  1. I usually just tele out after I'm done with my tasks. At the moment I'm camping at dust devils for exp and charms - I hate logging off because I have to go through the same ordeal every time - "What if the next dusty drops a d chain...?" It's actually quite painful :x
  2. They may be close together, but they can become crowded at peak times in the day where as the dust devils in the smoke dungeon are hardly ever crowded (I've only ever seen one other person down killing them with me!)
  3. Nice guide - 8/10 Things to think about including: Charms - in the pictures you show you didn't keep them - if you were to keep the charms how many would you get either an hour or per 1k kills (something along those lines) Where to kill - you said to kill them in the smokey well dungeon but is there a certain place within the dungeon that you'd recommend? Mud Staff - I might have missed it but I didn't see you mention anything about the mud staff to help you with bones to peaches - It can save you 1-2 inventory spots and, in my opinion, is very useful! Again, nice job with this guide!
  4. If you place the logs in the beacons and leave them there for a while (half an hour or more) without lighting them, will they disappear? Seems like that would make it too easy but hey you never know...
  5. Ohh ya...Runescape on a console sure would be fun! Push up button. Press X. Press up button. Wait. Push down button. Push Y to bank. Repeat. Woop-de-doo!
  6. For lighting 6 beacons at once, you get the Ring of Fire (I'm not sure what it does yet, but I'm off to try and figure it out!) EDIT: Looks like the Ring of Fire gives slightly more exp for every log you burn (I burned one normal log and got 41 exp instead of 40). I also burned a few willows and got 91.8 exp instead of 90.
  7. I put down school - I've got a bit of summer work that I still have to do and my school's Rowing Club is starting to take up a lot of my time (2-4 hours every day).
  8. Too many glitches!!!!! My best guess is that the white line is from my Quest Cape stretching...not sure though.
  9. Hello guys! I'm getting very close to getting my first skill cape - the Fletching skill cape (check the signature for an on-going progress report)! Here are the details of the party: Date: Saturday, August 16th Time: 12:00 (noon) EST World: 70 Where to Meet: Magib1's house in Rimmington So if you have nothing else to do on the 16th, please come congratulate me on my achievement and have some fun in a great house! If you plan on attending, please say so here and I'll add you in-game and remind you about the party once the date gets a little closer :D
  10. Well if you really think about it one skill cape is just as easy to get as the next: You sit around for a really long time making the same clicks over and over and over again. What really bugs me is the lack of respect that the Quest Cape gets. If you think about it, the Quest Cape probably takes longer to get than any other Skill Cape in the game, yet it is one of the least respected capes. The fact that even Jagex doesn't consider it a "true" skill cape (it can't be trimmed and it doesn't trim your first level 99 cape) disgusts me. That said, I believe that the most impressive skill cape is the Quest Cape. Out of all of the level 99 skill capes, I respect the Agility skillcape for three reasons: 1. It takes a very long time to get. 2. You can't make any money what-so-ever off of agility. 3. The rewards for getting level 99 agility are basically non-existent. After level 70, there are hardly any shortcuts left worth unlocking which means 29 levels of training with little to no reward. Bravo to all those who have achieved either a Quest Cape or a level 99 Skill Cape!
  11. If you've read the Behind the Scenes article on the Runescape homepage for August, then you've most likely seen that there will be a Runecrafting Guild introduced this month. My question is this: What effect will the Runecrafting Guild have on the prices of runes? Will they skyrocket or fall? Will there be any impact at all? And if the prices do change, will this cause a change in the price of essence/pure essence? Feel free to discuss and put in your ideas on this subject ^_^
  12. Very well thought out and written - it's obvious that you've spent a lot of time on this! I support this idea 100%! But I still have one question: Would the artifacts for the skill related treasure such as the handle shards be stackable items or not?
  13. Seems like this could get very confusing...as is, each skill cape has its own definitive color and trim color. If people started making their fletching capes look like prayer capes, it would become much more difficult to tell what cape is for what skill... Sorry, but I don't support this idea.
