no, the def and atk stats wil go to zero and the effect wont happen. you will have to repair it for 300k+ at bob in lumbridge (axe shop) or use them with a armour stand in some1s poh and you will get a discount for repairing. (if your smith is 60 you will get 60:2=30% discount)
