Ditto. We'll see alot more full(er) mystic pkers now I'm sure. Most probably not. Splitbark offers a bit melee protection. What is easier to hit through? Cloth or Wood?

Mod Ash Jagex Mod 29-Aug-2006 17:26:36 We're rebooting the servers to fix a couple of bugs: - Make X options now sometimes did the wrong number of items. - Treasure trail clue broken in Digsite area. - Character didn't appear in a certain cutscene. You may find the servers lag badly for a while. That's inevitable when the worlds are so busy. If you're really having trouble connecting, I recommend you take a break from the game for a while - it's better than dying from lag. Other outstanding bugs, including the baby dragon slayer xp bug, will be fixed as soon as possible. Sorry 8-)

A little off on the first post? And I always wondered why it had veracs helm.. just didn't quite get it.. Anyway, I have never seen a quest guide that needed full guthans or drag. And for things like Abby demons or Dustdevils it says to use full guthans, but that is because that is the most effecient way. And because you don't have the stats to do either, it doesn't matter if you have guthans or not. Err. You can't use Guthans on Dust Devils.. And If you try pm me first and I'll steal your spear. :)

I'm training to 90 Range on Dusties. Started at 79. 88 At the moment. Needed to kill 8k In Total from 79. Need to kill about 2k More for 90 :) 75% of the way there.

Aww That serves you right for being so darn lucky :P That's unlucky. You should have tried to put Protect Item before you died. Or even that prayer that heals you. But I guess you ran out of prayer. Unlucky :(

Mime Mask, Lederhosen Top and 3 Mime Emotes is all I need. I don't have Frog Mask but I have 40+ Frog Tokens Banked :)

And what about level 3 Skillers? Take zzzamorak for example. He's 99 Woodcutting, 99 Fishing, Fletching. Name most skills and he's 99. All his skills are 80+ Apart from Slayer (50) and Runecrafting (65). How does your plan make it fair for him? Yes he is a member and can go cut Yews or Magics in Safety but it's all the same. There is quite alot of F2P Skillers out there. You're practically cutting off the F2P skiller from skilling. Maybe they could go to a place where they won't get attacked. Like a level 600+ Total Guild or something like that. And you can't use the argument that says just train combat to level 10 or 20. Then they're not Pure Skillers are they?

Are you entirely stupid? Surely due to the lack of Range/Mage Armours/Robes (Whatever) Jagex would introduce more of the Armour for the Combat skill that has the least amount of variety. Purple Dragonhides = 80 Range. White Dragonhides = 90 Range. Would be a great idea in my opinion.

You think it could be implemented into the game in the near Future? Maybe a level 300 White Dragon that can can drop Dragon Pickaxe or something special like that. Requires 90 Crafting for Vams 92 for Chaps and 95 for Body. I think White Dragonhide Armour would look awesome personally. It'd need 90 Range. I think another colour should be released at 80. But I think 90 Range for White Dragonhide would be a really good achievement.

I use the same look. Pity there isn't a Black Mask eh?

Yeah this has been stated. It's just all the "p0m9 h3 dr00p tr4d3d n3wb5!" That can't read are saying that he drop traded it. 82 Fishing is by far enough to get Full Dragon. I'm 83 Fishing with Green Mask and Full Guthans.. So I drop traded aswell?

Actually there is a well known safespot on the western side. I suggest that you use a Dragon Halberd though. Also I suggest luring them into position with a Magic Spell. Don't get in melee range though.. If you do they can easily hit 30+. 109 and 111 I believe they are.

You're gonna need another 1k Waters there.

Personally I can't see Jagex telling us how to get rare drops everytime. But they should release the formula or principles that they use to determine what drop you get.

I've beaten that before. I've had 6 Rune Scimmies, 8 Rune Full Helms, Cut Dragonstone and 3 Key Halves.. Two Days. :P

Yes and No. I think the Rare Item every 20 minutes is entirely dependant on your luck.. I think it averages out at one rare ever 20 minutes though. As for random events read ltje's post more clearly. Without Rotating His screen. I do think that the whole 20 minutes thing is something to do with the drops from monsters.

Later on in that trip I had two Dust Devils in a line waiting to attack me. First one Falls. Red Vams.. Ooh Not Bad. Stayed in the safespot Killed the second... Key Half.. Wow! I couldn't believe it. I think the chances of that happening are fairly slim to be honest. I'd have prefered a Chain though :)

That is a very good theory. I myself am training to 90 Range at the Dust Devils. I'm never down here for longer than two hours which could spoil my chance of this secondary drop. Someone else was ranging Dust Devils (Crossfire39) and if I can remember correctly he only kept Diamonds. Anyone who has been to the Dust Devils know they drop a ton of gems below Diamonds. He got a Dragon Chain in one month of Ranging them I believe. EDIT: I don't know if any of you believe this but exactly 20 Minutes After I made this post (Also Started Dust Devil Trip) I got a Rarish Drop of Red Dragonhide Vambraces. Maybe it's every 20 minutes or so?
