The Buddha version of 'Carousel' by Blink 182 has an amazing bass intro. Not amazing in the way that it's really hard to play but just simple and very effective. This song made me like the band, listen now.

I'm pretty sure we have a favourite band topic but oh well. Band - Blink 182. Nothing seems to have compared to these since I got into em. Guitarist - Tom Delonge. The reason being, not that he writes amazing solo's and stuff, not that he's super talented, but he got me into music, he got me into playing guitar and he can turn a couple powerchords into a masterpiece.

I beg to differ. Have you ever heard of the Johnny Cash version of NIN - Hurt? Hell, that's just the same song, but it's performed in such a way that Cash brings it to an entire new level of meaning. Yea, but that's a cover. 'Changes' is just someone else's riff on his lyrics. But that could mean Johny Cash can't even write his own lyrics, so it must be bad in your logic. Tupac wrote the lyics and used the instrumentals, other artists do their moddified version of the instrumentals and use the lyrics. You're just talking crap. No, a cover is a cover. They still play the same notes on their guitar, they still play the same chords. 'Changes' is his lyrics on someone else's riff. That's unoriginal. If you're gonna write your own song, at least write your own riff for it.
