  1. You should wear easily replaceable magic armour, plus a bad pickaxe (mith or lower), and take your ess and pouches with you. If you want to feel safer, bring a 1 click tele (teletab, ectophial, teleport crystal). For the armor, you should use this: Bearhead, God Cape or Spotty/ier Cape, (usually a glory in the amulet spot), your pickaxe, a mind/elemental shield or a sara/guthix book, boots of lightness, and otionally a ring of life. Depending on your ranged level, you might like to bring dragonhide body and chaps. There are some places where you must choose between risk of losing something valuable and loss of speed or defense, for example the quality of the dhide armor you buy, to bring a specific cape, to bring a glory amulet, but that's something more personal.
  2. If you die with a quest cape (at least) you'll keep it if it's one of your 3/4 more valuable items (quite often), and if you lose it you can simply buy a new one.
  3. You can also change your boots in Relleka after completing Fremmenik Trials Quest, and your hair/beard with the hairdresser in Falador.
  4. Asgarnia remembers Asgard, from the Norse Mythology.. :-k
  5. After having accessed Crandor Island for the first time during the Dragon Slayer Quest, you can access it anytime by going in the volcano in Karamja, and then going north.
  6. He'll give you some money (around 2k if I remember correctly) and similar construction exp for each long or curved bone.
  7. Just get some extra money (around 15gp) and kill the crocodiles south of Polvineach. When you are running out of water, buy a bucket or two from the general store, and use them along with the fountain there to refill your waterskins.
  8. I think that he really means as if it was in real life, not where you wouldn't want to be in-game. In that case I'd really hate to be in Dragontooth Island. There's absolutely nothing there. Anything. Just a tree, moved by the chilly sea wind. A pond. Some grass to sit on. Sea whereever you look. Pure and perfect loneliness. *shivers* :uhh:
  9. I guess that you really make a point there, although I hadn't ever thought like that :-k ... It's really a nice point of view, and it might give scam-victims some relief. It might be true that people must sometimes learn in the "hard way" before they actually change their ways of acting, but still we should really start to learn from others' mistakes instead of our own (this including simplier things as RS and more complex subjects, like war). Or do we always have to suffer before learning? Do I really have to? :XD:
  10. You mean that they do are autoers? In my opinion, a real person playing behind would feel tempted to say something to the other player if he was really taking advantage of him, or at least change worlds or log off, but an autoer wouldn't. This way, it's really hard to strongly harm innocents in this way, isn't it?
  11. dds used to stand for dragon dagger super (poisoned), but its name was cahnged a while ago to dragon dagger p++ (shorter: ddp++). There also the dragon dagger with a weaker kind of poison, the ddp+, and lastly ddp, which stands for dragon dagger poisoned which has only the weakest possible poison. dds is the best one, so you should buy that one if you are able. The Dragon Scimitar, but you need to complete the quest Monkey Madness to be able to weild it.
  12. I don't really think that would be illegal, but I think that's unnecessary. First, open My PC, then open C:\Windows\System32 and check if there's a file called mspaint with the exe extension (if there's one, that'd be paint and your prolem is solved). If there isn't, open the control panel and then open Add and delete Programs (or something similar, I can't be sure because of the language). There should be an option to 'Add or delete Windows components', select a division called "Accessories and Utilities" and click "details", and then do the same with a division called "Accessories", and in it you should be able to have the option to install Paint again.
  13. It'd be ridiculous if you had to be in a duel in order to get a clue... Can you please post the exact coordinates?
  14. Instead of pasting your screenshot in MS Word, paste it in Paint, and save it as a .jpg there.
  15. Outside of the wildy, non-agressive monsters won't attack you unless you start the fight, and agressive ones always attack you first unless you've been in the area for around 15 minutes and/or your level is more than twice theirs. Monsters in wildy will always attack you first, unless you've been in the area for the same 15 minutes.
  16. It's not that rare, although it's not very common to see him. However, he usually just says some random stuff, maybe flirting with his girlffriend or giving a hint about him being a god or the like.
  17. While you are attempting to pass through the creatures won't harm you, unless you fail to get to the other side. One click teleports would be tele runes (you'll need several inventory slots and the necessary magic level for them) or tele tablets (they only need 1 slot and work regardless of your magic level). Apart from the tiny elf crystal, you could use the ectophial, which needs youto do Ghosts Ahoy and has a free recharge.
  18. For the first greegree just kill any monkey in Karamja, for example. Then, for a Ninja Greegree kill an archer, for a Gorilla Greegree kill one of them in the temple, and for a zombie Greegree kill one in the Marim Dungeon.
  19. Yes, unless you had Photoshop or similar software.
  20. Last time I checked, it was a oneway trip to Zanaris, but there was no possibility to go back. For now you'll have to use Canifis for quick access.
  21. It's not that remote, but Port Phasmatys is a good option to train firemaking without much more people.

Harpie Bug Swarms drop loads of fire runes. :D

Nope, mixing the 3 kinds of dye won't get you brown dye. There is a way to make black dye (member's only, requires Shadow of the Storm quest), but there's no brown dye.
  24. More rooms, plants, monsters, things like that won't need a saw.
  25. The only way to get Slayer experience is killing the monsters you are assigned to. Killing Slayer monsters doesn't give experience per se, unless it's an assignement. However, you might change the harder tasks (like Dagannoths or Metal Dragons) by talking with Duradel in Burthorpe.
