  1. *Rings buzzer* WRONG! When attacking using agressive my maximum hit is a 16 with a rune scimitar. On defence it's only 15, at least from my experimentation. Yep, it's the same case with me where I hit 19s on Accurate/Aggressive, but defensive I hit only 18.
  2. If I had ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1,000,000, I would convert it into US Dollars first since I can't use Brittish pounds in the US. Will bank most of it and use the rest to help pay off the university fees for myself and my siblings. I might spend a bit to go to China to travel a bit as I rarely get a chance to go back to see the homeland of my ancestors. :)
  3. Sorry, but if you're going to have a competition you need to give more details and not require people to pay a pledge/entrance fee as that can possibly lead to scamming. Not that I'm accusing you of scamming of course. But we really don't want to get into that sort of mess if we let this go through and that happens.
  4. If you got all the stuff for it, quite possible. :)
  5. Now now, if you two are gonna debate, don't hijack this thread to do it. Do it privately and off this thread please. Back on topic... "Whats that kruan?" To be honest I had no idea what the guy was talking about until I realized he meant crown. :?
  6. 1. What made you remain F2P? I needed a challenge. I wanted to compete against other players with a "handicap." F2P was my answer. There was also a matter of money, which cannot be helped as I wish to put all my current savings into paying for university tuition and books (god they're getting more expensive). Plus I cannot trust myself to be P2P usefully and long term when my schedule is somewhat sporadic already. Don't want to get members for a month and end up only playing for half of it or something. 2. Have you ever wanted to be member? No. I need challenge to enjoy a game strangely enough. 3. Do you plan to be a member in the future? Nope. For anyone that says anything about it being only $5, that already covers half of my health services at the college I'm currently attending. $5 also means two packs of scantrons, two notebooks, or three admission fees for bus fare for me. You may have the money to spend leisurely, but others like me do not.
  7. At least try to make your stories flow better next time... Disgraceful to the Library this is.
  8. Two people and I were in the Ice Caves were playing "Rotten Egg." What you do is have a race to see who can change into the egg specified the fastest. The last one is the "Rotten Egg." It was quite a laugh. :P
  9. Fixed it for you, although you may need to fix your formatting some. It's a bit hard to read. ;)
  10. Locked inside the bank. If you take it all out you can't bank it. Nor can you bank stuff already in your personal inventory unless it's a stackable item already in the bank. Going from F2P to P2P and then F2P again can prove to be difficult for some, particularly in the training area where you get over 60k per hour on P2P while F2P gets a max of 40k per hour.
  11. Cut the flame. I don't want to have to go clean up the thread again for childish arguments. Either discuss the article maturely or don't post on this thread. This is a warning.
  12. It's Full Clothes => Two Emotes => 500 Coins. :P
  13. It's been a while since I've last written something... "Ordinary" is still on binder paper, being rewritten over and over again... In the meantime, here's something else. :) ~ Blink Introduction This was just another night after a long day on the college campus. My ears and head still hurt a bit from the uncomfortable headphones I had to use in the language lab. I felt like I was going blind each time I stared for a while. A whispy smoke crept into my vision each time I did, soon completely obliterating all sense of color. Each blink gave me just a few seconds of the visual field before the smoke came back. I was tired, I told myself. Nothing is wrong with my eyes. The words on the pages in front of me blurred once more as my eyelids drooped. Sleep was starting to win as the smoke came back in full force. I blinked wearily. What I saw when I opened my eyes couldn't be described as shocking or horrifying. It was most certainly not the textbook I was reading, nor the computer screen I was facing. If a student from the anatomy class saw this, he too would stare in mortification despite cutting up cadavars daily. Who could have set such a grotesque tableau in a fraction of a second? A glance around the surrounding area showed that I was still in the same room, yet that tableau remained when I turned back to where I hoped to see my book and monitor. "What in the..." "I see you've found my gift." I turned around and found an unfamiliar man standing no more