  1. If the way you want to play contradicts the way that other jerk wants to, then him > you in his book, you're gonna lose. People nowadays don't care if they're being jerks, as long as they get what they want, then it doesn't matter if you're happy. It's been like that for 2-3 years, better get used to it. Plus, it takes like a minute to switch worlds. Why don't you just hop? problem solved. I did change servers, twice. Three times actualy as the first time I changed someone was already killing the mages on that server, so guess what I did? I *shock* changed server again and found an empty one  Then keep hopping and eventually *shock* you'll find an empty world. Then why couldn't the other people have done that?

  3. In my six years of playing I do not recall once where I have taken other people's monsters, I always change if other people are at a certain monster. To FooK-A-Ji: Why shouldn't the rules of the "real world" apply to an online video game? Afterall, the fact that the game is played with other real people suggests that it should be. I'll use an example from a topic a couple of weeks back. If you were playing basketball in real life on a public area, but there was another free court right next to you and a bunch of people came along and started playing your court wouldn't you be annoyed? The same thing can be applied to this situation, just replace court with spiritual mages. I'm at the mages killing them, then someone comes along where there's a bunch more mages in the dungeon and loads of other worlds free but they still choose to stick around. What's the diffrence between the two examples? There isn't any difference, in both examples you're trying to enjoy something and someone else is coming along and ruining the experience when they can see that there's plenty of opportunity to be able to do what they're doing elsewhere without disrupting someone else? Fine, if all other mages were taken on the server, but they were not. I don't mind sharing as long as it's reasonable to do so. And on your cartoon comment, you act like cartoons can't be enjoyed by more mature people, you sound like one of those people that says video games are for kids when they clearly aren't, they're to be enjoyed by all ages. And for your information, I'm 18 and I often get mistaken for being quite a bit older than I actualy am. I have no idea where you got the I'm immature thing from. Yeah, I guess complaining about other people not behaving like people should behave is immature now...
  4. I think it's fair enough that I get annoyed at someone else stopping my enjoyment by stopping me play the game how I see fit, and that is playing the game with manners and realising that the other PEOPLE that are playing are that, PEOPLE. So obvious that you're just mad that you can't get the exp you expected you'd get, before another player logged in. Get over it, as someone else said. What you're saying is is that it's fine for them to play the game the way they want to, but I'm not allowed to play it the way I want? Seems fair to me!

  6. Trade logs, time spent playing and a few other things are recorded. I don't understand what you're asking though, I doubt they can see "Right, he clicked here, then here, then he pressed h, then he teleported to trollheim" etc.
  7. If you get enjoyment out of annoying other people then there's something seriously wrong with you that goes far beyond a game.
  8. No, that sounds more like an IRL situation, not Runescape. Most times people are what you call "rude", because they simply don't care about the other player, and why should they ?Its a game . As mentioned in the first post, they 2 people were obviously a much higher level, giving them an advantage to begin with, so why in the heck should they leave, when they are practically forcing out the smaller player just by being there. Now that might be harsh, but thats just the way it is. Actualy, I'm level 120 so the 110 wasn't higher than me. "Other players" are people too, so why should you not have manners? It may be an online game but that doesn't give people the right to be rude towards other REAL people does it? It's a mentality like that which these people most likely have and I bet you they wouldn't even try to do such a thing in real life, so why the hell should they do it in a game?
  9. Just finished a spritual mage task. Got a pair of dragon boots. For information on the pain I had to suffer while doing this task, check the general board for my topic there.
  10. It has, but never to this extent.
  11. I'm in the middle of doing a spiritual mage task. About 50 kills in a level 110 logs in and starts killing the ones I'm killing. I polietly ask him to leave, he says no and continues killing the ones I was killing, resulting in me getitng half or no experience for slayer... So I switch servers. Kill another 50 or so, then a levle 126 logs in and does exactly the same. Now anyone with a brain would be able to see that someone is there killing them for slayer, but nope even after I ask him to leave he refuses to and continues killing the ones I'm killing. This is a big problem in the game, although in other places it's not multi so it doesn't really make much difference. But killing the same monster than someone else is killing for slayer? I'm sorry, but that's just darn right rude. There's no reason to do such a thing, other than being annoying on purpose. Well either that or just stupid. The other day I was killing the zamorak bosses, a level 100 comes in and starts "helping" us. Another time two level 110s come in, and do the same. Of course me and my friend aren't exactly stupid and force them out by getting all four bosses on them. If they want to fight them, we'll let them, we were not going to do the hard work for them (Killing the 650 and the other meleer) while they stand there killing the other two without being in any real danger. Has anyone else experienced this recently? Does the God Wars Dungeon bring out the worst in people? Or have I just been lucky to avoid these type of people for the most part in the past 6 years?
  12. And it isn't like that now..?
  13. Later k which boss :P Zammy, only one I know how to kill =P
  14. Grats :D You should come to the GWD dungeon with me so I can get one too :D
  15. My friend got 3 boot drops within 4 kills earlier, it's all luck. The drop rate is the same as it was on day 1, there is no proof stating otherwise. I've never seen any proof for any drop rate "nerfs" that have supposedly happened. I recently went a few thousand iron dragons without a single draogn drop, does that mean the drop was nerfed? No, it means I was unlucky.
  16. Now this is what I was saying, people like this come in and it turns into a giant insult fight.
  17. The furthest I remember back is when it was the top 2,000, think it might have even been less than that before that too.
  18. ~3000 people got banned and not many people have logged in/out who are now elligible for the hiscores that weren't before.
  19. Yes, that's what I'm using. But you'll need either a USB controller or the wireless adaptor for your PC.
  20. Yeah, I'll probably be on again tommorrow. Really tired and have a headache so I'm off to bed too.
  21. It just kicked me out and now I can't get back in :
  22. The problem is is that most people who would be worth communicating with via this already have another server they can use. It's a good idea, but with the runescape community as it is a public TS will never work in my opinion.
  23. Unclean herbs are the equivilent to uncut gems. Most things you say that are bad about unclean herbs also apply to uncut gems, so unless you want those changed too...
  24. Surely once they're dead they don't have a chance to not fall for the same thing again...
  25. I don't see how it'll make herb prices RISE. I have never really trained herblore so I might be wrong about this but from the point of a slayer I often don't pick up herbs due to the fact I don't want to spend time iding them just to get some guams. If I see a "Grimy Ranarr" on the floor I'll be more likely to pick it up and same with a lot of high level herbs, with more herbs activly in the game surely the price has to fall.
