I completely agree!!! Whoever did it without the guide (like the ones making the guide for it), I give all the credit in the world to! That was my very last one before quest cape. Now that I have my cape, i just do them right when they come out without guide cause its fun and i've met my goal of doing all the quests. : Heh, I did it when it first came out, although I wasn't allowed to write a guide for it as a direct instruction from Mod Mark. I used to do all the quests when they first came out and write guides for them for another site. However now I don't really have time to even do quests, although this weekend I'm spending it rushing through the quests I haven't done, did 6 or 7 yesterday, have to do about that much again today, using a guide for them. Mainly to tell me what items I need before hand.

That is an interesting way of doing dragon "smithing". The ability to update previous dragon armour to make it better, although it'd only have a use with chain --> plate and even then that wouldn't be a platebody it'd be a chain with bigger shoulder pads. And maybe have a use with axe (add another head to get a pickaxe). I honestly don't know what the reward could be but hopefully something worthwhile. Now to do all the quests I haven't done yet -.-

It's not even that, I don't know what it is. I guarantee that I'd do a lot better than Satch Boogie "solo" if it was hammerons but oh well. The Ramblin' man outro was a pain, really surprised I didn't choke there lol.

A load of people have been complaining about them including people such as JLC. Neversoft insist they're not broken and have the same window, there's just something about them that sucks.

HOPO's are fine, the purple notes aren't. There is no longer an infinite window at the start of HOPOs like there was in GH3 but other than that the timing window is identical.

Both of them are good games. Guitar Hero World Tour has very few good songs though and none of those are terribly difficult (Satch Boogie isn't even that hard and it'd be really easy if the purple notes weren't broken). I passed all other songs on that and all songs on RB2 on sightread however I didn't get a single sightread FC on GHWT and got about 10 on RB2 (And about another 15 Gold stars :s). Rock Band 2 has a lot of easy songs but has a better set list and a lot more songs which are fun to play. Although quite a lot of the tracks overlap from one to the other which is annoying. I'll be going back to GHWT more often then I'll be going back to RB2, same as how it was with GH3 and RB1, Guitar Hero series just has something about it that makes you want to go back to it. Maybe it's the fact that it's far more competitive than rock band is.

Noticed that earlier too but the download times were nothing so it's not too bad. Should go away in the next couple of days.

Meh, it's pretty average, it sounds rubbish imo and the chat isn't all that fun. It would also be better without that purple rubbish and had hammerons instead but bleh.

This one time on the Tip.It forums I saw this guy, but instead of having a normal username colour, his was GREEN! It went around locking topics so no one could post in them any more as they were filled with spam! I don't have a picture as it took me by surprise. What I mean to say is: This thread is filled with spam - locked.

It's the little things that make it better, the more you use it the more you'll like it.

I have RB2 now. Played through the challenges and beat them all without failing (expert guitar) and am mostly done with career I think. Just got my best rock band FC to date. (Don't Fear) The Reaper. Wasn't expecting it at all and it came up in a random setlist so :s Haven't played it in a month or two so that's why it was so surprising and I've never even gold starred it before in RB1. [hide=FC!]Ignore my name on there :P [/hide] I have to see breakneck speed makes a HUGE difference, I could play with the original speed fine (unlike GH where the normal speed is too slow) but I do so much better with it on :o

Anyway, i have RB2 now and I have to see that RB2 is somehow easier than world tour :s Finished it and haven't failed a single song (Or come close to failing), although I think that RB2 has a lot more "fun songs" On GH side of things I improved my score on TTFAF to 450k, 4 star! I can easily get that to 500k if not higher as I had a crap end and really a crap start to the song. Got 299k on CoP (Choked RIGHT at the end) so fell just short of my goal of 300k on that, argh. Had a really good run on KoC a week or so ago too, crappy star power so rubbish score but got 98% and something like -20 which I was delighted with.

512mb would like to say otherwise. That's why the Wii is useless for DLC, you just can't store enough on there.

It was leaked a while ago, you just need a USB thumb drive to install it. Or you could have gotten in (like I did) via connect.microsoft.com where you had to enter your details (ISP, console ID and some other things) and they picked you based on that. With this you can actually access live on the new dashboard unlike with the "leaked" version.

Very few topics actually require polls, if we allowed users to create polls then the amount of discussion that goes on will go down as people will read the topic then vote and not add to the discussion which is a very bad idea. If you do need a poll making for a topic then PMing a mod of that board and stating why you want a poll and they will decide if the topic warrants it or not.

A developer reportedly said that the new game they're making isn't working on the DSi.

Gah, just had a run where I completely messed up in Solo 3B (It's a pain in the arse) and FCed everything else (Overstrummed the outro >_<), left me with 97% :s FC is close, just got to get more consistent at Solo 3B and i'll have it. Ranked 28th on Scorehero for it now, but can get mucch better, always activate SP too early in the outro.

Maybe ;) Song is really annoying me, I either: mess up in the first 100 notes, make it to the last solo and miss there or miss in the outro. Song isn't too hard, just long and choketastic. I'm also working on another "FC", although I don't think it counts, have choked on the outro on this song so many times too.

'Vicarious'? Nope, The outro has over 200 notes in it. I've FCed it in Practice, just always mess up in a real run. I've got a rubbish score for the song because I always quit when I miss a note and never finish it, same with a lot of songs actually, I just restart when I miss, then quit :P)

The main song I'm working on now has the worst outro ever, argh. Choked there so many times it's not even funny :s
