In order to be able to kill the demon, you have to hit (that means actually do damage to) him with each of the four blast spells. Then you can kill him with whatever method you want (range, melee, furhter mage), but he won't die immediately.

Yep, keep fishing in the same place. As far as I know the fish need a "use-rod" option, and that's the only place where I've seen it.

That would be it, as far as I know. (Is is also used to buy a machete, but buying it with trading sticks is easier and cheaper)

Nope. You've lost it forever, unless by mere chance you haven't completed the quest yet. Or Jagex releases a way to make a new one.

Another Tip: If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. For example, "buying a whip for 2m" (the price is around 1,5, just so you know), probably they will remove 1,8m. Or "giving away free sharks, show me your inv first". They hope you'll forget to withdraw your items so that you'll give them your inventory for a couple of sharks.

The Wise Old Man will only say what f2p quest items are safe to throw away or not. IF you are a member, try writing the name of the items here. Most of the Quest Items are either useless after the quest or easily recoverable, but you shouldn't go drop-happy.

I almost always go first to Help and Advice and post there, then go to Gen. Discussion, where I only post in a few threads that interest me, then I go to the Rants forum and disscuss a little, and rarely to the Bugs and Discussion Forum and see if someone has a good idea against autoers.

Nope, sorry, that's not right. Certain monsters drop certain items, some of them more often than others. That's how lists like this one can be made. Now, within that list, there is a certain amount of randomness in the drops, but they're not totally random.

Perhaps you can use the ones that come out of rotting logs when you cast bloom on them with a blessed silver sickle in the swamps in Morytania.

However, some scammers give you 4 items, so, if you want to risk the chance, get runes for low alchemy, alch one and pray protect item, but this is very risky.

In fact, darts have a higher range bonus thena the knives (according to the Item DB), and thus have more accuracy and a higher max hit. :D

If you are only expecting to get free arrows, don't get it, you'll get quite dissapointed. After it got "nerfed", it stopped producing that many arrows, but instead it made you recover most of your fired arrows (unless you use a safespot).

I don't know your actual combat level, but I'd start out with Mezchna, and (at least at the beggining), keep with a master below the one oyu are advised (the one you talk to with the gem).

I really see it as a great move from Jagex, and adding to Devoted's reasons, I (for example) can host a real drop party celebrating my 99 construction with all my friends, p2p and f2p. I'd (as a member myself) also like to see Team Capes added to f2p, although sold only in p2p worlds (such as the coloured gloves). Most clan wars, AFAIK, happen in free worlds, and clans themselves mostly gather p2p and f2p people, so it'd be a great adding for pVp fighting.

Thanks to good ole' Tip.it forums, I got to learn how to avoid the "whip-video" scam (which I should warn you, works with Torag's Hammers, Dbaxes and Mystic Tops) by low alching one of them, so I got to get 3 sets of Torag's Hammers. However, a friend of mine asked if he could borrow 100k from he because he had been scammed and needed a new start-on for merchanting, so I lent them to him. Afterwards, when I asked him when we'd give the money back, he said "whenever you give me rune legs and helm". He explained to methat I'd have to give hime the armor, and then, he'd give the money. Of course I got that he was just lying to me, so I told him what I thought. I haven't heard from him since. He's still on my friends' list, just in case he thinks it through and wants to redeem himself (what I know won't happen ). I'd rather have lost the whip on a scam rather than 100k to someone I considered a friend... :cry:

Yes, you can enter all altars without the needed level (as long as you have the quest requirements). The problem with world 66 (while getting experience) is that you'll have to give away the ess and the laws for the sake of the exp.

It depends on the amount of posts you have written (if they're not in the Marketplace or Games forums, for example). Also, some people get to have other titles if they work for Tip.it, as being an administrator, moderator, item reasearcher, or if they have won the ability to change it as a prize from a contest.
