MVP Baseball 04 online..
ya they do. if you check the box or manual i think it says "online play valid till X date or whenever next version comes out." now you can still do ip to ip games if that feature is built in. but if its through EA's servers i doubt you can still play. why would they pay for the servers that run online for all the old games? it doesnt encourage people to go out and buy the new ones. all about the $$$ you know. so much that they dont even get the games right at release (2004 had many bugs).

MVP Baseball 04 online..
If i'm not mistaken they discontinued online support for that game when the new version came out (mvp 2005). I own 2004 and never tried it out online. I was going to but there was a mess where if you tried to steal bases/throw out runners the game would crash. Thats Electronic Arts for you eh?

best instrument player
That entire first Van Halen album is great. I think that even if Erruption wasnt the "first" (not sure he was in the first place) to use tapping i still think people would be amazed by it. That song alone inspired me to play guitar and listen to guitar/rock/hard rock/metal music. Now on to the original question. Bass - John Entwistle (The Who), I normally dont care much for bass but everytime i watch him play on video I am stunned. The way he played, standing in the corner by himself with fingers going at a million miles an hour, never looking lost, amazing. Guitar - Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple, Rainbow), I think a lot has been said about him already. Makes me wonder how he is often forgotten when it comes to all those great players from the 70s (Page, Iommi, Gilmore, etc), I think he is the best of the bunch. Guitar - Michael Schenker (Scorpions, UFO, MSG), give a listen to the opening riff and especially the solo from Rock Bottom by UFO. Find me a better solo if you can. If you like rock/hard rock or those neo classical players give this guy a listen (he was one of the inspirations for a lot of them). Guitar - Criss Oliva (Savatage), take the best of Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen, mix em together, and you get Criss Oliva. Ok maybe i'm overhyping him but he was a great player. He had good riffs, and he could play fast, and most important he could play with emotion (more than most players i've heard). The best examples of his playing probably are from the Sirens, Hall of the Mountain King, Gutter Ballet, Streets, and Edge of Thorns albums. How these guys (Savatage) never made it really big I'll never understand. They should of been at that level right below Iron Maiden and Metallica IMO.

Afl season
Boy that sure clears things up. When I saw the title I thought maybe it was about the Arena Football League (like American NFL but the field is half the distance). When he started on about goals I didnt have a clue. I have seen tape of it before (if i'm thinking of the right sport). Those guys are tough (no pads right?) and the pointing thing the officals do after a score always amused me . could never pick up the nuances of the game though
