i dont think smite will be powered up, or moved. id like to see that but. smite + sapphire bolts now work pretty good.

he is right...but if it is true, any1 who doesnt have a fire cape is going to be stuck in dust.... One percent? Take a gander at the many threads making predictions about the behind the scenes news. Tip.iters have a relatively high prediction rate. Also, it isn't exactly that hard to extrapolate the effects of the new prayers from the "pilfered" information. The only REAL question is whether or not the prayer requirements for existing prayers will raise... and you can only be 50% wrong there. :wink: And most people who attempt for a fire cape have more than the required prayer level of 40. I doubt many people will have to do more than a few levels of prayer raising which is easy and fast through altars/pc. Not to mention that it is totally lame that the highest prayer possible currently is attainable at lvl 52. Can you imagine if full rune was smithed at 52 and you had 47 levels of dead space? Smithing is easier/cheaper to raise but the concept is still sound. sadly rahk, some dont. when d2h came out, educated people made guess's to its str bonus. from evalutating mith 2handers to rune. i took a wildy shot @ the str bonus and was closer then any of them that i knew of. i really HOPE TO GOD, they add 20% prayer for rangers and mages. i mean magic pot raises u 4 lvls, ranged pot is 15%, a super sets is 20% what the hell?

perhaps, or the more reasonable idea is behind the fact that the variable they use to store the data for money is limited to 2.1bil their real #'s is on google, search for "long variable parameters" or something it just may not be possible to expand the GP cap.

Exactly. I don't see anything positive coming from this update; Imagine being the one guy left behind while your friends get to have all the fun of laying waste to noobs without you. I'd love to see who started complaining about this in the first place. The problem with this is that people have become accustomed to bug-abusing this. Jagex did not intend for it to work this way. Now that they fixed it people are mad that they can't abuse the bug. This is what aggravates me even more. Castle Wars has been out for how long, and it only just now gets fixed? Unacceptable :shame: barrows set have been out how long and verac just started hittin thru prayer in the last month :shame: unacceptable.

Your post gave me an idea, what if (when using a stat boosting prayer) your weapon/armor glowed? :o that is the coolest thing i ever heard ANYONE on tip.it suggest.

crystal shield IMO One word: It degrades. XD thats true...i hate that about it, a decent shield thats at least creative looking(dsq is to) and they make it garbage sort of. personally defensive armor means little to me especially a shield. i sold my obby shield, no need for the extra 20 def points compared to a rune defender. in dragon chain legs + rune defener, its basically wearing full rune. id say id go with a rune defender over a shield any day. if i needed those defense points, i shouldnt be their or should have left that spot earlier.

Then your fingures will be bored, then go for 85 fletching, you'll get scammed and move back to f2p, realising it's rubbish you join back to members and buy the rares and alch them and make runescape fun! hm, all that seems like a personality flaw to me. personally, get your agility to like 35. do some quest. make some $ make sure you have like, oh if you want to be realistic. 5mil. i know when i became a memeber i had like 400k... then bam i had like no $. just take it step by step. and remember, if people dont like u or make fun of u. put them on your ignore list.

buy a glory and ring of wealth, do lost city, buy dragon dagger (s) for 50k and a dlong for 90k, and then goto castle wars. proceed to get 800 tickets.

Me too. I think this month looks kinda mediocre. I like that they're redoing old stuff, but there's no big special update in August. As Jagex stated, august is the time for hollidays :P wow, no holidays come to mind for august off the top of my head except my parents birthdays...

well it depends on your definition of useage verac = best for maging or using while praying. if u have to wear armor to cast spells, verac = best. if your gonna go some where dangerous and may need to heal, then guthans is the best. if your going to play minigames where u get hurt, but want to hurt other people, dharok is the best if ur up for good defense, dharoks plate and legs cover that...and torags helm is the best, but really...is 10 defense points going to get you killed? @ 70 defense i dont think so. all about application and if u flat out have guthans, what the point of even wanting the best defense? u could wear full mithril and melee stuff for 20minutes, put on guthans and go back @ wearing your mithril...

no i seriously doubt that, it will probably be like, 15% magic def, and 15% magic accuracey. like with that prayer on, u could cast a spell easier in, oh say dragon, or verac. and this update came @ a horrible time, we were winning in castle wars i was flag holding...super majin was protecting me and the clock runs down to 0:00 and... thats all i wanted my 2 tickets Good Iddea :XD: i suggest you do, i have a screen shot of what the barrows armor looks like, and its depressing that they changed it. unfortunately, i dont have the old dchain look

the emerald poison thing, is a green smoke that rises from the ground i potted to lvl 98 ranged, as i came down i hit a 17 @lvl 95 with mith Emerald bolts. so definately crazy... i mean these could be worth lvling range with

bolts are drops now. from monsters. ive had bolt drops off chaos druids and off normal men in lumby.

monsters now drop these bolts i got like 10 bronze off men 10 mithril off chaos drudis.

i heard novalyfe is sellin rune crossbows lumby basement 65k ea on wordl 48

99 ranged potted with a rune cross bow. with onyx(or dragonstone) tipped rune bolts. thatd cost alot. and imagine that stuff...

bring prayer pots. ur usually under attack by magic or ranged. when maging just wear some less restricting armor, chain works well. perhaps dhide chaps to avoid some magic and ud benefit from their -10ish magic attack. be prepared to die, and have a good tele some where close to a bank u can tele back to quickly if u die from poison on the way to the bank like elf crystal...no1 is their usually if u die grab another and tele back up quickly to get your stuff

so true. however, it just seems as if jagex doesnt appreciate ranged that much. mind you im all in favor of a good update...but i highly doubt it will be good. i mean a good ranged update, thatd be great for me training my ranged up personally crystal and the magic short bow are, pretty good for now. i mean. they work...a new bow would be nice and all but seriously. id expect better ranged armor over black dragon hide. id really like to see white dragon hide

i really doubt ranged will ever see anything hitting 30's. instead, i imagine if you recall jagex saying the bone crossbow fire bolts up to iron. makes me wonder if they will release smithable bolt's up to rune. or perhaps rune crossbows. has has potential thats all i know. i do not expect great things. more like i expect them to release something like snakehide version of cross bows.
