  1. the whip makes hitting people...FUN!* *this fun excludes begging noobs, strength training, and...ramen noodles
  2. SWEET! now I can go buy a phat for a reasonable price and only be made fun of by the rest of humanity! pathetic I tell you...PATHETIC! lol
  3. Ya I was training at basalisks already :P good training :). pure monk I may have known you but it's probably been a REALLY long while lol.
  4. Hi everyone, to start this off I'll give a quick rs history of myself just to give you an idea of how pathetic it is that I havn't yet attained 100 combat. I started playing this game a little bit over five years ago, from what players at the time told me less than a week after it was brought online. I started my original two characters mightyman (or mighty man I really don't remember if a space was there) and shilo (shilo village are is be mine! lol). I quit playing as Shilo shortly after due to the fact mightyman was better, than mightyman got haxed and I didn't know what to do so I started this character to join my old friends clan (Wickedwayz who was in his mid 60s at the time). Shortly after Wickedwayz kinda just disappeared and hasn't talked to me since (about 4 years). I continued training pretty uneventfully for a while more until one day I get mightyman back and abandon him once again because I was already a lot stronger than him. At the time dueling came out Wickedknight had attained the stats 70ata 70def 72str 70h with a combat of 76, and was among the original few pure platers. I staked for about a year making and losing unspeakable amounts of money constantly, then RS2 came out and ruined it all, my combat which was in the high 70s jumped into the high 80s on rs2. The first long while on RS2 I pretty much just sat and did absolutely nothing till I made the decision to woodcut, which I did without stopping till 93 when I quit for a few months for real life reasons. I came back after a few months and since I pretty much just sat there with my stats stagnating...I got a few levels here and there but otherwise stayed at combat 94 for almost a year than one day finally getting 95 randomly. My RS mind has finally decided to wake up and go for that 100 combat finally...yup FINALLY! So far I've gained 2 combat levels in the last 5 days which included 4 def levels and 1 hp. Currently I'm 81 atta 77 def 76 str 80 hp and moving up rather quickly, it's been fun being under 100 and avoiding a lot of harassment from lower levels but I now feel I want to be harassed lol. Wish me luck I'll be there soon 100 :). And yes I do still go on Shilo occasionally to tell everyone I own shilo village lol.
  5. i think the cap should be raised even though im not even close to the current one lol. if it was raised there are a few people that would gain a few levels right off the bat.
  6. It's amazing how long someone can keep a secret like that. When I researched a little into the watergate scandal I always wondered who deepthroat was; I remember making a comment to my friend about how he should tell the press when he was about to die. Guess someone else was thinking the exact same thing. :D
  7. I was saying it was time consuming comparitively. Lvl 60 on WoW is harder to attain than lvl 20 on GW. Theres also the factor of getting the weapons and armor you want; theres still sets of armor on WoW that people havn't even gotten yet so it gives the higher level people something to strive for, on GW from what I've noticed most of the people at lvl 20 have the same sort of armor which (correct me if i'm wrong) makes it a little easier to attain your item goal. I havn't done much in the way of pvp on GW but from what I HAVE done, it seems you get points...no items from what I've seen.
  8. runegirlie, thanks for the congrats. Didn't think I'de find anyone on here that was navy as well; I have one basic question...do you enjoy being in the navy? I listen to a whole lot of what my recruiters have to say but I don't trust 'everything' they say, afterall they're there to recruit. Maybe someday I'll run into you, I'll probably make some wierd comment about RunEscape and you'll recognize it lol. I would take nuke but i know absolutely nothing about that specialty, I'de rather do aviation machinist because I have a lot more experience in the mechanical aspect. I may have a couple questions a little bit later but not so much that you become annoyed. Thanks for the advice. :)
  9. neither of them have a 'winner take all' pvp system, WoW is a lot more fun gameplay-wise but of course you do have to dish out the money for the gameplay, GW you just have to pay once but it has a ton of quests to do and is still very fun.If anything WoW is the way to go if you want to pay out some cash but if your on a limited budget go for GW. On one final note you have to remember GW is based on skill rather than time played and that does reflect on pvp. WoW is much more time consuming level-wise.
  10. rocket, navy. I don't know where I'll be stationed till after basic. My MOS is Aviation Machinist Mate although my recruiter is pushing me toward nuclear technician but I dont want to be stuck on a submarine or glow green till the day I die. :)
  11. wow! you really do believe logic is overrated dont you! lol :D
  12. Awsome, no other relatives around. He kicked me out because our personalities are completely opposite along with our interests, the smallest little problem was able to escalate into a HUGE thing. rs_shark, The sad thing is I only have 3 friends i would trust being around for more than a day. dark_tigra, It's always inconveniencing to have an extra person around; I know they would let me stay with them I just don't want them to go out of their way, I'm trying my best to be a good friend ;) icutyoursoul, If I weren't already enlisted I would probably join job corps, it's a good program. People are supposed to tell others how hard it is, if they told them it wasn't very hard people wouldn't try to prepare and then it would be really hard  shadow, colorado and thats what I'm doing :) rocketman, yes I do refer to basic training as 'boot camp' because I've found that some people don't know what I'm talking about when I say basic training but everyone knows what I'm talking about when i say boot camp.
  13. Well, its officially a month from when I go to boot camp and things have started going sour. I got my high school diploma two days ago, my life is heading in a direction I like it going, and I'm finally proud of something I've done. Unfortunately that isn't the case for everyone; after moving back in my dads house to spend some time with family about a month ago I had thought things were going to go go all right...He decided he didn't want to deal with me anymore and kicked me out. My mom lives too far away to live with for a month before I leave and I hate causing this inconvenience to my friends for so long. What luck eh?
