  1. nothing is ever too late! :D It's a good idea.. I *suppose* that may be true, and I don't mind the idea. But I'm still on the fence. I will say this. Notice how you can do anything you want in RS, no matter which skill you trained first. You become a mage, you work it up to level 75, you get tired of it. Now, you can become a ranger, warrior, miner, etc., and there's no disadvantage because you started with mage. My point is that you can do one thing or everything, no matter when. So, I would have to assume with this race thing that you could change back and forth whenever you wanted, similar to changing your sex/clothing with the makeover mage. lpinkus I would hope it would be *alot* of money to change your race more than once... and increase in cost every time :P
  2. Oh really? Care to enlighten us with verse references?
  3. Nah, but I remember you used normal chat to pm people. For example: tell username hello And this "tell" feature would deliver the message.

Probably some SUVs or Hummers, and people buy them because they're so concerned about safety. Ironically almost everyone has bought them so when you crash it's most likely going to be against a huge vehicle that makes it all the same in the end...
  5. It's worth it. I managed to pull it up to a B, and this is just mid-quarter, so I still have around 4 more weeks to get it to an A :P Depends what grade you're in :P

The irony of this, is that with the damage hurricane Katrina caused - nothing should affect gas prices until about a month from now. They just raised prices in anticipation of petrol going up in price in a month. The funny thing is, when the refineries down south start functioning again, I really really doubt that they'll lower prices in anticipation of petrol going down :P likely they'll say that they have to wait until it gets cheaper - so they'll get an extra month of huge profit in. And for the Europeans telling us not to complain - first, I'm not complaining :P and second, I believe that Canadian cities are a bit further apart from Euro cities. In fact, I need to drive 25-30km one way to get to most of my friend's houses ;). And I live in one of the most densely populated areas in Canada as well :|.
  7. Lol, ironically political correctness is always in favour of a minority group. So for the first time, when a majority group asks for something, they get flamed out of the water. Interesting...
  8. I like playing acoustic waaaay better than electric :) It's a Fender "GA45SCE" heh. It's got a super nice, bright sound, that's apparently really hard to find in an acoustic. It's a concert series, and apparently it's resell value was almost always double what you pay at the store - until they realized it and jacked the price :P so I got it from the store before they jacked the price, so if I ever resell (fat chance though), I'll get a nice profit out of it. It's got a really thin neck, which is really nice after you get used to it, since you dont' have to move as far to hit the different strings - makes picking easier *after* you get pretty good at hitting the right strings ;). Slap harmonics work pretty good, and meh, I could talk for a while, but whatever - it's a nice sounding guitar, and it looks pretty sweet too ;)
  9. I'd give you a detailed account, but you'd think I was schizophrenic or something... Basically, I believe I will spend eternity with my Lord Jesus Christ ;) in Heaven - no idea what it will be like, but I'm expecting it to be super-sweet.
  10. Please, if you're posting something - make sure it's your own, original work.
  11. In my grade twelve calculus exams & tests counted for 90% overall. OMG that would be sooo hard. I have the same as AD, but All grades have it. No, no, I liked it that way - this way your mark is totally objective - nothing the teacher can change/screw up on - it's either right or wrong. That's why I hate English class... so subjective.

I'm not a big fan... but I really like(d) the song "it's a great day to be alive" by Travis Tritt. I think it's the only country song I ever liked.
  14. Good point. The clan and quest ideas, forbidden locations, all sound like awesome tie-ons to the races :D
  15. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20050805/ts ... tainmentus Note the "FICTION-novel". And you haven't shown me how Christianity is screwed up, but don't. You seem quite incapable of stringing a valid argument together, but if you do manage to make one, please pm it to me. I am interested (honestly) in how it is screwed up, in your eyes. And I don't even want to know what you meant by your last statement...
  16. It's all true?? You my friend, provided no shred of proof or evidence for anything that you said - and most of what you said didn't even make sense. Honestly, if you believe all of that (much of which weren't even stances, they were random comments that went nowhere)... I don't even know what to think. Sir, by your post, I believe that you think that you are the greatest thing ever. You call us arrogant, yet your post was the only arrogant thing in this entire thread. LOL you didn't even spell ChristIAnity right. Even if it was spelt that way, no shred of proof for what you claim it means. (just using one of his ridiculous beliefs, can' be bothered to waste any time reading the others again - they just blow my mind, in a bad way).
  17. You made it seem like saying "omg" would put you in hell - which is not the heart of Christianity. And I didn't really twist your words did I o_O? It doesn't matter how the phrase is used, it's putting his name, in vain. It's disrespectful, and that's what I was getting at. Whether people think they're taking it in vain or not, using that phrase, is taking it in vain.
  18. Do note that most of the people who say "OMG" happen to be christian themselves... It's irrelevant. They're just being ignorant. If there is a Lord, a God - I think it would be in your best interests not to insult him. Yeah, I guess - but keep in mind 'gosh' is just a form of "God", and both mean the same thing. Unless there's another meaning for the word gosh... but I can't think of one. Who's to say they're not? Either way, putting any god's name in vain, is disrespectful to whatever religion it coheres to. I know the author was speaking about Christianity in specific, but a general point could be made here. That's fairly selfish. Just because it doesn't affect you, doesn't mean you can use it however you want - it affects others, and it just isn't kind to ignore that. I see no problem with removing a phrase that offends people - it's not like atheists actually get anything out of using it, and so I wouldn't see a problem with taking it out - since the phrase has no positive practical uses anyways. I guess you really don't know much about Christianity (judging by this post) - so I guess you shouldn't make flippant remarks out of ignorance. Apparently atheists using his God's name in vain is trashing his God/religion, and I agree with him. He's not showing weakness at all, he's taking a stand for his beliefs - something that rarely happens nowadays. He stated nothing about him having trouble following his religion.
  19. Heh, it was worse when pking worked that way - you could attack anyone within 5 combat levels of you (though combat levels weren't shown), as long as you weren't in lumbridge, and as long as there were no guards present. I had no idea what the 'pk/non-pk' button was... I didn't even know what player killing was at the time, so I just clicked it twice in a row, and I was stuck as a pker for the rest of the time :P so mining coal... oh! I'm dead. ;)
  20. Not sure if this has been mentioned before - but I'd sure rather walk around as an archer, if I were an elven character (or dwarves, goblins, etc), rather than a human... maybe a makeover mage feature? Or maybe it'd be too confusing being able to change your race whenever you wanted :P Although, they could implement it like the old pking system (like in the first year of the game) - you can change from pk to non-pk, or you can change race twice, and then you're stuck! Any ideas, improvements, flames?
  21. Again, outkast rose is level four, they posted it on rate-this.
  22. Possibly, but if his/her computer is going to get "100% lagged" from a webpage and an ad, then it's going to get lagged from actually playing the game ad-free - or the game with any minor ad. I also believe that the ads on the main page are the same as ingame? At least the top, horizontally-spaced ones anyways.
  23. Being a member, there shouldn't be any ads for you to report?
  24. Whoo, hi Dempzie! :D
