  6. Ok as a CCNA and a CCDA I can tell you the whole point of a router is that the outside world only sees one ip addie. Subnet masks are used for intanetwork refrence. let me see if i can explain. Most modern routers work like this. They use Network Address Translation (NAT) Technology - Prevents hackers from seeing (and attacking) your network address while you're surfing the web. NAT technology translates IP addresses of a local area network to a different IP address for the Internet. Each computer on your network has a local IP address. When the router gets the data transmission to forward out to the Internet, the router puts a different IP address on the transmission. This way, whoever receives the data transmission doesn't know what the actual IP address of the computer is, so the computer is hidden, only the router is seen. There are other pieces of info in the packets that tell the router where to send the packets when they get back. Most of this info is meaningless to a computer on the other end of the transaction, because it does not know the structre of the internial network.
  7. yea here we go. its longgggg over due. With that said its still mostly just basic info, and not really that much of a help. on a side note the rules a explained a bit better even if they are still not going by what they say in the rules. from the new kb Rule 8 - Multiple Logging-In My brother and I both play from our own accounts in our house. Is it all right if we trade items? Yes, this is not going against the rules of conduct providing you are both playing from two separate accounts created by each of you. i think we all no this is false these days.any enough said not going to rant on that again.
  8. Thank you for all your hard work. This sure beats digging through all the guides looking at the rewards like i used to do. Once more thank you.
  9. Well I know it is comeing for me and mine. My wife and I both pay along with our two young sons they both have a tendeny to want things they can't get. if you asked them they would say need but thats anouther story. i am all the time giving them things like low lvl food ,tuna most of the time. dualing rings games necklesses charging glorys for them. All these things can look wrong if you don't look at them all the way through. There are no real rules broken by this no where does it say i can't give anouther player anything i want to. we have up to 4 players on at my house most days. We have been known to have friends over for a bit of a LAN party from time to time and then its been up to 20 players or so all at once from one LAN makes for fun clan pk trips. All this said i figure it will all soon come to an end soon because of the way jagex is doing things now days. I will miss the game but i will not start over again i have worked to hard to get where i am. If they chose to ban us i will not continue to suport them by giving them more money, if they will not suport us.
  10. To the auther one simple word. "amen"
  11. this is a trick i use to keep my bank in slighly better order never have just one of anything if you can help it. this way if you take something out the exta one still hold the bank slot . even a lot of things that you are told you can only have one of if you drop it get the extra then pick the other one back up. hope this helps at least a few people.
