I remember when construction came out, I knew it was coming out and had just recently bought 100k oak logs for ~20 each, sold them the day they came out for about 400 each average ;) Nice 380 profit per, 38M profit, and I was still in the top 20 for construction on the first day. Unfortunately, this time I don't know what'll be used so I can't do that.

Server costs are probably more than that, and don't forget that Andrew isn't the only one behind this, Paul is also involved and probably gets quite a large share of it.

Apologies for not updating in a while, been busy with University things along with a bloody annoying cough. Did a few duel Arena tournaments and in my 2nd ever one: Not bad, I've gotten to a few finals since then, lost a few by a couple of HP but haven't won any more sadly. With the release of Grand Exchange I took advantage of it and sold over 20M gp worth of "useless" things in my bank, this took me up to ~30M gp, I then sold my whip, most barrows armour and fury to fund the purchase of a Bandos Godsword. Loving the sword so far, very useful. I then headed to abyssal demons to try and get some money back when I got this level: Was only 120k off it, so decided I might as well get it. Defiantly going to be getting 99 defence next, I've also gone from 61-64 herblore in the past few days which is nice, just need one more level to id, sorry, clean cadantines then one level after that to make super defence potions finally. Killed about 200 demons while I was there, got a clue which needs doing, a rune med, about 4 loop halves and this: Dragon Drop #33, Dragon med # 7, Dragon med #3 from abyssals. Which puts Abyssal demons 2nd in most dragon drops off a single monster. For those wondering: Steel Dragons - 6 skirts, 2 legs Abyssal Demons - 3 Meds, 1 spear Greater Demons - 2 Shields, 1 spear King Black Dragon - 3 Meds Kalphite Queen - 2 Chains Bronze Dragon - 1 skirt Iron dragon - 1 skirt Fire giants - 1 med Dagannoth Kings - 10 Axes Think that's right anyway, as you can see still missing a d2h and a large... blah!

There have been very few rollbacks that happened because of an in-game event. The duping back in classic did not even force a rollback, which in my opinion is the biggest "event" in Runescape history. Although there's another event very very few people were effected by that in comparison. Most Rollbacks are due to server problems where data was not saved correctly.

"A Gory, Drying Banshee" could mean they're going to be updating all the slayer monsters. I hope so, they really do look left behind in terms of looks.

Nice assumptions based on nothing. Jagex will surely have tested it thoroughly to make sure that the game works as lag free as possible, I highly doubt they'd put it in if it did cause huge lag. Anyway, back on Topic, what's to say they're going to move Runescape to another platform? Maybe they're just trying to get a general idea of what consoles etc. people own for future development of *gasp* future games that AREN'T Runescape.

your chatbox tells you when your antifire runs out :-w I'm pretty sure it doesn't, unless they changed it recently. There's no message saying it's run out, but of course it no longer displays "your potion prevents some damage" or whatever.

Sounds if a life saver, ONLY indication that your anti-fire pot has run out. So to get the most efficient trips to dragons then sound is a must.

Don't complain, it took me over 5,000 iron dragons to get a skirt, with nothing else in-between. Consider yourself lucky!

Gg, I do not understand your post at all. Anyway, if they DO set a price of items as they come out it'll help us determine how "rare" it is depending on it's starting price compared to similar items. Although just think about, if there was GE when godwars came out, Jagex would have most likely set all 4 hilts to the same price which obviously would be the wrong move to make. Hopefully Jagex let us decide on the price before dumping it in GE.

More like 3M lost because you were too stupid to pay attention while doing something risky. Your own fault, it wouldn't have been any different before the update so you can't blame the update on your own idiocy.

With things such as Party hats it would make a difference. For example the other week I borrowed my friend's red hat and gave it back to him after a few minutes. Say that 5 other people sold a red hat for 200M each, that's 1B total for SEVEN trades when it should be FIVE. So instead of the "average" being 200M it'd be 1B/7 = 143M average. Of course those number are probably way off and I'm sure that more party hats than that are traded. But they'd on do the average over a short period of time to deal with the changing economy. Probably only a few days at a time.

Your "method" will not work due to people giving items away or swapping them for other items. Not sure how they do it, but I assume they have a number of people monitoring the prices of pretty much every item in the game.
