I think that the odds of getting the double smith on 4 items per inventory is exponentially low and not worth the added time.

To both of you, its not that you get 2 bars from one ore, you smelt to ores at once. I've also tried doing some timed runs and it appears that the Port is about 5 seconds faster per load, and I would like to do a few more tests before I'm positive but with Iron or Silver the only 2 ores that you can fill your inventory with and not have any space left at the end, it seems as though you don't get the 2 smithing at once if you don't have a space open.

Well with the release of the Diaries I thought I would try them out as i failed horribly at the Kamjara ones, and after receiving the level 1 reward I decided to try out the edge vile furnace. I'm smelting iron with rings of forging and was surprised to find out that when you smelt 2 bars at once it only uses 1 charge on your ring. Now many people still believe that Port Phsymas (sp, ghost place) or this Neiznot place (I have no knowledge on this place) are better because of a door you have to open every time. This is irrelevant, my whole point was to see if anyone though saving a charge on your ring is worth the extra time (if there is any). EDIT: I stated below that you may not get the bonus with a full inventory and I was wrong just got it. Also the times were on average: 1:46 Consistently at the Port and 1:45 With 1 Double smelt in Edge, without at double smelt it was 1:51. EDIT 2: Just had a double double smelt (wow thats a mouth full) and the time was 1:40. Also a contributing factor with edge vile is that if someone else is using the door you can't and you have to wait, so to optimize performance you need to be the only one in the world using it. EDIT 3: IT is posible to get multiple Double smelts in and inventory, after 30 runs the best I have had is 5 in one inventory. EDIT 4: I just realized that with the RoF and iron, the difference in the amount of loads adds additional time to the smelting process, so after a few timed runs of running to the bank and back I can guess that its approximate 16 seconds from the furnace to the bank, with each double smelt you *gain* 4 seconds, so you would need 4 Double smelts in one ring to make up the time loss and make it faster then the port.

Ok, with the new release of the Varrock Achievement Diaries I've seen people talking about this "Neiznot" place, for smithing I was wondering if it is easy to get to and is it faster then the port?

First off, I'm members and trying to do the achievement diary, second I asked WHICH of the Catabloeon things you have to kill and were is the best spot.

In the SoS which things on the 3rd level do you kill and where is the best place?

Ok, so I was recently fooling around in the fight caves trying to do the achievement diary, and I'm far from a combat character, a mere level 93 with 76 76 73 for melee stats and 56 Prayer. Equiped with a ddp++, whip, obby shield, obby cape, full rune, Zerker helm, rune boots a glory and 18 monk fish I easily made it to the level with a 180 + 2 90's. I was lead to wonder if the fight caves are really that hard. I mean I have never fought jad, which is supposed to be the hardest part, but I did a sizable portion with minimal equipment. So my question to you is the fight caves really that hard?

Do you have to be level 63 to see re chins because I ran around the whole hunting area and didn't see one.

I plan on using that spell, but you still need the matierials, and the molanisks are too far from a bank for it to be worth it.

Well thanks everyone, currently I'm collecting from Bert, and cleaning out the charter ships every time I walk by. I tried using Entrana for sand and Glorying back to Draynor and it worked not bad. I may have to try out the Fletching world if someone could tell me what it is, and the Fairy ring may be the best bet for lots of seaweed. Thanks. ~Jay

Thats 2 Questions :P O.T. Short bows hit faster, less hard, shorter distance. Most people prefer short bows as it seems as though you do more damage because it happens faster. Ie: This is made up, no idea if the numbers are real Shortbow = 4 5 6 3 2 1 = 10 SEconds Long Bow = 6 7 4 4 = 10 seconds You had 2 more hits with a short bow the the damage usually evens out.

I'm going to use larders, What I wanted to know was weather I should use: Servant or Plank Make Spell Cut Logs( time wise it fits) or Buy logs

Hello all, I'm trying to level construction and I know that Oak Larders are the best, I was wondering should I cut the logs or buy them? which would be faster, and should I use the plank make spell from the lunars or a servant? which would be cheaper and/or faster?
