  1. Yeah seriously, OK State is a good team but they got WAAAY too much praise for beating a ridiculously young UGA team that was HIGHLY over-rated. It's like i said in an erlier post, I don't know how in the hell they were ranked #13. Regardless though unless they beat the Longhorns their season is going to pretty much be a bust.

  5. Because you're insecure. That's the same reason why you apparently care so much about what people say about you on an online forum. That's the only thing I can really think of. Good call dude, good call...

  7. My ex-gf. We still hang out a lot a she tells me, "Please don't leave me.." Which is [bleep]ing ridiculously stupid because she broke up with me twice. Actually she does a lot of things to annoy me, "Oh I didn't break up with you for anyone else I'm just too unstable for a relationship.." Well she asked a dude out like..4 days later? I hate liars, especially her, can someone tell me why I still hang out with her? I would probobly punch her in the face if I knew I could get away with it.
  8. As they deserve, they're a really talented team this year, I wouldn't be suprised to see them knock off USC this year. Do they have SC home or away..? You know a few years back when OSU played Florida for the NT I hated them, I really did. I thought they were totally undeserving to be there and just a program I hated. But these last few years I have grown to sort of like OSU, I mean I can't imagen the pain of being a Buckeye fan. These last few years have just been AWFUL for them, 2 lost title games, no bowl victories, and I REALLY pulled for them last year Vs. Texas. I was honestly depressed to see USC score so late and win the game, it was almost like watching my Tide loose the SEC title last year(ALMOST). For once in a USC victory I feel like the best team lost, I really think OSU had a better team, it was just dumb mistakes that cost them the game. Regardless I guess I'm rambling, I'm really happy to see our star recruit Trent Richardson come out and play like an absolute BEAST, I think 120+ yard rushing with 2 TD's, amazing. Not to mention Greg McElroy set an Alabama record with 14 straight completions, I am so excited about this years team. If it wasn't for UF i would feel confident to say we're going to the NT, but even for Florida that's a dumb statement to make this early. I am really pleased with these first 2 weeks, the big games havn't been that exciting but leave it to the ACC to give us 2 classics in a week. Anyways I'm glad to see this thread is staying alive, good to know I'm not the only NCAA Football fan on these forums, keep it up guys  .
  9. Last night went to bed at about 4:45am, got up today at like 2:10pm. Bad sleeping schedule right now but I have to change it soon because school starts sep. 17.
  10. That really was another instant classic ACC matchup, it's like I said in an erlier post, this is why I LOVE the ACC. Every team can beat every other team. But I was really impressed by the Tigers not just laying down after GT got up 24-0, they made some great quick-strikes, they have some talented players, and by talented I mean incredibly fast lol. It really must of been a heart breaker for you the way it ended, but overall another exciting game out of the ACC. Oh and that fake kick was just ridiculous.. I kind of lol'd when i saw it.
  11. What can I say? We're friggen' rich. Especially when it comes to paying for football.
  12. Yeah I think Notre Dame will be a early good test. Yeah I definatly agree, I look forward to a really good game this Saturday. I can't say much about either team's defense but I know there'll be some scoring. If Michigan can pull off a win they have a chance to win 9-10 games this season with the schedule they have. Same goes for ND if they can win they stand a GOOD chance to win 10 games or more. But I guess that's a lot to say this early, I just hope to see a good game. That sounds good to me. We shall wait and see.. I has a idea everyone. Lets see if we can pick potiental winners during the season. We will keep a "score board" on the first page if fun does not mind editing it ever week. If so...I could take care of it. If we do this, what we do is take all the college games in Division1A, and guess the winners. Get our Win-lose and post it. Be something cool to do on this thread  That'd be fine with me, but I have to tell you that usually when I get on here it's at my ex-gf's and I have like 5 mins to read a few things and post once or twice. But if you're willing to do it just send me the layout idea you have for it and I'll do what I can to help.
  13. Steel Talons for SNES, it's a hellicopter game, un-playable, I'm not exagerating either. Maybe someone can back me up, but I doubt anyone has had the displeasure of playing this game.

