Yes, you can use Mage Pots/Mind Bombs for this quest. Just so you know, This is quite a common question.

The full set will sometimes heal you for the amount of damage you hit (or would have hit without protection prayer), so, with some monsters it might not be enough, and remember you have to periodically repair the set.

The running system works more or less like this (there is an official clan for this, based on the official forums, but I can't find it at the moment): You must go to world 16, to the air altar, with lots of ess and cash. People will be trading you 25 unnoted rune ess, and you'll give them 2k (might be more or less) and 25 noted ess. You'll get quite fast exp, but you'll lose cash, even if you sell the airs you get. Even so, the time saved quickly pays off after you start making nats! \

Rock crabs (as well as experiments) might seem great for exp, but they're just too crowded to be effective. You should rather go with other, not-so-popular monsters, like hill giants in p2p, or slayer tasks.

Last time I checked, the average price was 1,55m, but you could get one for around 1,5 if you're lucky. Buy in a crowded, but non-merchanting world (26, for example, not 2) in any crowded bank (Seer Village Bank, Falador Banks, Varrok Banks). You could cut yews for the cash, although it might be somewhat slow.

Chrono Trigger is the best RPG ever! It has a great story, not too manycharacters with great backgrounds, (can't talk about the graphics, it's Snes, after all), and the music (mostly composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, my idol) is overwhelmingly fascinating.

Now, the best is to combine both methods (that's what I do), using a Home Teletablet as a one-click Teleport and as a quick access to Edgeville. Sadly, you'll need level 47 (eventually 40 if you used a crystal saw and tea) for the mounted glory, and a way to get Home-teletablets (I use a friend's house for that).

I mined mining in Rimmington, Smelting in Falador, and Smithing in Doric's Anvils, then selling to the general or the shield store in there. I climbed from bronze squares and kites, to iron and lastly to steel, but getting coal was too hard for me and I found better ways to get money.

You won't get melee exp from the poison, but you'll get the same slayer exp.

By the way, everything is in German there, even the name of the items, so, unless you can speak it, refrain from trading there.

Just so you know, the Elf Crystal Teleports you to Lletya, quite near to a Bank, but the home teletablet is better. Also, the ring of life isn't that useful against Pkers, but I meant it would save you from lag (random event, monsters in the abyss, skeletons in the wilderness). In my opinion, taking ppots is not worth it, as long as you know how to react against different attacks (if teleblocked, run to the the mage, if frozen, use the teletablet, if teleblocked and entangled, drop your pouches and glory, if possible).

Nope, that will only affect that last day you get your favour to 100%, it doesn't go backwards to the days you had 25%.

The jail guards do attack, and they are deadly to lower levels (especially if they don't run because they're having lag... :-w )

You can't buy them, but the Ice Gloves (from Heroes' Quest) look really nice.
