  1. Just finished playing through this quest on my new zerker pure in-the-making, and noticed a very slight but potentially confusing error in the TipIt quest guide for Tai Bwo Wannai Trio. In the Tips, tricks & notes section, the final point reads: "Players who have started Fairy Tale Part II can use Fairy Ring codes to quickly travel to Tiadeche and Tinsay. The closest codes are CKR and DKR, respectively." The code for Tiadeche is actually DKP, not DKR. Furthermore, the order of the codes is back-to-front, with respect to the order the brothers are listed in (i.e. DKP for Tiadeche, and CKR for Tinsay). This point should therefore read : "Players who have started Fairy Tale Part II can use Fairy Ring codes to quickly travel to Tiadeche and Tinsay. The closest codes are DKP and CKR, respectively." Thanks for the guide, and I hope my suggested correction will be helpful for other players in the future.
  2. Ah, quit the melodrama everyone. Sure, I hate these updates as much as anyone, but people are acting like its going to bring on the Apocalypse (in Runescape). The people that say they are quiting (quite a few, I grant you), will eventually be back. Kudos to Jagex for having the balls to take such a radical step. Enjoy your extra bankspace 8-)
  3. Just a small correction for your attention. Today while working through the Karamja Achievement Diary, I used Tip.It's excellent resources to brush-up on Karambwan fishing using a vessel. I noticed that the fairy ring codes quoted in the "Vessel" section of the Fishing skill guide (under the Basic Tools heading) were actually back-to-front. To quote this section: "Players who have at least started Fairy Tale Part II quest to access fairy rings, can use code DKP for the Karambwanji lake, and code CKR to reach the Karambwan fishing shore" It's actually CKR for the Karambwanji lake, and DKP for the Karambwan fishing shore. Only a minor correction I know, but consider me a perfectionist
  4. Are people really that impaitent? Why can't we just wait for the update without the million topics that stem from BTS? Anyway, about the price of the Darts, I'm assuming they will be better than rune knives, which are atleast 5k each. And, also assuming, the darts will be a lot harder to aqquire, so my guess is they will be well in excess of 10k each.
  5. youre level 99 and have 61 hp? :-k I like to mix offensive and defensive - I use torags plate and legs and everything else str boosting. He means he had 61 hits left after fighting the level 125 #-o
  6. Lol I don't think they do that type. NSS. Sorry but what's nss :$ ? If one of the s's stands for "sarcasm", then yes, that was one of my sadly obscure attempts to be sarcastic. No s*** Shirlock. And no, I wouldn't be caught dead in one.
  7. I love how you topics get view spammed like there's no tomorrow. Anyway, I personally can't see how you stand doing so much Agility with out turning into a brainless zombie (ever seen the WoW episode of Southpark? :P ) Good luck though, the end of the road isn't nearly in sight.
  8. but those are different. Attack and defense is like the cap is at 99. It just helps you a lot more as u get higher up. Prayer, it lasts longer. Fm, shade burning with mage logs isn't too low of a cap. Wc, that just gets faster so u can make more cash. People may say that with hunter it speeds up, but not as much as the other skills i mentioned Oh God, not this again . Next time try and read the responses before you post.
  9. When money is involved, everyone is going to "break the rules" at some point. Although it is their game so they can advertise all they want.
  10. No offence, but you sound so full of yourself it's unbelievable. In almost every single picture you say "I'm so good", "me ftw!" etc. That attitude really annoys me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Good luck though, your nearly there.
  11. Well at least attack and defence levels actually help past 70. Someone 99 attack can hit a lot more often than someone with 70, and someone with 99 defense is much better protected than someone with 70. The higher your prayer the more you get out of prayer pots, and the longer your prayer lasts, and with woodcutting you can cut logs faster. Firemaking... TBH that skill is so useless I don't know how you could impliment anything good for it. My point is, hunter is a skill in which levels don't affect your ability to catch things any better (that I have seen), so having the highest level hunter animal at 71 makes it a pretty shallow skill. You are missing MY point. I am not unaware of the benefits of higher levels in those skills, but that is not what I was saying. My point was the the Topic Creator was annoyed that the highest thing you can do in Hunter is 71, yet all the skills I listed are around the same. Don't they deserve higher level abilities before a new skill?
  12. My point was not the amount of updates, but the level required to use them. For Attack and Defense the highest level you need is 70, which is lower than the highest level Hunter ability. Woodcutting and Firemaking are only a few levels higher and Prayer is 60. They all deserve updates before Hunter.
  13. Woodcutting, Firemaking, Prayer, Attack and Defense all have a low finishing ability. Where are their updates? They have been out longer. But yes, Hunter does need an update.
  14. Depends on what you're doing. Your slayer outfit is going to be different to your PC outfit or your Castle Wars outfit.
  15. Obviously the 3/8 of it you have read wasn't the start where he very clearly stated he didn't write it. And it was a very good guide. He must of being doing this for a very long time.
  16. I think the defender is the most important job in terms of points. If your team has a good Defender then you get so many more points it's ridiculous.
  17. 1 damage could be the difference between a 10 million+ kill. On that basis I'm sure a lot of people would "risk" it.
  18. Not sure how you make them, but no you don't need them to bait chinchompas. You don't have to bait anything actually.
  19. Train slayer. With all the clue scrolls, rune drops and miscellaneous drops (granite mauls, whips etc) you will easily be able to make a profit. And you will find that most monsters have a safe spot somewhere so that isn't a problem. Plus it isn't as boring as camping at the same monster. A bit of variety is always good.
  20. You could have chosen an original subject. I mean, how many F2P woodcutting guides are there already? Needs some pictures of where to woodcut. An alright guide I suppose. Not the best but alright.
  21. Nice way to revive a dead guide =D> (sarcasm). Actually, I wouldn't even call this a guide seen as all it says is "take an axe, cut a tree". And if you looked at his sig you would see that his woodcutting is already 87, so that comment is completely invalid.
  22. Thank you very much for postin that, i will definately fix it, run it thru word and stuff like that. You said "other things" such as? Other then grammar i don't see any other mystakes, please let me know and i'll do my best to fix it. You arn't being rude but being very helpfull! oh and the 4 posts thing, yea i don't know what got into me O:) bye :uhh: Well, you should use "you" instead of "u". Not using a period at the end of a sentence. Also, capitalise the I's. That's all I can see that I didn't say before.
  23. AoW guides have to be of a certain standard, and I'm afraid your's isn't. Oh, the content is fantastic, but there are some pretty obvious mistakes like: Spelling mistakes - pretty easy to fix up, just copy into Word, not using a capital letter to start a new sentence - I mean, that's like grade 2 stuff and combining words - by that I mean, not using spaces. Sorry if I sound rude but you have being going on for so long about getting it added to the AoW yet your guide is still not up to standards. Fix those things up (among other things) and you will have a better chance. No guarantees though. Good luck. And jeez, ease up on the quadruple posting. -.-