  14. Eek! My friend's robin has holes in it  Also, the Grim Reaper Hood is stretching during emotes...
  15. I had to do about 55 trips, but my luck was awful. Expect to do at least 25 trips before you get the full set :)
  16. This is one of my favorite outfits - I use it a good deal while skilling. I personally like it for a two reasons: 1. I just think it looks cool, and 2. It shows off many of my accomplishments and stats. So, what do you think about it? And on as a side note, here are my stats (all are 61+ :))
  17. Note: I have copied this idea off of the Runescape Official Forums (it was written by myself there originally). You can view this suggestion on the Official Forums here: http://[Please Use QuickFind Code].com/c=6c4be568/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?24,25,188,57339023,goto,1 This thread will discuss the possible implementation of a ballista into the mini-game Castle Wars. Firstly, to understand this suggestion, it is important to know what a ballista is. Ballistas are essentially massive crossbows mounted on the ground that fire large projectiles such as giant steel "arrows". Ballistas were often used in the medieval times for large battles. So how would a ballista tie in with Castle Wars? Well, it's quite simple really - the introduction of a ballista into castle wars would introduce a new and exciting dimension to the mini-game, changing it forever! Ok, so how would said ballista work, and what would it do? The ballista would fire a giant steel "arrow" across the battlefield. The "arrow" could be obtained from a table on the first floor of either castles where all of the other Castle Wars supplies currently are. However, because this "arrow" is so large, it is only possible for a player to carry one at a time. In order to fire this "arrow", the ballista would have to be both loaded and have its firing mechanism wound tight. The ballista would be a 2-player operated machine. One player would be in charge of aiming and shooting the massive steel "arrows", while the second player would be in charge of reloading the ballista and winding the firing mechanism. The higher the ranged level of the player firing the ballista, the more accurate the projectile would be. The higher the strength level of the player winding the firing mechanism, the more damage the projectile would do if it made contact with its intended target. So what would be its intended target? The enemies' castle walls! Each ballista successfully fired into a section of the enemies' castle wall would cause that section of the wall to crumble slightly. If enough "arrows" were shot into a section of wall, that piece of the wall would collapse completely, at which point players on both teams could climb up and over the destroyed wall. Ok, great. So we have a bunch of destroyed walls...what now? Well, if you can destroy something than you have to be able to repair it, right? A whopping 3 more supplies tables would have to be added to the supply rooms in each castle to serve the purpose of providing supplies for repairing damaged castle walls. One table would contain hammers, another would have swamp paste, and a third would have stone blocks. The overall status of the castle wall would also be displayed in the lower-left hand corner along with the status of all of your other team's assets, such as the door strength and catapult functionality (or lack there of). At any time, it would be possible for a player to gather some stone blocks, swamp paste, and a hammer and go repair their castle walls. However, if at one some point in the game a wall becomes extremely damaged, it will become impossible to walk across from on top of the wall (if you took the stairs up onto the wall but there was a damaged section cutting the wall into two halves, you couldn't get across to the other side by walking along the wall). However, ropes could still be thrown up onto the wall to create new points of entry onto your castle's wall even if sections of it are damaged. Another impact of the ballista's missile would be on player's health. If a player was too close the the point of impact of the ballista (for example, if they were standing on the section of wall that the missile hit, or if they were running past the wall as the missile hit) pieces of shrapnel (stone shards) would deal damage to them. However, this could happen to both allied and enemy players, so be careful! The closer a player is to the site of impact of the missile, the more damage they will take form the impact of the missile. Like the catapult, the ballista would be made out of an extremely flammable material: wood. It would be possible for the ballista to be destroyed by an enemy either using explosive potions on it or by using a tinderbox on it. Again, like the catapult, the ballista can be easily repaired by a player using toolbox on it to repair the ballista. Keep in mind that, while the ballista would do a great deal of damage to the enemy, it takes a long time to reload and fire, and is therefor vulnerable to attack for long periods of time! The ballista would also open the door for new Castle Wars reward items that would help with either increased winding ability of the firing mechanism (for increased damage upon impact), as well as a device to increase accuracy when firing the ballista so as to hit your intended target more often. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Credits: Magib1 (for the idea of the ballista) Breakfastguy (for all his ideas on the uses, effects, and possibilities of the ballista) Supporters: - - - - - -
  18. Hmm...something tells me door hot-spots shouldn't be showing up in my house when I'm not in building mode -.- The hot-spot goes away if you open up the dungeon door - strange :geek:
  19. Thanks for putting up that list of updates Vincent! And by the way that's not my house - my house has an Armillary Sphere in it :P
  20. At the moment when you do the Strength Cape emote the weight that falls down is invisible! I forgot to get a screenie though #-o
  21. No wonder I got such a good deal on this mask - it disappears! :o
  22. Ok one more thing :P It would be helpful if you could put the time it takes to complete each obstacle into this guide. You could either give each obstacle a "timing rating" or you could just put down how many seconds or tenths of a second it takes to complete the obstacle. For the blade's time, if I were you I would put down the amount of time it takes to run over the blades, and then separately put down the amount of time that the blade spins (as you would have to wait for the blade to spin if you took this obstacle). Just an idea!
  23. It seems that Rick Turpentine's mask has taken a serious beating over the years! And here's yet another house-multi-floor-something-went-horribly-wrong-ahhhhhh glitch!

  25. Here's a relatively minor one: In the POH (Player-Owned House) Workshop, the saw hanging from Tool Store 1 has no blade!
