So if 5 people with about 3 posts said "omg is great 1000/10" and 1 person with say 1500 posts said "I don't like it 4/10" - who are you going to listen to? 5 newbs or 1 veteran. Assuming neither are experienced. When I post a signature wanting C/C, I don't want to see if that's what they like... I like to be different, there's no point just doing the same as everyone else, it can look like you copy them and be unoriginal. Remember my lens flare signature? I've never seen anyone else do that, my current signature - seen other people take that shape and those effect? I haven't. Being an individual makes it easier to be noticed. Take a look around, do you like people who do the same type of signatures as everyone else, or ones who are different? the 'veteran' could have posted in RS related sections, and the noobs could be like, the worlds leading graphic artists. post counts mean nothing, i thought som1 as experienced as urself would be above 'noobs and vets' and 'post counts'

i looked at it and went 'oh wow, another noob who takes pictures and asks us to rate them' and then when i found out its a prog u used on the comp i was like wth.... this is just amazing, genius in its purest form. i knew the protest was by students, but i thought it was against some law the chinese passed or something, limited their rights, and the chinese are dictatorship (or something like it, as there is only allowed to be 1 political party) and they killed / arrested the protestors. ive never actually seen the guy in front of the tanks, but i always had. my dad said when the tank turned he turned with it etc, that was 1 damn brave man. i want to see a video of it

just wanted to say thats not trew, It all depends on the placement of the light altough if the light commes from begind u are mostly a silouet if there isn't light comming from infort of u as well... don't believe look at this here the problems is he pillow shades ... the pixel has no texture no clean lines no anatomy no good shading no background and i can't believe u spend 40 minutes on this ... he didnt shade at all, he just done light coloured linework and paintbucketed inside em with darker colours if u measure someones head then fit it into their body down to their feet, the average guy has 6.5 to 7.5 heads in his body.

that WAS C/C - it told u whats wrong with it, and frankly i agree. and in ur first post u didnt take ur work seriously which makes me think u didnt even try, and that u knew it was bad if it doenst look good, it, well, doesnt. did u think it looked great when u finished it?

+1 :wink: All joking aside, I completely agree with you cad. Arctic is right too. I see too many "rate plz" posts. Ratings, at least to me, seem dependant more on the persons likes and dislikes as art and less on the actual method used to get the effect. i ask for rates because it shows if people like it or not, and i make the things i make so that ppl can look at it and say 'hey, thats nice to look at' so rates for me shows whether im on the right track ;o anyway, just thought id ptu that in -weeb

exactly what i thought when i seen it. all of his sigs seem to take hours (according to him ;o) i think he probably took awhile messing with bevel and emboss settings and stuff for the rings, and maybe maniping te pictures a bit. -Weeb
