  1. Good night, gentlemen.
  2. It seems the thread has turned into a flame fest now, and there's no reason it should be left open. Locked, ~meol
  3. if the sun blew up, we would witness the explosion 8 minutes later, as it takes light 8 minutes to travel from the sun to earth. its strange when you think that some of the stars you look at now might not even exist. this is as close as we will ever get to time travel. you are seeing something that existed thousands, if not millions, of years ago. [/hide] I'm pretty sure it would be less than 8 minutes, as the Sun would be much, much bigger if/when it "blows up." The sun wouldn't explode, it'd start swelling and getting bigger until it engulfed the Earth. But that shouldn't happen in 4 thousand million years or so anyway, not in 2012.

  5. Oh, I hadn't noticed that. Nice move. :D
  6. Haven't you learnt that cueing will only make it funnier for us? Funnier in an evil, sadistic way.

Edit: Had to drop out, sorry.
  8. It should have been 10 you know. :shame:
  9. I see their knavery: this is to make an [wagon] of me; to fright me, if they could. But I will not stir from this place, do what they can: I will walk up and down here, and I will sing, that they shall hear I am not afraid. 0
  10. I really wonder what'd happen to me in case of a WW3, seeing I live in a forgotten country without an army. Probably food prices would rise to a point we'd just slowly starve to death while you're killing yourself. Or we could die to a nuclear winter if the war escalated too much. :?
  11. I've never been set any kind of restrictions. Maybe not because my parents trust me that much, but because I've always known more about computers than them. Restrictions in my school are a complete nuisance though. If the site is even remotely fun or interesting, it's blocked, and the IT guys can always look into your computer and control it from afar. (Unless you're using a Linux boot CD ;) )
  12. Please put [hide] tags around such large images. Thank you. Oh, and by the way, I think I'm perhaps under the impression I maybe just might have possibly rest your count, once again.
  13. Here's for gameboy and sephiroth_king, seeing the link pryo provided is broken: http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/3724/zz2gu3.jpg http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/6738/zz1hg1.jpg
  14. What would be the purpose of revenge? I can understand some countries have death penalty (even though I don't agree with it), as a way of removing the criminal from society, so he can't harm any longer, but what can you possibly gain torturing him, making him suffer? Will raping him do anything good for anyone, other than give sadistic pleasure? Killing him is barbaric enough already, there's no need to make it worse by wishing him pain.
  15. Such an obnoxious smiley. :| At least I can reset your count.
  16. I don't need any bonus points. 9.8/10 for you.
  17. For once, you'd have to speak with the Techies around here, I personally don't know if that's possible at all. Anyway, I'd say everyone knew about the warnings at that time. I doubt anyone -with, perhaps, a rare exception- posted offensive rules on accident, but rather on an attempt to troll/be funny, because "they didn't find the image offensive themselves", or simply to push the limits and test the mods. IMO, the warnings and rules were clear enough, but there were still some people breaking them despite deleted posts, warnings, etc.
  18. O brave new world that hath such people in't! The physicist in me tells me I'll lose consciousness, my body will decompose and that the world will go on, but something inside me tells there is some kind of cycle around. Day and night, Big Bang and -possibly- Big Crunch. If I was any religious, I'd be a Buddhist, but I still can't wholly believe in it.
  19. That was my original mindset as well; I personally despise this attitude of a few spoiling the fun for the rest. However, people kept pushing the lines, posting bad pictures all over the place, and we had to put a lot of effort into cleaning the threads. Even when posts were deleted and people warned (and in some of the first attempts, banned) they went on. We've already have enough threads were we "post clear warnings" and enforce the rules, but it hasn't worked so far, it's always got out of control quickly. I hope that clears up why such threads were removed.
  20. No way! Death Note was awesomely good as well.
  21. Oh you guys are so very funny. Hehe. Ha. Har.
  22. Stretched images aren't cool. 5/10 if that's you.
  23. I took a much more comprehensive test some time ago. Apparently, I'm one of Tip.it's many Masterminds (INTJ). None of the results told me anything I didn't know, but they were surprisingly accurate.
