It really depends on how severe your mute was, if it was for something such as making threats to someone (If that doesn't get you banned) you should also be banned from the forum. However, if it was for swearing once too many then in my opinion you do not deserve to lose your forum priviledges. It just depends on what you did wrong and how severe it is, I'm sure you can get punished "in-game" for things said on forums so it's no real surprise it's the other way around.

Hits experience, for all purposes was calculated the same except you got the hits experience (and combat) at the END of the fight and not each hit. Although range and mage didn't give hits experience. I appear to have 2.5M more combat experience not accounted for, maybe It's come from maging, 99% of my mage experience has been from fighting things so I assume that's where it comes from.

That would be because i'm Mrmyk on the list and not, Unbeaten__1. Don't go claiming that you're the best yet : Damn your attack and defence experience, I still beat you on strength, hits, range and magic. One question, how the hell do you have such low hp?!?! I'm over 4.5M hits experience ahead of you despite you being 3M attack experience and 1M defence experience ahead of me. 4.5M hits experience is 13.5M combat experience + 4M = 17.5M experience I'm up on you somewhere :o. Let's see, 7.2M strength experience and 7.5M range experience, still about 2.5M short, I wonder where that extra 2.5M (833k hits experience) combat experience has come from :shock:

Ranged 1 2,866 99 15,105,911 :) Believe that makes me the best ranger out of all the tip.it staff! Sorry McGuff! Ooh, I have more range experience than all the mod trainees put together 8-) Infact, I top every single combat related high score other than prayer for the mod trainees O:)

Can you tell me how cannons and chinchompas aren't "proper ranging methods"? Grats on the 15m xp btw, 10/10. I don't consider throwing exploding animals as range really, I just think the way people use it to train range is just "cheap", cannon I don't mind though. I also don't respect people who afk at bandits all day to get melee experience. I've gotten 99% of my experience from using bows and crossbows, on methods where I actually have to be at the computer and pay attention to what is going on not like people who just AFK train every skill under the sun.

And got range to more experience than attack, first time it's been like that in a while. Been ranging miths non-stop for the past few days, killed over 100 today and killed 90 on Christmas with nothing, taking me to ~1500 killed without anything now, really starting to annoy me. I *may* try and get 20M range experience and thus get range as my highest skill, Think 19M range xp will be enough to get ahead of hits if I JUST range, but of course that won't happen. 20M range will be enough for the top 1,000 in range too, somewhere where I haven't been for a good couple of years now. None of my range experience has come from chins, and very little of it has come from cannon (500k at most) and none from Pest control, 99% of it has come from proper ranging methods.

That's not too stupid Val, I had an even more stupid moment earlier in the week. Was hunting and decided to hunt normal chins, seeing as I *thought* I remembered that I could hunt them. Set up box traps, tried for 40 minutes and hadn't caught a thing! Thought it was just me and my usual luck, then another 20 minutes later, still nothing. I open up the hunter guide to see i needed 53 hunter to catch them, when I was only 49... that was not funny :oops: Bats could drop eggs, I never even thought about that they didn't and if I *thought* they might be bat eggs I'd have killed them for a while too!

Zamorak potions do not boost your prayer and thus are completely useless. The problem with the mixes is that they count as food rather than potions and a lot of people know (Mainly pkers) that you can eat a piece of food and drink a potion quicker than it takes to eat two pieces of food. So that's also a major disadvantage.

You'd be surprised how many people barely meet the specs, there are a lot of older computers around and just because you personally don't know anyone with one doesn't mean there aren't any. I know someone who passes the specs, only just though and they still have 56k internet.

No, if you want Runescape in "full screen" set your resolution to 800x600. This has been asked thousands of times before.

That would be the stupidist thing in the history of stupid things. My Current IP changes each time the internet reconnects, not only that but I'm home from University and thus have a different IP there then here. Some people probably travel for work or something and thus are able to access Runescape from a lot of different places, banning someone for using a different IP is just plain stupid.

High ranked Jmods really don't have many things to do as low ranked. I have proof that Jmods are ranked... For example.. Mod Mat K is famous for being ingame.. and doing things.. and there have been events where big clans (300+ opts) gathered and suddenly everyone get a random event. That is just how the game works, random events are either triggered by an "event" such as alching, teleporting OR they happen at a point in the "timeline". I can't really explain it, but you know how pots go down? When that happens the game also does a fe other calculations and other things I believe, this is when randoms appear. So it's not strange for them to appear to multiple people at the same time. You can abuse this system to keep a certain level for longer, for example pot up to 76 fishing, catch a few shark, log out before the level down happens, log in and you'll be 76 for a few more minutes, rinse and repeat. I also know a few mods in game (Most of which are higher "ranked" than Mod Mat K and they're always busy when they're in game. Well there's one that appears to be constantly slacking, he's usualy on his noob account but he claims to be "testing something" on there, not sure how much I believe that though :P

Nothing is really more frequent than others, sometimes you go hundreds of monsters without one, other times you can get about 3 clues in 50 kills. It's probably best to kill something you can kill the most quickly

Another term that is misused in RS2 is "PJ" or "Pile Jump". Half the people on RS2 think it means something like "People jumping" and it's used all the time, like when someone else attacks you other than the person you're fighting.

Ooh, had no idea it was you, Hai! Even with the multi/non-multi you'd still be "teamed" in non-multi, which was really annoying. We can only hope that the 1 vs 1 thing we've been promised works well, that way Bounty hunter will be like multi and 1 vs 1 minigame will be like non-multi, without the tagging.

"You believe" it is mostly teams, apparently you haven't spent much time there... if you did you would notice that it is pking degraded to its lowest level. Everyone 1 items, and teams... it is pathetic at best. And knowing jagex there will definitely be a catch to the 1 v 1 arena, not to mention they most likely won't get around to implementing it for a couple months. I highly doubt they will allow 1 v 1 pking anything near what it used to be. most likely they will implement some points system, which if done correctly could work out well. I guess we'll just have to wait and see... in the meantime i'll be getting 99 ranged on my pure..... What do you mean "What it used to be"? I used to solo pk all the time, until it just became stupid. Couldn't solo at mage bank as you'd run into a team of about 10 people where most of the time you stood no chance and edge was just full of people that would run when they're down to 10 sharks, and you'd get pile jumped 90% of the time. It doesn't surprise me that Bounty hunter isn't doing well, the pking community has been rubbish for years now and I don't see that getting any better. However, that is not a problem with the game but with the people that play it and thus the only solution to the "problem" is for people to actually have respect for other people and a fair PvP system. If the 1 vs 1 PvP "minigame" is good which I'm sure it will be then I may just get back into pking.

As a clue "expert" I can tell you that the monster you get the clue off does not matter, only the level of the clue itself (1, 2 or 3). A clue from a Dagannoth king and a clue from a jelly have the same chance of giving you a a rare. Don't think I've had to post about this since the week TT came out, good time trying to discover how they worked.

What problem is there? You have bounty hunter for pking, although it's mainly teams I believe. Jagex said they're be adding a 1 vs 1 PvP mini-game for the people who want to "PK" 1 on 1. How can there be a solution when there is no problem?
