But magic hasn't been tweaked at all, it's stayed the same over the years. Sure it's had a few big additions but once they've been put into the game they haven't changed. Magic is definitely up there too, but I feel ranged has just had more significant changes. They weren't tweaked because they weren't over/underpowered. I would say adding new things like the ancient/lunar spell books and even the addition of rcing add up to more than some of the minor tweaks you mentioned with crossbows and things. Minor tweaks? The magic short bow nerf made range pking next to impossible due to having no ability to KO other people. The crossbow update has completely changed how range is done, people use crossbows all the time instead of magic short bow now and it's the "most" useful for bosses. The Ancient spellbook is pretty much useless outside of PvP (With the exception of rock lobsters pretty much). Lunars are very rarely used from my experience and it's really only one or two spells in it that are used. The evolution of Ranged has had a much bigger effect on the game than that of magic.

RS logs you out after 6 hours of being logged in. So log in 6 hours before RM updates, log out after the new "day" starts, you then have 30 hours instead of 24. I think that members will have more money per person on average than F2P and by quite a margin too. However overall due the sheer amount of people in F2P they'd have more money surely.

Wait until you play it. On scorehero the Hardware section is filled with posts about how the touchpad is faulty and the drums suck. In Misc GH Discussion, its filled with glitches and rants about the bad interface. I'm going to hold off on buying it for now. Interface is horrid, it's impossible to see anything outside of the fret board, the note streak thing that comes up every 100 is also impossible to see so that's hard to keep track of. The people that approved this have no clue :s

Band play on world tour is rubbish, fret board just doesn't seem big enough and you can only see a note or two ahead. This was with just a guitarist and bassist, assume it gets worse with a drummer and singer too. Rock Band have it right, just seems I'll be playing this for the guitar parts once again and just ignore the co-op features.

A 1k improvement on my score on monsoon moves me up to 2nd. Still 2k points behind 1st, no idea where he's getting those points, although a squeeze in the last activation could be an additional 1200 points (2 3 note chords) and doing the same in the activation before that would be an addtional 800.. so I guess that's where those 2k points are. ARGH! I haven't even tried squeezing at all yet, and I wanted to get a 1st on a song :( Oh well 2nd will do for now.

Just got 3rd for Monsoon on GH:WT :( 400 points behind 2nd and 4k behind 1st so obviously my paths are wrong or I'm activating at the wrong time bleh! Have about 10 top 10s at the moment, those will of course go down over the next week days as more people get the game, I want to try and get top in one song though :(

Expert should be for people who are good enough to play it, it shouldn't be dumbed down just so people can say they can beat expert. The lack of any extremely tough songs was a huge disappointment, make them "bonus" songs like TTFAF was so the average joe doesn't even have to play them, give those of us who want a challenge have it.

Don't know how to describe it, sort of "randomly spamming" mixed with going for the notes. All I know is that when I can get a good run in it it's usually a good run, other times I just fail epically. Anyway, I've "beaten" GH:WT now, got the achievements for finishing it on Expert (It's also stackable, so you get easy, medium etc.), still have a few "bonus" songs to beat, only one song I have actually failed on and that's Satch Boogie, should have it beat in a few tries, only tried a couple of times last night, the new slide sections are what screws me over in it :s Very disappointed with it to be honest, Satch Boogie is the only "hard" song and that's not even up to Raining blood's standard, every song other than that is easy to pass with a few that are hard to do well on but I wasn't anywhere near failing them :s Going to finish off all songs on Guitar then move onto bass and see how that is in career.

:o I can get 4x multiplier (30 note streak) on FSA one handed occasionally, can almost always manage to get >10 notestreak at some point in it. Most I've ever got was a 50ish note streak. This is just from playing the song normally, not doing it in practice. Highest % of FSA I've had one handed is about 90%. Shame I suck at Darkness section and the bit after FSA :P

Guitar Hero world tour is fun :D Some of the new mechanics take a while to get used to and I had a quick go on the bass, the open notes make it a lot harder. Done about 50% of the solo career I think, some good songs a lot of forgettable ones in there. Assassain by Muse is a hand killer, constantly alt strumming pretty much :evil:

Disabling just images and avatars is the quickest way to do it, that way you can still see the text etc. in the signatures and click on pictures to have them displayed but they won't load unless you tell them too. Less changing when you want to browse the forums from a PC again either.
