Ooh shiny, me like. :o Been thinking of getting one for a while was just waiting for them to release a new version.

My parents never said anything and I would have been slightly annoyed if they did. If I spent less time on a computer than I did I probably wouldn't be as interested in Computers as I am and would have hindered me long term as for a long time I've wanted a career in computers. Runescape teaches several things, has puzzles to solve and many more things, a lot of parents do not understand video games at all which annoys me. Being ignorant about it and only going by things in the press about it being "bad" is just silly. As long as it's not effecting your life in a bad way they shouldn't limit your time using it if you choose to do it as a hobby, no different than watching TV.

100k slayer experience a day isn't even that much, 5-6 hours maybe, depends what tasks you get. With Piety and other things it's even quicker. Well done on the Slayer level, it's a fun skill to train.

He's getting home tutored and is doing it for more reasons than just to play GH.

I don't see why people DON'T do clues. They take 5-15 minutes and offer a break from training slayer/camping at whatever. Most rewards are worth 100k or so, which is quite nice. Plus the relatively high chance of getting something better (Probably works out at something like 1/5 chance) I've done probably thousands of level 3 clues and have had probably >100M in loot, which while compared to people camping at GWD is nothing but it's 100M more than I'd have without doing them. Although my best reward was my first one ever, Sara plate and Sara kite, sold them for ~4M (This was when Party hats were <10M), you'd have though a thousand or more later I'd have had something better by now :lol:

why not wait flamming the update before it out? it just might bring something fun to the skill(which i infact like and find relaxing) Flaming an update to the Firemaking skill? :lol: This just means that there will be a "proper" update next week, we always knew there'd be one week without one and these updates while small are useful and are the sort of things that are included with the "proper" updates but people tend to look over.

To answer this question it depends on what type of person you are. It's a game with huge replayability only if you are willing to improve which requires quite a bit of time. Improving your scores and moving up difficulties is a lot of fun. But if you're the type of person who wants instant sanctification it's probably not for you.

I remember the first time I played GH3, they had it outside of HMV and I played my friend. He was on Easy, the guys asked me if I played before (I hadn't touched a GH game ever) and i said no and went to Medium. Played Suck my Kiss IIRC, I got like 91% and the guys there were like "Are you SURE you've never played this before", I only beat my friend by like 600 points though, as he was on easy he could get his NS up higher more often.

FCed slow ride, 215k or something, can't remember. Improved my Don't Speak score by 2.6k moving me up to 58th (From 104th) :D

Slowly getting towards 20M, pretty much all xp from <14M Range to now have been at miths :wall:

Well I had an hour or so flight earlier this summer to Berlin, but I was just talking to my friend mainly, and we got free food so that occupied a few minutes. On the way back we also talked to the person sitting next to us. When I went to Florida 8 years ago it was a 9 hour flight, mainly watched the TV/films they had on the built in screens and slept, but that was because we flew out at about 5am in the morning and I had to wake up at like 2am to get to the airport. I had a 7 hour coach journey to get back home from uni where I played my DS, on the way back up I watched a few films on my laptop (Which I got for Christmas). Just listened to music on my MP3 player too, just normal stuff.

To be perfectly honest I'd rather they just made servers where the wilderness was PKing-able (But with the new reward system). People are going to arrange meeting places to do the "pking" anyway, seems a bit silly to have the WHOLE world as the people there will most likely only be there to PK. I also hope they make NEW servers for these instead of putting them in current servers, some places are crowded as it is and having people have "less" choice to go to will be bad. Will have to see what the rewards are,, but what's to stop you just killing your friends over and over (I assume a system similar to BH that shows how much your opponent has)

An increase in file size was needed, so glad to see this change =D> Although I personally think 100kb is too big, don't see why anyone would need it to be that size, 60 would have been fine in my opinion.
