Well, got to sell the maples for 125 each. Now to sell those teak logs. Too bad I didn't take them out 2 days ago, eh?
Anyway, this opens up unique application of MTK. I'm gonna test out a couple of days. Here's my set-up
Day 1 - kill a subject to get 80% approval.
Day 2 - keep it at 80% (raise to 100%, kill a subject).
Day 3 - raise to 100%
Day 4 - Withdraw.
Now, that's 225k I would spend (3 days times 75k). I know how many coal and maples I should be getting if at 100%. If it's that much this day, then it's only the amount of money you pay subjects that's saved.
If so, you could put in 7.5 million, leave it for 30 days (don't even need to show up daily to raise approval). Come back, raise approval to 100% and wait for 1 more day (I think 10am GMT is the "gather" time for MTK).
am i missing something? why do you make it lower on purpose?

This is kinda related - if you put stuff in a prize chest, and nobody comes into the house, will it just stay there until you take it out or something?

I gave Runescape a break for a month just after the rune ess changes. As a result, I am a little confused about the prices, since I have seen everything from 15 ea to 30 ea. What is the 'going value' of normal rune ess? I would just like to know so I dont do anything stupid.
Pure Ess prices would be handy too.

Thats what I keep telling myself anyway! :)
Getting multiple exp from your bones (though ectofunctus is better).
It only really pays off at higher levels - eg teleports & barrow repairs. But I didn't make mine for money - it was for the clockwork toys :)

Noob question here - do gardens count towards the 20 room limit?
Anyway - great plan. I love the central courtyard idea, its rather like big Italian mansions with an interior courtyard (eg Venice - Doges Palace)

I never did understand how abbyss pking was profitable - wouldn't you keep the glory when you died?
but if there is danger of losing the glory, then this will be better.

wouldn't skill total be a better thing to compare to money? And what do you mean by 'average', cos the mean would not really be suitable.

I'm still f2p at the moment, but I'm using the oportunity to stock up. I have enough wet clay to get to lvl 19 by building fireplaces, and I am cutting oak trees ready to get to lvl 50. all in all I expect to spend around 500k.
This isn't ruining the merchants - its ruining the average player. Merchants can earn the money easily. I, with average stats, and about 1Mil in funds, will feel a big dent when I do it. But it will be fun, and free ingredients from the kitchen sounds good!

I have noticed similar things - Lesser demons seem to do less damage than Ice giants on me. It seems a bit, well, odd!

You can make them with POHs apparently.
I've just thought - this will give certain credibility to the armour trimming scam. Someone better warn F2P in case someone says they can give a crest to your rune shield, then runs off.

The worst bit has to be the cost. If it cost less to do then I'd be renewing my mebership like a shot. As it is I'm torn - it looks awsome, but the immense cost is a bit off-putting. My funds are just over 1M, and I don't like the sound of 800k to just get lvl 33, cos I'd at least want to get the altar room.
The normal planks that this takes for low lvl stuff - are they the ones you can pick up in the wildy and the Barbarian Outpost?
EDIT: I just worked out that if you made oak chairs all the way to lvl 45 it would cost 260k. I know that they are lvl 19, but it seems a bearable amount of money to spend, as a general guide.

Will the normal rune ess be cheaper to buy on p2p or f2p? I have a plan to make tons of air runes, since its the quickest RC money on f2p.

Aah...I see. Good experiment then. I'm also glad to see that the rewards have improved a lot since I last visited. 97ish for each piece of coal seems very nice, thank you very much!
