  1. I've noticed these in my house too. My best guess is that they're supposed to be meant for holding rugs or something. They seem to only appear for me in rooms where I can but a rug but haven't (i.e. Skill Hall). However, I've also found little [bleep]es sticking out of the floor in my Throne Room - I have no clue why these are here :wall:
  2. I think that this might actually be intentional - I believe that Jagex meant it to be fire, although they executed this desire very very poorly -.- Also I found another glitch in the POH that has to deal with furniture showing through floors: Here is a picture of the glitch. Beneath the Study is a Bedroom: Hmmm....the Culprit: The Gilded Wardrobe from the room below shows through the ceiling and up into the Study above
  3. Here are some that I haven't seen posted yet: It is possible to walk through Wooden doors in a POH (Player-Owned House)! While I haven't seen a Dragon Scimitar go through a wall yet, I have seen other swords go through walls! Even though we all know that penguins are the true hidden masters of Runescape, possessing power which we know nothing of, I don't think that anyone knew that these little fuzzy creatures could walk on water! And I got confirmation on my previous post about the Quest Cape running/walking glitch: Your back will not show through the Cape when you are walking or running, but it will show through slightly if you are standing still!
  4. Remember to keep on topic guys :shame: : Also: I've heard it rumored that when you walk while wearing a Quest Cape and walking/running a portion of the cape will disappear revealing your lower back (unconfirmed)!
  5. Well I found another one: When you go into any of the pools at Oo'glog while wearing a Spottier Cape (only one that I've tried it with) a hole appears in your cape revealing your back!
  6. Another one that my friend showed me: When you use your Home Teleport Spell (at least on Ancient Magicks) while wearing Dragon Boots, your Boots will "fuse" together!
  7. Ok, I just finished moving all of the pictures that were separated from the original post suggesting them to the first thread - thanks for the pictures everyone, and keep 'em coming! Just a note - any pictures that aren't in the first post are there because the pictures are with the original post that suggests them - I only moved the ones that weren't with their suggesting post so as to eliminate the need to flip between pages to figure out what the glitches are! : jcfc - that's an amazing screenie! I checked out my dungeon and it turns out I have two lovely strips of grass growing out of my walls  It kind of detracts from the spooky nature of the dungeon just a bit! ;)
  8. Ooo so it's not just limited to fishing! Cool! Oh, and if anyone happens to have a screenie of a previously mentioned glitch that doesn't have a screenie feel free to post it and I'll add it to the first post!
  9. Thanks for taking the time to go back and check it out! It sounds like a hilarious glitch!
  10. It's interesting that it still displays as a gold trim in the Equipment Interface :| And thanks for including a screenie! \ :
  11. Changed that in the first post. Thanks for the correction and confirmation! :
  12. Jondea0 - firstly  Secondly, I've noticed that the same thing happens when you're fishing with either an Obsidian Cape or a Spottier Cape on - when you bend down to to fish a section of your cape will disappear and be replaced by your booty  Edit: Added this glitch with a screenie to the first post!
  13. With the release of the new High Definition Runescape comes the inevitable release of hundreds of different glitches in the new game mode. So, what glitches have you heard about/seen? If you have pictures feel free to put them up! I myself have seen 6 glitches so far: 1. When wearing an Obsidian Cape, clicking the Lumbridge Home Teleport spell will cause your cape to end up on top of your legs when yous it down. 2. In a Player-Owned House (POH) it is impossible to see certain objects a Quest Hall. So far I have been unable to see maps, portraits, landscapes, and Glory Amulets! 3. In the Throne Room of a POH, when you pull the lever to cause the trapdoor to open, the trapdoor opens but where there should be blackness (under where the trapdoor was) there is just normal tile! 4. When Fishing in full zamarok dragonhide armor, a red "spear" will come out of your back when you bend down to fish (I don't know if you have to have all of the armor on or just one part of it for this to occur)! 5. If you get the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Random Event and wait for Mr. Hyde to appear, his hands will be about three inches lower than the end of his sleeves. Also, when he goes to attack you his hands will fly about five feet backwards from where his body is! 6. When you fish while wearing an Obsidian Cape, when you bend down a portion of your cape will disappear showing off your lovely booty  I have heard of one other glitch so far: 1. If you put on a cavalier hat and then remove it you will no longer have any hair (thanks Ryuuka)! Glitches that have been in posts on this thread for which screenies have been found: (Image by Allbot - thanks!) (Image by Allbot - thanks!) (Image by Allbot - thanks!) (Image by chase_cool7 - thanks!) If you've seen or heard of any other glitches, post them here along with any screen-shots you might happen to have of them!
  14. I have found a mistake in the Tip.it Construction Tables: The Construction Tables state that you need level 75 Construction to build a Gilded Dresser (according to the in-game Construction skill guide it is also called a Gilded Mahogany Dresser). However, you only need level 74 Construction to build said Gilded [Mahogany] Dresser. Hopefully this will get fixed up :)
  15. Ohh wow... #-o I'm feeling pretty stupid right now...
  16. I have found a mistake in tip.it's construction tables, and I am wondering where I go to report the mistake. I've yet to find any thread or any "submit correction" button around the site. Anyone have an idea on how to submit the correction to the tables?
  17. Just another thing that you might want to add: Upon the completion of the quest Rocking Out, you gain free entrance to the Agility Arena, so you no longer have to pay the 200gp fee for entering and leaving. Personally, I fill up with 28 cakes and just eat one of them before I tag the second pillar in a row. This way I can stay "one cake longer" at the arena. However, you could also just leave one open space in your inventory for ticket collecting and fill up with agility potions/food in 27 slots :)
  18. Good Guide! However, please add in how many points it costs for one toadflax, one snapdragon, and one pirate's hook in the rewards menu!
