A little help I need on a treaty.
May I cite Wikipedia to make a point? I am under the impression that in many parliamentary systems (like in Germany or the United Kingdom), the people can't directly elect the head or the members of the executive branch (i.e. your Prime Minister and the other Ministers). Why should you be able to elect one for the whole of Europe, then? However, you still can directly choose the Members of the European Parliament, so I would say you still have your democracy. Also, could you please cite the Lisbon Treaty on building a common European Army or anything similar?

fake hits
Seeing this isn't really "art", this wouldn't go in the Gallery, but in the "Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!" Sticky in General Discussion. And to answer your question, yes, most people can usually tell which pictures are fake. Ha Ha i agree If you feel a thread should get closed, don't post into it, since you're just bumping it. Just report it and walk away.

I spent my early childhood watching old Discovery Kids. I remember things like Amazing Animals with Henry the lizard, the Magic Schoolbus, The Ghostwriter, Bernard's Watch, Popular Mechanics for Kids... Those were happy times.- Two Questions can u anwser?
Who inspires me? Lot of different people: those who devote their life to helping others against all odds, so I'll just cite two. Gandhi, for his teachings against violence, how he managed to move millions of people peacefully against unfair oppression and even massacres. Salvador Allende, who fought peacefully for his ideals of equality and justice, against the strength of the US and Chile's higher classes. He was the first Socialist leader who gained power through a completely democratic process. A role model? Can't really say anyone here. There's no specific person I'd like to follow like that. -Sorry if this sounds too much like warrior's answer.- Count to ~200~ before a mod posts - fifth round
You know what'd make me sad? Tripsis posting here, on your side... :? But for now, 0. :- Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Thread!
I guess I'm a freak for jumping with Down Pad, Grabbing with C and Shielding with Z, then? :P As soon as I get an USB-Lan Adapter I'll be able to play around a little. And I'll probably get kicked, but meh.- RS: Formal Portrait
Yet another appalling work of yours. I especially love the textures on the fountain and the highlights on the clothes. There's the same trouble as with your sig though with the backgrounds, but it's otherwise awesome- How famous are you on tip.it? (Over 10k posts)
Seen ya around. 7/10- The Sig Rating Game
So anything that's Ripped is worth 10/10? :wall:. For Reaper, it's pretty decent 6/10? Rate this one and my current (No anime or pixel haters): The one in your post is quite nice, but I don't like the random blotches around so much, the background on the top left area is boring and the render could use more blending. The pixel is awesome, I just don't like the horizontal lines in the mountains. 6/10 and 9.5/10 if you want numbers.- The Sig Rating Game
3/10, the image is quite bad.- Rating Avatars Game

Sorry, I'll have to close this thread. Excessive quote nesting annihilates the page after a while, it has happened before.- Beat the staff at counting! Now up to 1.000!

0 Funny how they've only managed to reach 6 the last three times.- Finally some punishment :o
The Coalition have killed, raped and beaten countless innocent civilians. It would be idealistic to think it's all done in the name of liberty and freedom (whatever the hell that means). Yes, I know that the actions of some specific soldiers might have been wrong (and again, I do not condone the Iraqi War), but we are talking about the ideals behind a general course of action, so you shouldn't give an argument based on exceptions. (and yes, these soldiers should get punished as well) I'm not defending the soldiers that rape and kill civilians, I'm just trying to stablish the difference between soldiers killing people in a War, and a soldier throwing a (maybe fake) puppy off a cliff. The difference lies in the purpose of the action.- Fur, right or wrong?
Or you could stop making such straw men arguments. Killing rats is needed because they are disease carriers, so it's much healthier for the common safety to kill them instead. However, killing animals solely for fur is not needed. - A child of the 90's, this is what shaped my world.(few pics)
