lol, I've been playing since 2003 (total ingame time 95 days) and I don't have a single 99, so maybe the capes are devalued for crazy grinders, but for me it would still be an achievement :)

I'm totally addicted :) Have quit several times, but always come back. Good thing is I am not "that addicted" to put my social life behind RS, but alltogether I have spent too much time on RS by my standards... and it doesn't look like I will ever be able to quit it for good.

It's either you play to get max efficiency or you "just play". Sometimes I look at my stats that I've got in 9 years and then at stats of people who play only for a few years and I understand how inefficiently I am training, but it's ok, it's fun...

so far got cooking from 75 to 80. now multiplier at 2x

As an oldschool player I am of course a bit upset that game is getting so easy now. I wonder what would Zezima say looking at 3billion+ exp TOP achieved mostly in the last few years :) It is of course still insanely hard to get that much exp, but it was a lot harder to get all 99s several years ago. Although maybe I am not the one to argue about exp, playing since 2003 my highest level is 90 :) I don't get how people manage to even click to 13mill exp in one skill :)

I've also got only med lamps, but my brother was luckier...

83 days, playing since 2003, total exp 34,8M that makes around 17,5k per hour, could I be the most inefficient player, at least top 10? :)

Christmas crackers do not get influenced by phat crashes too much, I think they will be well over 1bil in free trade. very small amount in the market... (that's my opinion as of someone who unfortunately doesn't own any crackers)

anyone care to predict if partyhats (at least lower ones) will fall with next GE update? If purples and as we can see even yellow have been sold under med, they should fall, right? and that could cause a little panic selling of more phats in GE, rright?

Interesting- last update of pumpkin was +6mill, yet mine is not selling under average at the moment...

a couple of months ago I alched air battlestaves, 10gp pure profit per each alch :)

Lucky for me (cmb lvl 100) he was only lvl 124 and I could beat him easily. I guess you need to wait until some experiences solo-er sees this post and gives you a great advice :)

Sorry, but you have no way of transferring items from RSC to new RS, my brother left a mask set on RSC, thinking he will play it, but now it seems it would have been smarter to transfer when he had the chance :)

well, I'm playing since 2001, and I am addicted, but at least I am managing the time. I don't really feel that I've vasted too much life on it (70 days of playtime during these 9 years) and I've managed to have a normal social life... Maybe because I\ve always put my family and friends before my addiction :)

Thanks for the advice to everyone who gave some! Just as I thought, will have to merch some high in demand stuff daily. (I want to get a phat, so I need to merch my 80 mill up + blue and green masks waiting in bank).

umm, doesn't that answer your question/rant? :) You like the skill, but do not like to train it slowly, be grateful you only joined after RS2, you wouldn't like the "old" rs with no "x all" options etc :D

Well in good old days Blue masks were the most valuable, I have no idea why this changed (didn't play inbetween). But I bet there are a lot of people now who also think that Pink phats have always been the lowest ;)

It was too long ago, I only remember discovering lands beyond Lumbridge a few days after starting, and I was really amazed by the greatness of Varrock :)

Like I promised, here are some old pics :) The one I like the most- me getting 85 lvl mining :) The good old times when you could set bank on fire! Dueling... I was very happy getting a mask set :) Unfortunately didn't get a party hat :( (though blue masks were the best back then, I don't understand why that changed to red) Here I snapped myself with a very famous guy back then- S A X Ok, and finally a newer pic, I was even 11th on runecrafting highscores when it came out (for an hour maybe :))

I just couldn't help it, hadn't logged in in 3 years, but this thread was worth it. i'll try and remember to post some of my old pics here later. Also, there should have been a rule not to post anything from new RS, otherwise, the name of thread "old school" kind of loses it's meaning :)
