Most useless item you can get from treasure trails, worth nothing (Literally) because of being non-tradeable. So when you get level 3 clue like this it's a bit annoying.

I didn't "want" 99 range - I got there by training a skill I enjoyed. If people (Such as muggi) get 99 range because they're going to use it - then fair enough, but it's people who get 99 range just to go along with their fletching and cooking capes.

The reason I got 99 range was because it was my favourite skill and I enjoyed training it - I didn't get it as an accomplishment - I got it because I want to. The point I was trying to make is a lot of people just get it for a 99 - thus making it "worthless". All 17.5 or however much Range xp i have has gotten without even touching a chin, and I don't plan to. Atleast people who use chins to get 99 range are actually doing *some* sort of ranging, unlike people who got it with PC, the most unbalanced training method in the history of RS. No money needed to spend - no risk a very high reward. Fair enough if you chinned to 99 if you plan to use it - It's just people who use chins just to get "another 99".

How am I "dumb/poor" for getting 99 range before this method came out? I got 99 range "the old fashioned" way and have done the 4M experience after that. I just dislike the method - spend a load of money and get nothing in return. On my way to 99 range I earned myself three party hats, purely from ranging. Before chins came out there were probably only 2000 99 rangers, if that. Now there's over 10,000. It's just become a less "respected" skill and it also annoys me how some people assume I used chins to get to 99, I spent hours on end at greaters and my "achievement" has been "downgraded" thanks to the chinning method. I don't hate chins as much, if people earned the money for it (Not by getting lucky at GWD...) or got the chins themselves then fair enough. It just seems every man and his dog has 99 range these days and 75% of those used chins to get there.

You don't know what you're talking about. I've been Beta Testing a game since February, that's over 4 months, and it was already in beta for a good 5-6 months before that too. It's got atleast another month left of beta, maybe as long as until December-ish. So no, not all BETAs last a "few weeks". Although I assume this one will not last too long, will probably be F2P before the end of the month.

So we've come to the conclusion: It's not all nVidia cards, it's not just Vista.So we have no idea what's causing it. I would suggest it's a laptop only thing but the above user has problems without having a laptop (Don't believe they have 8800 GT for laptops). This is really confusing, tried using multiple browsers to make sure it wasn't a silly problem with that - nope. Does anyone else who's having problems have dual/multiple monitors? Again it shouldn't make a problem and with a problem as widespread as this I doubt that many people have a dual monitor set-up.

I've been using this for ages with my normal RS screens - doesn't work for me under full screen. It does sound like it's an Nvidia problem as I have a 8400 and it doesn't like me taking pictures other than with fraps :(

Why would they release it publicly before E3? Everyone will have seen everything in two weeks when E3 hits. So it basically says to other companies "Hey, look what we can do with Java!" they have no reason to release it after E3. While E3 is mainliy for showing off things that aren't out yet - it can also be used to show off things that are...

I believe they said previously that it'll be be coming at the beginning of July, if that means this week or next no one knows. Guess we'll have a better idea tomorrow.

If you want it just for guitar: Rock Band. I got both games on Saturday and have finished GH:A already (One playthrough of that was enough to get me 5 more points than my hundreds of hours playing GH3... :wall: :wall: :wall: ) I've played Rock Band a lot more - more DLC and 20 songs more on the disc, well worth it.

Clue chances are too vague - They said rarer than an imp scroll -which itself was as rare as a med off Fire Giants, which is 1/16384. I assume this is per "reward" and thus the chance is significantly improved as you have a minimum of 4 chances during a clue. Which then become 1/4096, 5 part clue is then reduced even more, 1/3276.8, and again for the maximum 6 parts: 1/2730. I haven't done statistics in a while, so the next math might be off. Seeing as they're mutually exclusive, as in one does not effect the other, the chance of getting TWO I believe to be 1/(2730*3276) = 1/8,943,480 aka bloody rare. That's in a 6 part clue, two from a 5 part clue is 1/13,418,496, and for a 4 part clue 1/22,369,621 About 2.5x as rare as getting it from a 6 part clue. Although that's assuming the values they gave were for a specific piece, if it was for third age in general then it's a lot, lot rarer than that. 12 3rd age items, I'm not even going to go there. The above numbers then apply for the chance of getting any two 3rd age items.