  19. How do you make the white dye? I'm stuck on that part...
  20. You should also wear Penance Gloves if you have them. Also in the Wilderness Course cakes WILL protect over boots of lightness if you die. Not that they're hard to get back or anything - It's just annoying. Other than that very nice guide!
  21. I actually use a strategy that I have yet to see outlined by any guide, including yours. First off, I don't bother with anything but weight reducing gear and a bronze pickaxe (I figure if a PKer wants to kill me with teleblock armor isn't going to help me). I have my pouches and essence in my inventory, along with a house teleport tablet. After I've crafted my runes I teleport to my house and use the mounted glory amulet there to teleport myself back to edgeville. I've found this the safest, cheapest, and lowest-risk way to craft using the Abyss. Just wanted to point out a method that you missed :shame: Otherwise very nice guide
  22. March 31st, 2004: Runescape Behind the Scenes Updates: # Treasure hunt mini-game with a variety of rewards, including some new rare items. # Summoning spells - summon skeletons, demons, etc...! # A quest journal for you to read and recap what point you are up to in each quest. No more coming back to a quest after a break, and wondering what you are supposed to do next. # More pets and followers with different properties and abilities. # Special organised game events on holidays. # Many new monsters such as Orcs, Lizardmen and more. And are also planning on adding even bigger features, that really take advantage of our new engines abilities, such as: Player owned houses - Each player will be able to have their own unique house. Use the new carpentry skill to make new/rare things for your house. Using the farming skill to grow herbs and plants in the grounds of your house. Build your own private party areas and shop areas, and more! Clan support, to allow you to optionally form your own clans with your friends. Mutiplayer castle arena for massive team based wars! Randomly generated scenarios, where a new adventure is generated for you and your friends each time you go on it. Form an adventuring party and go on your own personal quest. The Treasure Hunt minigame (treasure trails) came out quickly and was a huge success. The same goes for the Quest Journal, Pets, and Holiday events. However, Jagex claimed that they would soon be coming out with the player-owned-houses and the carpentry (construction) skill. Unfortunately, it took them another 2 years to come out with that one. Note that Jagex also in the same update promised the Runescape community "Summoning spells - summon skeletons, demons, etc...!" Now if we go by the time it took for them to come out with construction, we might be waiting for a very long time. Here are my ideas on time it will take for Summoning to come out, and what the content of the new skill will be! Despite Jagex's promises to the Runescape community on March 31st, 2004, that the skill we now know as construction, accompanied with Player-Owned Houses, would be on its way very shortly, it took them almost 2 years to come out with the skill. What caused this massive wait for the game's many players? I am sure that it was very difficult to program in and to co-ordinate everything. What came out during the wait for those waiting for the new skill? Well, they got other skills - Slayer and Farming. But still no Construction! Now it is possible that this was just a fluke incident in which Jagex had run into unexpected difficulty, but I think not. On March 31st, 2004, Jagex also promised us the quick release of the skill Summoning, in which we could summon our very own demons and dragons! However, after 2 years, we have heard nothing more about the Summoning Skill from either Jagex workers, or from the Behind the Scenes articles. Now there are several conclusions that we can draw from this lack of response: 1. Jagex forgot about their previous guarantee of the Summoning skill (highly unlikely in my opinion due to the number of posts like this one appearing on their forumes). 2. The Summoning skill got pushed back in their releases (I believe that this might partially be the case, but for the reason that Jagex may have run into programming issues). 3. While they are working as hard as they can, it has turned out to be much more difficult than expected (my personal belief). I am sure that Jagex is working as hard as they can to bring us our summoning skill, but that still leaves us with the question: "how long must we wait?" Looking back to the past, we have seen Jagex deliver skills quite regularly. I think that we will not have to wait more than another 4-5 months at the most for our Summoning Skill to finally arrive! Now comes the question "What will Summoning bring with it? Will it be a costly skill like construction? Will the monsters we summon fight with us?" I do not believe that the monsters that we will be allowed to summon will be able to fight along side us, at least not in the wild or outside in the normal game world. I think that there will be an arena much like that of the Tzhaar fight pit in which people can take their summoned monsters to fight along side them for new weapons and armor. I also believe that these monsters will not be able to stay with you forever. I would not be surprised to see your summoning skill depleted over time as your summoned monster is with you, much like prayer depletes. However, unlike prayer, your Summoning skill should replenish itself relatively quickly (faster as you gain levels). As to the question of price, I believe that it will be a very pricey skill. I am under the impression that we will have to purchase certain items before we will be able to cast our summoning spells and bring powerful monsters to our side. I also believe that there will be numerous "non-combat" aids along with summoning such as the ability to summon a runner who will take items to your bank, or a few pieces of summoned food to heal you when your health is depleted. I am interested in hearing your takes on this matter, so please post any ideas, comments, or questions about my theories here! Thanks!
  23. Well this is exactly what I've been looking for for some time now. I'm going to do some before and after screenies of my bank if you want them for examples on your guide. Just to give you the picture - I have Earth tallys next to Dramen staffs next to fishing rods next to tinderboxes and enchanted gems...basically my bank's a mess. Let me know about the screenies - i'm magib1 in-game also!

  25. It was a very nicely written article, in my opinion. =D> I'm not quite sure how you're able to keep your skills so close...my skill's average deviation was a whopping 8.9  ...I prefer to keep skills in the same category closer together instead of all of my skills within a small range of each other. 8-)
