Even though I don't necessarily think this is the right thing. Nor will it benefit me directly, but the idea of players coming together is appealing to me. So, I supported you on the forums today.

although the movie revolved around the altar, it was just a running theme, ALOOOOTT more is going on it, for people with your view id hope theyd go back and rewatch it to see the many other issues it brings up, in the end its not about the altar, thats just used to express a larger arguement, i dont throw anything in to be 'cute' and im actually pretty surprised youd think i would the change to the altar/alter(depending how much you respect the language and how jagex dictates its spelled) would represent more than just pking, recognize what we need to do in order to get it changed and then you realize whats really going on;) i didnt post this to over 80 clan forums cuz i think its fun registering for them You want the pking community to come together and be active in helping Jagex create a more fun experience? If so, then maybe you should highlight that message moreso than the lvl37 altar. Cause, thats all that seems to come through.

like i said we need to live in reality, we know jagex wont have any real clan support untill after new skills, after that MAYBE, but i dont see it happening Reality is that the wildy wasn't designed for wars between hundreds of players. Just requesting a simple battlefield with two 1 click chests at either end and wildy rules is no more unreasonable than all those things you suggested. Anyhow, its just a suggestion if your plan doesnt work. I just think your asking for too many things to be changed and Jagex doesnt seem that willing to make sweeping changes to already existing things. It might be easier to coax them into something new, thats small.

Is what your really after is a big battlefield for these gang wars? Why don't you just request that as opposed to trying to get them to redo parts of the wildy? I can't see how the chaos altar over there is going to be any better than the demonic ruins. You still going to get looters, luring, protect prayers etc. Thats just how people play nowadays. Get some new mini game where you get a huge battle field with 2 hills on either side. On each hill are encapments where a stock tent can be found to deposit your stuff directly to bank. Wildy rules apply, and respawn in lumby etc. when dead. Just a thought.

Yes you have to do shades of morton to be able to reach the shade tombs.

Yes you're right, they update the .java files, compile them, then just restart server to make the changes appear on the server. If this is real, it could be possible to spawn the items on a private server, and reveal pics of them... I wonder why they add them before the real update though. Maybe it cuts down on update time (loading of new data), if during each system update they add bits and pieces of future planned updates. Instead of sending huge data file during a massive update such as recipe for disaster. But, you would think it would make for a tougher scheduling.

Does Jagex really add 1000s of items into the game and then magically reveal them during a system update? Is this how a system update works? I thought during a system update, the servers all go offline while new data is being added to them.

I was surprised by this post. I thought the nech's drops were cabbage. I've been on 5 assignments of 120+ of them and gotten ashes. I got maybe 20 deaths and a pair of rune boots to my recollection. Thats it. I've always found slayer monsters to drop cabbage other than Kurasks. They are always good to me. I get a yellow mystic top on every asignment with them and usually a half key or 2.

I might be mistaken. But, in Germany the name Hitler was outlawed. Anyhow, I guess Jagex doesnt want the kids discussing adolf and facism.

Well, the golden rule works okay in general. But, if your not patient and understanding of the fact that everbody has a different perspective and values, then your going to take exception to something too quickly and end up in that endless "eye for an eye" conflict. Also, I wouldn't invest in Karma. Life isn't fair. Why should it be? Fairness is relative to your viewpoint and random events do occur without hidden meaning. That is to say drawing conclusions between unrelated events (e.g. good deed one days lead to fortune the next) is more human nature and how the brain seeks patterns than devine intervention or fate.

I'm not sure whats wrong with alot of people having maxed out combat skills. Afterall, I thought successful pkers wanted to be know for skills over stats. If alot of the pkers are 120+ then it would just come down to skills and a bit of luck. I'm nuetral on the whole raising the cap thing since I don't have any problems with it now or in the foreseeable future. 13mil xp is still alot for me, and magic is like the only skill I could see myself getting 99 this year in since its so fast and cheap.

I never really starting burning shades till after I got 80 firemaking. This update helped me alot. Cut my time to make a mil in half. But, I don't think there is much market for shade bodies. The lvl120s are the only ones worth burning for xp. (100 ea) However, they require a silver key to get to. So only people who can burn yew pyres can access them. This really limits the number of people who can collect shade remains. Perhaps, if enough people get into shade burning a market for sacred oil will appear. Paying 1 to 2k per sacred oil (4 dose) isn't against my religion. I would be getting good prayer & firemaking xp, doing combat, and getting decent money or breaking even if I bought my mage logs.

Isnt. Used a log on bridge with axe in inventory. Got message need both hammer and axe in inventory to fix bridge. Couldn't find a hammer on that side anywhere.

Yup, I have met them over 10 times and they have never attacked my companion. Protect from range and attack. Works for me. Met them twice, both times I got 3 of them. First time all three went aggressive on my companion before I even got my bearings. Dead before I could even figure out what was going on. Second time, I almost got it. Had like 2 on me the second im there. Hit like 40 on me before I knew where I was. Third one was finishing of my companion while I'm downing sharks and fumbling with prayers. :evil:

You having way too much luck with this. All I get are cabbage stuff. The hard path isnt even worth it. I've only done it like 1 in 7 trys. Have you met the giant snails yet? They will kill your companion in seconds.

Beat the hard route (3 or whatever) with the old man and his cane. Got my amazing reward of 37 wildblood seeds. :roll: Fan-fricking-tastic. Oh, bring a hammer. One of the events needs it. But, they dont tell you. Its the bridge one. I loved giving up cause i didnt have a hammer to fix the bridge. :evil:

Then why do you have 99 farming and cooking? :roll: Never seen anybody pk somebody using farming or cooking techniques.