  15. I could see that with the schedule USC has, OSU looks like they aren't going to put up the fight everyone expects them to. Then again they could come out and suprise me, Tressel is a good coach, he knows what he's doing, it's just they never seem to play up to their talent. If it does come down to them vs. the Gators I think with UF's defense and the exotic blitz packages they bring will eat Barkley alive.
  16. Yeah man that was a pretty damn good game, a lot of exciting plays. You're right about The-U, I'm suprised with that much young talent they weren't ranked in the pre-season top 25. I really think they can do some damage in the ACC, and honestly if Bradford isn't back for OU by the time these teams they play I think Miama could pull off a victory over The Sooners.
  17. I enjoy the size of these forums, though the community is a little young, but I never have to wait long for replys, which is good because I'm usually bored as hell when I'm on here.
  18. I'd assume if you live in Lubbock you have plenty of things to do, any college town should be plenty exciting. Especially this time of year, Lubbock should be rockin'.
  19. You don't see USC winning the Pac-10 this year or the National Championship? USC is currently the only really outstanding team in the Pac-10 right now imo. I actually didn't even renew my student season tickets this year cause this season is going to be a [cabbage] show. I've gone back to rooting for my Washington Huskies this season. National Title, they're ALWAYS at the very least a good pick for the PAC-10, and I wouldn't say they're the only team. Cal is pretty good this year, and I think they may have USC at home. I also think with the recruiting they've done Stanford will be good in the upcoming seasons.
  20. Man the 2 people who posted above me read my mind, there just isn't enough defense at OU/UT for them to go all the way. I could see maybe USC winning out of the PAC-10 (well not this year). But anyways this FSU vs The Canes tonight is exciting, big plays all around, on offense and defense. Already some deep balls, great catches, good sacks, big runs, this has been an awesome game. That's what I love about the ACC, the competition is amazing, anyone can beat anyone(well a few teams excluded). I mean last year almost every team was in the hunt for the title untill the last week, I love to see such evenly matched competition.
  21.   Oh well, they always suck at football. Yes they do. ;) Washington didn't do so bad against LSU, I was pretty impressed. I was pretty impressed myself, I thought LSU was going to come out and dominate, but UW came out and played with a new attitude, I think they'll win quite a few games this season. I was really worried about how LSU and Ole' Miss would come out and play but after this weekend I think my Tide are a lock for the SEC championship game  . VT played well on special teams and defense but their offense just couldn't get anything to work, I'm really happy with how our defense played. We made STUPID mistakes that kept VT in the game but I know Saban will work out those kinks over the season. Overall a pretty damn good weekend of football, I'm pleased. :
  22. Honestly when you mention Bama's rivals you'd think LSU would be our game to watch this year, but I am sincerly worried about Ole' Miss. We play them AT Ole' Miss, not to mention we BARELY squeeked by with a 3 point vitory last year(17-14), and they had the ball with about 1:30 left so they easily COULD have beaten us. Though I'll say that was easily the best game I attended last year, low scoring but very exciting defensive battle, one of those games were even an extra point is crucial. I think the winner of us and them will represent the SEC Western Division in the title game vs Florida(They're a lock to win the East). Though I guess LSU has been keeping pretty quiet, I really should give them more credit, they could come out and beat both us and Mississippi. But man I tell ya', if VT beats us I will be shocked, our offense is ready to show people we can throw the ball this year were as last year it was 5-yard run x10 for a TD or a broen tackle for an 80-yard run. Our new QB Greg McElroy was the best HS QB in Texas his senior season, and everyone knows Texas HS football is arguably the most competitive in the country. He's a smart guy, maybe his deep ball won't be as good as JP's was but I think overall he's going to be a much better overall package than JP was. Regardless the game isn't played on paper so I guess I'll have to wait and see, I'm hoping for a great game and honestly I am about to burst with excitement  .
  23. Psh, no question in my mind, Lil John. His music will honestly get me so pumped I will end up hurting myself working out too hard. Other than that when I'm about to play basketball I like to listen to some old-skool rap, "T.R.O.Y." By Pete Rock & CL Smooth usually gets me ready to play ball. Uhm I like to listen to a few Dethklok songs as well, they just make me angry which gets me pumped.
  24. 4 McChickens with buffalo sauce, I honestly might eat 40+ of those a month, I am absolutely addicted. As if I needed a reason to like chicken more their buffalo sauce is just ridiculous. I suggest EVERYONE try it, it's good on fries, Big Macs, anything! But the best would have to be McNuggets or McChickens, it's like they were made for each other.
  25. Ok well as it is plainly obvious, I LOVE NCAA football! I'm a huge fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and just an overall fan of the sport. I know from the previous topic I tried to make that there are CFB fans here. The season kicked off last night to a..not so great start. Personally I think trying to make a "hand shaking before games" rule was the entire cause of the incedent. But let me know what YOU think about it. Anyways beyond that the games last night both were pretty hard to watch, I atleast expected BSU to throw down some crazy offense. This weekend for me the season really starts, tommorow my Crimson Tide(#5) will face the Virginia Tech Hokies(#7) and I'm excited as hell! Last year we played a similar game against Clemson and it jump started our entire season, I'm hoping this game will have similar effects. VT is coming in with a mad defense and Tyrod Taylor is an explosive player that will either have a huge play or a horrible interception, though I guess new season new mentality. Our defense is absolutely stacked and honestly I think it could be the best in the country this season. Also a few other big games tommorow, Oklahoma State(#9) vs. Georgia(#13). Peronsally I can hardly name 1 player UGA has returning from a season ago, I'm quite suprised to see them with such a high pre-season ranking. But as I know they are an SEC team, and a power house at that, so I can't allow myself to count them out. OK State comes in with possibly the best offense in the nation, returning stars Zac Robinson(QB), Dez Bryant(WR), and Kendall Hunter(RB). Not to mention a new defensive coordinator who is planning to step up the reputation of OK State's defense. Another big game is Oklahoma(#3) vs. BYU(#20), to be honest I'd be lieing to say I knew a lot about this game, I know that OU's best reciever threat in TE Jermaine Gresham will be out with an injury, as well they bring in 4 new starters on the O-line. With that said I know next to nothing about BYU, I know a lot of their players are married but that's about it. Even with the problems OU has coming into this game I still see them as a HEAVY favorite. With about 10 different teams in the title chase this year it promises to be an exciting season, every one is still in it(aside of Oregon or any non-BCS schools)and everyone is so far undefeated. But anyways I just wanted to see if anyone is as excited as me for this season of NCAA football, feel free to talk about any CFB subjects, I know people have thoughts on that Boise incedent. If you ARE NOT a fan of American football, just please keep your reasons why to yourself, I don't want any non-CFB related arguements, I don't care why you think -insert sport- is harder/better.
