not until they build a chat system into it i hate to say it but whatever jagex makes for a chat system isnt going to stack up to an IRC server/channel unless it allows for 1k + people to use it at a time and is password protected or something like that. + SS's irc chat features like its auto check prices of items is awesome, because im like i dont want to go check this out for price. also world updaters for PC and who knows what else? takes SS down a notch tho.

yea, i dont disagree with convenience being a good thing, but its not always the best. lets look at two simple things, computers and cars. to be very simple electricity and gasoline are what powers 1 and the other. in perfect working condition simple maintence will keep things working for a while. now thats like if you PC'ed all your lvls, you did what you had to do, with no knowledge of how/why it works. and more importantly how to fix it if it breaks. not every1 knows how to reinstall their OS or a motherboard, or fix a flat tire or change spark plugs. what is good about runescape to, it isnt as complex as a car, it cant be broken forever unlike a computer or car where a surge of electricity or lack of fluids would ruin the base product. its not fair to group PC products as dumb, but its true that it has made some people of a higher lvl combat remain uneducated. thats their problem, until i have to listen to them think they are my equal. really, i pced some exp but not all of it. i was 113 pure combat after about 1 year of playing this game. then pc came out. and i edge my way into a few goal lvls i had aimed for. like i was 90 melee stats and 60ish prayer i became 99 str within a week and then meleed my 90 atk&def to 99's and 99hp as well. i really wish PC wasnt a way of life so much as a side benefit. indeed. but id be arrogant either way.

drop parties are too random for me, i prefer to give items to people whom seem like they need/deserve them. and who do not ask. i usually drop garbage while a real drop party is going on, i have 8k buckets of sand in my bank which tends to get spread around @ parties.

but buying the weapons itself has a cost. for example the mage short only costs 5k, the whip costs above 1.6m so that can probably be the reason why. despite the master wand in mage arena. yes but you buy the weapon then when finished you sell it on, thats it you lose 0 maybe some food money but not as much as range and nowhere near as much as mage who buys a whip then sells it? i paid 6mil for mine and im pretty sure its the same 1, i think i might have traded whips with a friend, his for mine. but other then that it might be the same 1 i paid 6mil for. its too bad they nerfed the arrow accumulator when they updated it, i made alot of arrows off that thing in like a week of PC i hade 2.5k steel arrows i never had.

I must admit I havent tried the blessed axe, but in my opinion rod of ivandis works very well since it has special powers against vampires, and I seriously doubt I would hit much better with the blessed axe. who knows, maybe its like a salve ammy? i dunno or care honestly. whatever tho when your max melee as you and i are nothing exactly matters that much, especially with a minigame. you have to agree it might be worth a shot tho, +4 str max hit @ lvl 77, translate that 22 str lvls higher your 17 of the rod might goto 24ish with an axe. also, these are undead, so salve ammy works?

even tho i could pay for my runescape members by my self, sadly jagex does not accept cash and really... i have no use/want/need for a credit card @ this time in my life. i guess if i ever feel stupid and buy a credit card ill put it in a dumb blog of runescape. really, its the credit card issues i see being a draw back of runescape and the interest compiling on the $ to be a bigger issue. i mean sending $5 a month to a company seems dumb to me, id just write a check for like $100 and be like, this will cover it for the next 2 years.

magic uses runes like crazy, seriously when is the last time any1 went out of their way to regularly mage random things with chaos runes other then iron dragons? not many things, i used to train my magic with mind runes i got from chaos druids and i got from 1-79 magic off mind runes alone(well not entirely...) but theirs really not a good way to retain $ from maging monsters i found maging blue dragons in taverly @ 70 agility with teles and chaos gaunts to be the most cost effective thing other then something like purely luck such as barrows. range? let me say, theirs a reason my ranged is lvl 91, and it will stay that way. you think 91 ranged is high? its not i hit 23s with a crystal bow and 19s with rune arrows(thats potted to i think) this skill is so under powered but since its effectively cheap and easy to train it should be. but id love to have 99 ranged. melee is just easy as hell to train and cheap, darkdude said it all on like page 1. listen to him, no really theirs a reason melee is the most favored method, and theirs so many reasons melee is the best, fastest, cheapest, easiest and the ego boosting of skills. id like to see any1 with 100 combat not act like they are hot [cabbage]. exactly, 4 people dont. every1 else does. and the DDS spec, well yea that thing is good but so unpredictable. ive been trying to reproduce my best DDagger spec @ castle wars for days, and it has not happened. 34/34 spec on some1 using full torags, and im not even trying it on most people with armor anywhere near that good. my best i hit on a 119 in dhide was 24/3 out of more then 10 spec's and i was super potted and praying. and no he didnt have pray melee on.
