If your gonna add pures then hell , I have had a rune pure since very early in the game. Still has 0 prayer, range, magic exp.

Alot of the names I see listed by people can NOT be considered a "legend" of Runescape seeing as half of them have only been around HALF of the time the game has been out. Stakers , not legends seeing as staking was not even considered until dueling came out , which was long into the game. Bug abusers I would not consider legends either , Zar Family , Muhahaha , WDB and many others. They used bugs or programs to become good fighters. Anyone could do that why would that make someone a legend? To become a legend in some way you must have impacted things in a positive manner. Duriel NOT a legend , well known , but surely no legend. Popularity does not make a legend either. Yes my name is on Leos legend list , but hey that is what he thought. And also what others have said before as well. I am one of the forgotten legends as is Phillip. ( we miss ya Phil ) There are also alot of other people who can be considered legends that aren't listed there but they are those quiet ones that stayed out of the limelight.

as someone who has been on top of the ranging world for a long time now. This update to me is kinda useless. The bows hit way too slow , the effect is way to random. Not a very good training method due to how slow it is. Not very good for pking cause of how slow it is and the randomness of the specials. In the time it takes to get off 4 shots you have been hit by a full spec bar from a dds , hit 3 times by a whip , or frozen. Yes you get to hold a shield with it YAY.

iron dragons dropped 5 addy bolts for me , and rune limbs so far

they were easy to kill , 90 def and a SD pot and I would go in there with 15 monkfish and totally fill up on claws , having to eat food for the space. BUT if they are gonna drop the rate of claws which is the reason ppl would go there , increase the drop rate of something else to make up for it. Otherwise this will be just another thing for ppl to kill once for the quest and leave them be :shame: :shame: BAD JAGEX! :shame: :shame:

I myself was just there yesterday and it wasn't like this

I just went to kill some gorak for claws and I noticed some BIG changes to them since like a day or 2 ago. they no longer drop claws 100%!! they seem to hit harder and more often. Anyone else notice this change?

Runescape did NOT start in 1999 hate to tell you. the original release to the public was jan 4 , 2001. anything before that were a select few that know the gowers personally or from CW.

which is exactly why I started RSD those many moons ago. btw Hey Mullein! :D I got tired of the attitudes that grew with clans myself. Being the founder of a clan that has become as great as RSD did makes me proud to be known as the founder , BUT all the childish actions that came with it grew old. When I started RSD it was supposed to be a "family" type of envirnment. And it was for a while till clans became "the way to go". These days I remain clanless due to the fact I don't play as often as I used to and also the fact of the BS that comes with it. "so and so clan are noobs" "pwned". acts of a childish mentality over a game and pixels. I know it is "part" of the game but I think alot of people lost the fun aspect of it long ago. For example: I won't mention names on this one. Clan leader A spies on clan B's forums to get pk times and such. Where is the fun in the outcome of that? ok now you know clan B is going out with 30 people on a pk , so you mass a group of 60 to kill em all. 2:1 odds there gee wonder what will happen. pathetic.

come on drave not mentioning bk?..Considering ive fought and seen fight all the clans on ur list I'd have to point out that the razors and the messiahs aren't really in the same class as the rest of the clans in ur list. The messiahs were just annoying * and the razors weren't anything spectacular, they didn't really have significant staying power. The only thing special about those 2 clans is they were 2 of the first pking clans to die out within a short time period :P...theres no justification for putting the messiahs and razors over any clan like say exer, mi, or say tds other then the fact that they just happened to be in the very early periods of rs as opposed to later down the road. (and ps..the sabres were plenty strong..creating a new char back then didnt really mean anything as we werent that high anyway..and alot of ppl thought it was cool to have the name of ur clan in ur char name and loyality/publicity was increased...the name thing has only been a problem from about the foundation of the wilderness on..when the sabres went downhill lol) I highly disagree with you there Orb. Messiahs DOMINATED the sheep fields and scorp pit in the early days of RS. As far as the razors they were a force early on in wilderness as far as pking went. and if you didn't read all my post "May be more I have forgot since it has been a LONG time now. But " BK was good in thier time I admit. but never left a strong impression on me. Since I don't play anymore I could care less about "orb ftw" darkemporor or whoever you are ( ya who the hell are you btw? ) unless you have something of the least bit of intelligence to say ... :wink:

alot of the people voting here on the "greatest" of all time have not even been around long enough to vote on alot of these clans. Knowledge is the key here. 'The' - Amassed numbers from the fact they brought members to RS from Cyber Wars. Messiahs - Incredible in thier time for their ranged tactics when pking was "anywhere" in early RS time. Gladz - Another clan to amass great numbers at an early time. Wanderers - In the beginning they had almost ALL the highest lvl players and had the strength. Sabres - Another to come from Cyber Wars. Increased thier numbers fast. But not the "strongest" in the early times cause of the fact you had to start a new character with the name "Sabre" in it. RSD - What can be said about RSD. We rocked the clan world hard and fast. Jaguars - Had thier moments of strength had thier weaknesses too. Razors - Another pure kill em all pking group in the begining. May be more I have forgot since it has been a LONG time now. But LONG LIVE THE CLANS OF OLD! When being in a clan meant something and not someone to cry to when you died!
