Oh I forgot about this till now: Anyone know if there are language barriers in this game like WoW, or can both factions talk?

SomethingAwful forum members. :P Goons in MMOs go pretty far back (there is, or has been, a goon guild in basically ever MMO made - even Runescape. The Goonfleet's influence in EVE Online is apparently huge). To get an idea of what they're like check out the raid-encounter videos, where they talk about everything except the actual encounters. The guilds are usually known for being hated in most MMOs they play since they troll and make fun of everyone not in the guild. Really great guilds to be a part of though as they're very nice and helpful to people in it, they also have a knack for advancing fast in MMOs, and the guild chat is never dead (at least wasn't in WoW). There are guilds at the aiononline forums that'll roll Asmo just so they can kill us. And the game hasn't even hit open beta yet. Tres fun! You have to pay to be part of the guild and forums though, right :(

That is probably the Asian servers. I know WoW did something similar where they charged for hourly time cards and not per month time cards. America and Europe probably will work on 15ish dollars a month. Probably is. Not for the reason that it will be sold out, but for the reason that you get good stuff with the Collectors edition.

Taishou Yakyuu Musume is a good one but it's only 7 episodes in and TMoHS is also airing it's second season if you didn't know. :wall: Ya so I watched some of those too this afternoon, then there was one episode that seemed to repeat. Then another.... oh god, so I went on wiki and read up on the episodes. That is a terrible idea for a tv show. I would hate if I had to watch all those episodes as they came out and considered 'new'. One or two episodes of almost the same thing would of been fine. BUT EIGHT?!!!

Just got finished watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and K-ON. Can anyone recommend anything like them or Lucky Star. I like those "Slice of Life" Type Animes. (Oh and the video reminds me of something I could be listening to on the 4chan TF2 server for a whole map, so it doesn't bug me :P )

All the highborne are either B-elves or Naga now, so this would be weird. Nelf Mages don't make sense technically from past lore because they swore off magic after the events of the sundering. Although all those classes use mana, none of the druid classes actually use any magical energy.

Yes and no. It's a no no to the current lore, but I'm sure changes like these will be explained, thus new and updated lore is created. And no I don't mean "This didn't happen, this did instead," but, "This is why this happened from current events." :| Horrible update. Broke the 4chan server so now we cant play sounds and mods/admins have no powers.

I have actually had a few great conversations, but the anonymous nature for the site makes it unsettling to make it anything more then a 10 minute talking relationship. It just feels so.... open. So must of the time "A wild Abra appears." Silly people must use masterballs or freeze me.

The new BG is actually pretty good and can be really challenging at times depending on how good your team is. Some battles last 10 minutes, some 40 minutes. Although I don't suggest redoing your account right now due to portal bosses.

Mostly games all day, but work and regular outings (not even sports, just outings like hikes or going for walks) keep me in an acceptable shape.

It just made me angry because, forgetting about my performance for a moment, I'm one of those guildies who is consistent, reliable, willing to do anything to see the guild move forward, but none of it matters when it comes down to the rulebook. [bleep] me dead, I logged in last night because a bunch of raiders wanted boots made (I've been lucky with Uldy LW patters, lol). I always disappear randomly from my guild in WoW. They'd see me on every day and then one day I just won't log onto vent or in game anymore. Just hate dealing with the backlash "omg we gave you this loot and you leave wtf??". They already gave me the same [cabbage] when I was rejoining earlier this year. Loot rules always seem so ridiculous to me. It's in my state of mind that if you helped kill a boss, you should get a share pass at the loot. I'm sure most of you are going to disagree with me. Nadril, if you join back up, and maybe feel like learning how to tank, you can come to my guild :P We are uber laid back and are looking for backup tanks cause I'm really the only consistent one.

LG keybo 2? I was looking at it today cause the Telus rep came in. Looks ok, but the design bugs me a bit cause it looks a bit too much like a black berry.

It'll be on PS3 but I don't know... :| Yeah, I'm hoping it's going to be free since it's on the PS3, though I'd be rather disappointed if it wasn't. Definitely wont be free. FFXI isn't free, yet its on the Xbox 360 and Ps2. And Nadril, I doubt there will be much pvp. SE seems intent on keeping things more "Work together to take out the bad guy" And don't want to do factions.

Mine is the LG Keybo: (I'm with Koodo though, not Telus) I prefer the flip style phone to the slider or bar style due to quality and compactness. The flip phone's space can be utilized better then a bar, and slightly better then a slider. Plus if I drop it and the outer portion is damage, it is still usable on the inside. Working with cell phones it is interesting to see the different phones and what they do.

Well I don't pay attention to DPS class spells cause as a tank all I care is if they are damaging the enemy. I looked at scorch through and it says it is a single cast with a 1.5 second cast time that does direct damage. So I'm wondering why there is stacks? Edit: Nvm, a talent that causes it to make stacking debuffs. All I can ask is: What is the total raid DPS difference on a boss if everyone is stacking this spell compared to if only one is.
