I really can't talk for you, since we have totally different backgrounds, but I'd say that there's something fundamentally wrong in thinking people are poor because they're lazy. I'd say it's wrong in being so lenient to having poor people have their illnesses treated when your country is the richest in the world -especially when your Christian upbringing tells you to help the needy and to share your wealth.

Please post all trivial Youtube videos in the appropriate sticky. Since there's no discussion value here, I'll lock it.

I sometimes ask myself if there was any other reason to becoming a mod, other than this. : It's so gratifying.

Bluelancer, doesn't it seem more likely that surviving is merely a necessary condition for whatever the meaning of life is, and not an (objective) meaning of life itself? Instead of saying that the ultimate reason of existence is existing (and being alive), I'd rather say it's just a logical implication.

That's why we all love you. Because you don't love us. Now, really, the community is something that has kept me here. You get to learn about different views on life, politics, religion, etc, you get to interact with lots of people from many different places, there's always something interesting to read or discuss because there's so much variety. Here's where I both learnt about great things like Fullmetal Alchemist and Trans-Siberian Orchestra but here's where I formed and built most of my political views.

It's actually good, but the Crewbie avatar ruins it IMO. 8/10
