the hell out of me because it's hard to get a fight, but they get good xp. I think dagganoths is the best place for xp and chaos elemental for drops, but that's really dangerous!!

I was on official forums this morning and it seems like santas are already on their way back up, people are taking a rest from construction and want their rares back. Phats have gone through the roof with blues going for almost 300mil. Masks are going back up too, almost back to what they were. I can assume this will mean that all prices start to rise very soon if they haven't already done so. Construction isn't a temporary money drain, it's just that once the fad is over it won't drain enough money to keep the economy steady, so we will probably expect to see more money drains in the future. However, they don't seem to have affected phats, so I think people with phats are going to continue getting richer and richer whilst everyone else will go back and forth a lot.

Just get a few people to go and click repair on the armour stand and work out the percentage you save with this formula: Price at armour stand Normal price(which it tells you) x 100 Easy, then you know the percentage you save at your smithing level. Easy.

Didn't read it all, but I get the jist of it. This won't happen as the wilderness is meant to be dangerous!! If you can't attack a different player type or something it would take away half the point of the wilderness, the Abyys is meant to be dangerous because it's good, so is mage arena and clue spots, it's all part of it.

I think when you look up a persons high scores it should just have their QP and CB lvl, they can't really be ranked as there will be 1000's of people with every number of QP. Also a link from each persons high scores to the exact quests that have completed. Also something like the number of months people have been members for, that would be cool. There are a lot of things you could do.

Yes I think you could do it with those amounts. i think you could do it with as little as 1k bolts but better safe than sorry I Suppose. Thanks a lot man, great guide, had to say it again :) I don't think crystal and 1k bolts would quite cut it, I'll probably take 1700-2000 just incase. I'm going to be getting 72, maybe 76 prayer before doing it anyway, so it shouldn't be too hard if I just swap a super restore for a range pot.

You might want to take into account people buying runes from shops, that probably drains about 100-200bil since your last "guesstimate" :lol: Also I think you really overguesstimated (what a word!) the amount brought in from alching steel plates, there aren't that many people that really do it. Other than that seems like you've worked really hard on this!! Maybe a guesstimate of total numbers of rares in the game? You're the master Duke!!

I think it's only you that feels this way. If they did a reset, a lot more would be lost than would gained. 100's of 1000's of people would be losing millions of xp and cash, there would be a hell of a lot more complaints if they did a rollback than if they didn't, only a few people (maybe 200max) were a affected, a rollback would affect about 2-4million people, is that really fair?

Even so, if you half kill 1 on your way in and someone kills it once you've exited the tunnel, you get the kill count because you've started a new trip and you get the kill over the other guy. It happened to me a few times before, so I investigated it and if you kill something whilst leaving, after looting, you don't get the kill (USE GUTHANS if you want to investigate that!!). Not a glitch, been around forever.

A lot of people seem to merchant rune ores and bars, although I've heards it can be VERY hard to get a buyer. I don't merchant much, but what I usually do is buy chaos and deaths at the shop and sell to tzaar rune shop until I have 300k tokkul (needs about 33k chaos), then buy an obby gem and get someone to craft it for you, many tip.iters will do it for free :D then sell the fury for 4.5-5m, you can make about 1-1.5m profit each time, takes about 5-6hrs total though. Good luck.

maby so but alot of people dont know that. Any evidence to support that claim? Btw I doubt the Durial incident effected rare prices at all. The green wasn't actually removed from the game, as Durial321 said in his interview, he gave it to his friend before being disconnected, but never managed to offload anything else. So that green is still in the market. On topic, the main reason is that people have now stopped powertraining construction as a few people have already got 99, so they are using cheeper methods and are able to buy their rares back, so many people did this that prices are now going up again, santas are now selling at 11m, low of 10m since construction, they were 12.5-13m before construction came out.

Unlucky mate, keep going. If you aren't already, try using one of the guides that's on these forums, they ARE good. I'm only 72 range, so when I get to Jad I'll probably take about 15mins to kill him, I'm bound to mess up a few times. :(

Level 78 is fine, I think I was 84 or something, as long as you have a member friend, it's really easy to get started.

A few days ago they said one of the payment options was down, maybe they had to remove all options to make this update/maintenance work, I wouldn't worry too much, unless it isn't fixed in the next week or so. Edit:200th post for me, woot!

I agree, there shouldn't be anything to stop people becoming members, but it gets really annoying when people become members when they don't have a clue what they're doing. But waves of noobs can be expected with all big updates like construction, live with it.