than a yard away from me. He wore a clean lab coat. In his pocket stuck out several surgical tools. That smile, those eyes... I got up from my chair, backing away along the table. Blood stained my hands as I crept along, keeping my eyes on him. "Who... who are you and why did you-" "Set such a wonderful display of pure gore? Come now, don't deny it. You've always wanted to see such magnificant works of art." "Wh-what.." My entire body felt cold, I realized then. I stared at my hands. They were so white where the blood had not smeared over yet. Blink. The man was gone. The blood, the horrifying tableau too. Yet I was standing in the middle of the room, stunned. "Hey, you all right, kiddo?" I looked up towards the doorway and saw my roommate looking at me with some concern. "Um yea." I stared at my desk. "Did you see a guy walk out of my room by any chance?" "No. Lost your boyfriend?" "No. I think I lost my brain though." "Check the cadavar room for it then." "Haha, very funny. But seriously, I think someone was in here." "Kid, quit studying and get some sleep. It's almost midnight," she said, leaning at the doorway while stifling a yawn. I sighed. "All right, I'll be there in a few." As I watched her leave, I turned to look at my desk again. For a fleeting moment I could see the tableau flash before my eyes, then nothing but the usual setting once again. I walked back over to my desk, closing my book and shutting down the computer. My hand brushed across something wet and sticky on the desk and I looked down. Blood.
  14. For training on F2P especially: Never train on things higher than you unless you want to waste time and food. It is best to train on things lower than yourself. Lesser Demons are not very effective unless you're using Silverlight, but that has terrible accuracy. About Random Events: 1. Evil Chicken gives you feathers which you can save for fletching if you plan on going P2P or just sell it off. 2. Rock Gollum can give pick axes. 3. Zombies drop bones, sometimes a good amount of big bones. Or Fishing Bait if you hate buying from the shop. :P 4. Tree Spirits can give Nature Runes as well as axes. 5. River Troll can give you fish and bait if needed. Dunno if they give fishing equipment because I rarely run into those things. :P Shade is the only one that gives nothing on F2P. :P
  15. Actually he's just one of the many individuals in the world that believe they can sue for almost anything. Not all Californians are that idiotic.
  16. That made me giggle. :P :| When someone begs for stuff, I just go by the saying, "Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you will not have to listen to his incessant whining about how hungry he is." (Note: This was an improved version of the original quote.)
  17. It's snowing in some parts of California that isn't supposed to snow like the Santa Cruz Mountains. :? Normally the snow in California is in the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe region. Weather's gone nuts.
  18. Can: 1. Pets 2. Appropriate Images of Room/Closet - This means no inappropriate posters/pictures, no lettering in which could reveal someone's location, and no major identifying marks that would reveal someone's location. 3. Desk - Same deal with the Room/Closet. 4. Famous Places/People/Other Animals 5. Generic Images of Cars/Bikes/Motorcyles Can't: Faces of Yourselves/Family/Friends in Real Life License Plates ID Cards Addresses Passports Any Other forms of Identification that is Traceable This has been discussed among the staff and has been approved. :) Have fun posting, but make sure you remember the rules!
  19. I'm very sorry for your loss. :( My thoughts go out to your friends and family.
  20. The change in the character for zero is actually a very good thing. People can finally report autoers, particularly auto typers, with much greater ease than spending more time tha necessary figuring out what name it is.
  21. >_> Pfft, I'm not mature at all. I'm a kid running around. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=375445 ;)
  22. 99 Woodcutting because I used to want to get it back on RSC. :P
  23. I doubt it. I had my axe head flying away even at 99 woodcutting. >_< ! Sorry Forsake, I meant the doctor that comes when a piece of rock or whatever hits you on the head! It's okay. ^_^ I actually had that once, but as andreas1993 said, it's now gone. :( Personally I never liked that event... it hurt my head trying to count the fingers because it was moving so much.
  24. I doubt it. I had my axe head flying away even at 99 woodcutting. >_<
  25. I started on RSC... Thought tinder boxes were very rare and important. Until my brother told me I could get one in the general shop instead of hunting on the ground for one.
