I think it is worth noting in the quest guide that you need to be on normal magics to enchant the root. The guide just states to bring runes only later do you find that they are for enchant spell i was on lunar when doing this quest for the easy tellies in the area. Lonew0lf1974

RCing gloves from FOG plus the telly tabs makes for some very fast xp. 13 xp per rune ess on earths.

I don't look for trading accounts to be the next big RWIT problem in runescape but rather "power leveling" Its really the only thing they will have left. Its not a new thing either they have been doing this for years too.

Well if you read the update all the way through if you kill someone your not assigned and pick up any of their items then you are stuck in multi combat for 3 min with a big price tag next to your name and having the timer on means you can't protect item so yea thats not going to work out so well for them.

Ok i have really mixed feelings over this, but for the most part i can understand and agree with the reasons for this update. I wish we could still give gifts even if it had to go though jagex somehow. lets say i want to give my wife a mud staff for her birthday. I get the item then take it somewhere like the grand exchange and pay a fee for the transfer. That would leave them all easily tracked and for gifts i would even be willing to pay the market price of the item again to have it transfered. Just my too cents worth. And loot share for bosses is a joke. Once a trip is over and every one logs it resets. No coming back the next day to go for that hilt again. I mean well you can but the same guy has just as good a chance of getting this time as last.

OK I'm not a staker myself but i can see the need to stop duals being used as a way to transfer RWIT gold and items. that said there had to be a better way than 3k max why not have you max bet based on rank so some throw away lvl 3 RWIT account can only max at 3k or so but if your high ranking you can stake much more this would solve the problem of both sides in my opinion.

I have noticed the same thing with the spinners. However if attacked from a distance range or mage they will move for the attacker. lonew0lf1974

If you don't have the software to take them you can press print screen to take a snapshot. Then open ms paint click on edit then paste to open the image you took. Crop it if you want and then save. lonew0lf

Bracelets should be added to the calculator. They have been out for a while now and the alc value is higher that any of there counterparts. I kept looking for this update but it never came. this is nice info to have when planing what to make from stuff. Such as gold bracelet 330 gp compared to ammy at 210 gp. Huge difference in your money made or lost. Its worth noting that I got these alc values from the items data base. Here are the values i have at this point. Simply put if you don't like having to do the work to get your levels go find a game where cheats are allowed, and leave us to play on a level playing field the way we like it. lonew0lf

Yes I pulled the 90% out of the air. Does that make it not true? I don't think so. Your "research" is flawed there is no control group. their is no other side to the story. Thats what your getting here the other side of that story. How many of those players desided not to use the servers where money could buy what you wanted? If I where to go ask a group of f2p players if f2p should get more updates what do you think the % of them that said yes would be? Now ask that same question to a group of p2p players and I bet you get a vastly different answer. To get the opinion of the true player base you have to ask both. Research can and will be skewed to the result the researcher wants. All you have to do is find the "right" test group. All that aside I don't see that many rants about removing rule 12. If players want a game where they don't have to grind out lvls they should look elsewhere. I draw my since of fun from the game because of the hard work I put into it. Now that said I still think you have the right to your opinion Duke. I just happen to think its wrong just like you think mine is wrong. The point remains that I am studying at university to educate myself, not to compete with other people over grades or anything. You still have a lot to learn about school and education apparently. Apart from that, your comparison is not perfect. Key aspect that misses here is that people play RuneScape for fun and shouldn't be forced to do things they don't like, unlike real life education which is there to educate you and that is not necessarily always fun. Oh ok I don't understand it. You go to college why. I'm betting its so when you get out you can get a good paying job and make a good life for yourself. Lets make years of education lvls shall we a high school drop out let say is lvl 30. a high school grad about 50 tech school 65 4 year college 80 masters about a 90 and a doctorate 99. All those years in school well thats the grinding your talking about. Now a person can get by and live with out most of that IRL. However their life will be much harder than someone who put in the years of training. But by what you are saying you wouldn't have a problem with say the guy that is going to the same job interview as you for a 200k a year job got it over you because he gave the boss his maxed ut RS account. Oh did I mention he's a high school drop out by the way. If that ever happened some one would be calling a lawyer. Now the guy who put in hours upon hours in rs in order to be able to mine and smith rune. You think he's not going to get ticked off when he gets there only to find that the guy trying to mine that rune ore he wants just started last week but paid $500 to get 85 mining and 90 smithing. Sorry but you won't find many people who think someone should be able to buy your way to the top in anything. People believe that people should work for what they get in life. That carries over to rs because it is full of honest hard working people who think others should earn what the get. It is the cheats you see it as ok. Our prisons are full of people who saw nothing wrong with what they did. RS used to have a prison of sorts but they decided they death penalty worked just fine.
