They get experience both from fighting monsters and from completing events. When I trained Zachory to level 99 I had him farcasting snails across the swamp and then safespotted for snakes, ghast and nail beasts. Took a while, but once he reaches 75, it speed it up a little.

You got a drop from the "rare" drop table. Pretty much every monster has it.

Ok so I got the Borrowed Power spell and the amulet and I have some info if anyone cares. The amulet: It has +10 magic bonus, same as Amulet of Fury which is... decent I guess. Examine: An amulet that stores a spell inside it. If you charge it with a spell and then try to remove the charges, your amulet will be destroyed in the process. I don't know if you get your runes back. You can't recharge it, so if you use a spell, you can't refill it with new spells, you have to use them all up. I don't know if you lose the amulet if the charges runs out or if you get to recharge it. The spell: One spell = one charge + 3 astral runes. The lack of spells, is pretty depressing, I have no idea why they chose to include the wave spells and not the surge, it just doesn't make sense. Enfeeble.... No one ever uses that spell. Telekinetic grab... Oh why? Entangle.... This is probably the best option if you're team pking with lunar spells and using Veng group. But if you're even using magic in multi pk then you're either using Ancient magics for ice spells or standard for Teleblock, which then includes all these spells. So all in all, the spell is pretty much useless.

Anyone notice that there isn't a combat style fixed to the damage? So its not new spell graphics... I'm curious if this is quest related. First thing that came to my mind was the Jad pet. Abyssal demons are known for whips, and the Abyssal Minion gives the player a fake one. Jad is known for high hits, maybe the pet attacks the player after talking to it? That sounds feasible. I'm betting on a new livid farm spell for that picture. Hmm, sounds like something that could happen. Wonder what spell it will be then.

I guess Jagex entered the "Milk the game as much as you can before it dies" phase. But seriously, I never expected Jagex to sink to that level.

I guess Jagex for the first time is going to jump in the bts order. Maybe the quest needed some extra time.

I haven't played much Runescape lately, one of the reasons is because of the lack of good updates like the newly released Temple Trekking Revamp, also because of the lack of good story quests. Although I voted to return free trade, there are still parts of me that feel that that is one of the reasons I have the feel to quit. I mean, with the amount of bots around the game has just lost it's spark. You can't go anywhere anymore and not see a bot. Even though the mod who posted that video got demoted I am glad someone had the courage to make a video like that. The last two times I have voted for Runescape for the Golden Joystick award. But this time, I just can't do it.

There are a lot of different things changed. Few new fun treks, updated graphics and textures, you can chose the reward from the tokens, new reward items, the whole npc system was reworked which is now GREAT!

I just got Zachory to level 99 and got the Canifis trapdoor shortcut. When toggled, the trapdoor will lead you straight to where the boat ends up in Mort'ton. So no more need to run through the basement, through the doors, over the tree bridge and then run to the boat. Really speeds things up.

So what's the fastest way to level them up? What path? Tanking and letting them kill? Rushing through easy?

Same deal happened to farming when Jagex released a poll asking how farming would be as a skill. Look where we are now. Anyway. There already is swimming involved in agility. Jagex said sailing would never be a skill. Archeology or engineering like Sy_Accursed said would be the best from what I could think of.

My bad habit. Everything I sell in ge, I always put it for 5/10% cheaper then mid because I would be too lazy to take it out and put it back in if it didn't sell at mid. Same thing with stuff I buy, but 5/10% more expensive.
