  1. Same here, though I'd say I'm in my social slump now, and it has nothing to do with depression - just that all my good friends are off to their universities in different parts of the province and there's only two or three of us left here, and so we only hang out 2 nights/week. Again, no slump at all, that's just the closest thing I've got.
  2. I really have no idea. I'm not sure what you mean, either. Do you want to know what runescape runs better on? Or (I'm not sure if you are) would you want to compare between a Mac running on the new intel chips and macs running on (older) powerpc chips? Or between 'normal' pc's and macs? Or...? Kinda having to do with Mac moving to intel. I'm just curious, no practical matters here. Are they moving over *just* for Windows compatibilitty? And will the new Macs use two processors, or will MacOS run on Intel as well? And if MacOS does run on intel, will it run faster than on a PowerPC?
  3. Right, so another thing - are the PowerPC processors superior to Intel? I know the "speed" is less, but does that matter?
  4. Just wondering how to compare these. How are processor speeds related (PowerPC vs. Intel), how is RAM related, are the PowerPC chip speeds "slower" because Macs use it more efficeintly, etc? Just curious.
  5. Meh, his point stands :P
  6. So that when someone posts a link to a "picture" that is really an executable, people that randomly click links will have a harder time blaming tipit for not warning them ;). Also - fwiw, the *[Caution: Executable File] is wdfmgr merc.
  7. I'm happy with how the Canadian-based teams are doing (even though every team is about 50% Canadian )...
  8. Welcome back.
  9. Hmm, maybe certain people feel screwed because they bought a Nano while the new "I-pod" with video etc. is comming out soon aswell, therfore they grabbed the keys too their house and started abusing the I-pod Nano to sue the company and get money for a new I-pod. :D Something you're not telling us...? ;) Nah, I really hope people don't/didn't do that...
  10. I respect those able to keep their banks small :) Like gasheart... when he/she was at their richest (or close to it) - their bank only had about 3 lines worth of items? It was incredible...
  11. I softly disagree with this group or policy. I got a call from some guy at statscan (Statistics Canada) and he had me take a phone survey. He couldn't read English, whenever he read "provincial deficit", he said "provincial deflect"... yeah... but if they didn't hire him, they'd get a slue of "Omg!!11!1 The Canadian government is full of bigots!!". So needless to say I just gave random answers for the entire survey :P
  12. I hate lawsuits...
  13. Yea, that's my view exactly. But for formalities' sake: I do not buy my iPod music from iTunes.
  14. IMO, you don't want to dry it ;) moisture is good in a cheese, actually, at most stores with a deli you can buy Swiss cheese at a certain moisture percentage, as some people consider some moisture contents better than others... drying it would only screw up the composition? Kind of like dehydrated milk and stuff... it's just not right :P You *can* buy pregrated parmesan... but that's probably not of the highest quality, plus I hate buying predone stuff... I like making from scratch.
  15. Amen, amen.
  16. Nope, I just unlocked my door after I came home from school one day and dreamt this amazing thread up :P (honestly)
  17. Srry to say but your friends are really dumd than  . Nah, they've never been robbed :P I live in quite the crime-free area.
  18. Right, even though some (or most) his evidence is fudged, at least he backs up what he says. Unlike you.
  19. Yea it was, and the footage was probably pretty selective ;) It's pretty funny though, he's walking around Toronto into random people's houses with a camera and saying "just checking"... heheh
  20. Meh, I guess, but what's it to JaGex :P It's not like they'll make any more money off of it.
  21. ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâè Yeah, I was gonna ask that too :o I live in Canada, :) I consider my dad paranoid for locking the doors are night.
  22. Just curious who "trusts" the outside world when they're away ;) For my house, our doors are unlocked when we're not home, but at night and when we're at work/school during the day, the doors are locked. If my dad is the only one home and he leaves for 10mins, he'll lock there door, whereas if I am home alone and leave for an hour, I'll leave it unlocked. However, I have friends that leave their doors unlocked even when they go on vacation. Where do you stand? :)
  23. Insane might not be but I certainly will. No no, I will ;) I completely agree with you. What I also don't understand is games on a graphing calculator. Seems like an oxymoron to me :P
  24. Use of a calculator often negates knowledge of the concept.
  25. I did 4 Unit maths at my school, a selective private school, one of Sydney's best schools, and we never used graphing calculators.. What kind of classes were they? Odd that you never used any graphing calculators. Maybe it's an American thing to use the calcs. It would be consistent with the posts in this topic if it were true.
