  1. first 1k(actually, first 25k) mining, smithing and selling bronze/iron things. then promptly blew it all on an addy pick! :XD: first 100k: smelting steel bars first 1mill: selling a bunch of stuff in my bank(got to 3 mill, before that I only had like 300k. I don't know what to do with all the cash!)
  2. or you could mine coal till lvl 84 mining and then stout rune, may take a while shorter.
  3. good job! I am going to try to powermine up to 84, then just stout rune. I've already powermined up 3 lvls, but I've got a way to go! good luck man! u gonna sell all the coal, or make stuff?
  4. another skill you could easily raise is your mining. you could get about 35k mining xp and hour powermining, if you don't mind powermining.
  5. not really a low total lvl, maybe a little bit. but seeing that over 1/3 that your xp is in 1 skill, you could easily raise your lvls very quickly I'm sure.
  6. yea it's ok. how could they stop you from minimizing the game or visiting other websites while playing the game? that would be stupid. btw, compfreak847, I like your screenie sig...
  7. good guide. unfortunately for my main I didn't think much about the name(mr sir17). but I have other accounts that have better names: menace2rs ajollybear raresgalore if I were to switch names with my main, I would put menace2rs on my main... =D>
  8. nope, once you finish it you'll get def xp, therefore it is impossible. #-o
  9. depends on how quickly you get traded. I'm sure you can do more like 70 trades an hour if it's super busy.
  10. great guide! 10/10! I can't mine rune yet, but I've gone there a couple times just to explore etc. and there is often pkers there.
  11. I think that the fire alter is closer to the bank than the body alter. maybe not as the crow flies, but for the body alter you have to walk around a couple things. and the fire alter is a pretty direct route from the bank.
  12. It'll probably take closer to 10 hours, but a little less is very possible, depending on: -competition -respawn rate(faster in busier worlds, I hear) -your dedication -your computer speed.
  13. across the river from limbridge there are 2 fly fishing spots. they are the fastest xp. (I think faster than barb village) right now I am training there, but to make it go faster I am teleporting to lumbridge castle every time I have a full load, then just run/walk the rest of the way.
  14. I just came back after not playing for like a month. that's what happens when I try to powermine... :XD: if I get bored I try something new. sometimes I sell a bunch of stuff and see how much money I can get, sometimes I train a skill, sometimes I take a break, and sometimes I just tough it out until I reach a goal, then do something else.
  15. use a scout, because quite a few f2p worlds have pkers in them by the rune rocks.
  16. i find it only kind of addicting, in that if I am by myself I would either be playing rs or working on my car! a year ago I was more addicted than I am now. I don't let it run my life, and I would MUCH rather be playing hockey or hanging with my friends than playing runescape... much as I enjoy runescape.
  17. I dunno if they buy high prices, but I think they sell for low prices.
  18. he would have had to play... 12-14 hours a day? pretty much no-lifeing it... that wouldn't even be fun. :-s I, too , am going for 84 mining(then using dwarven stout). I have about 1,200,000 or so xp to go, but I am powermining, and at the amount I play each day it'll still take about 3 months... rune is definately worth it. if you got 28 in 1 hour, that would be close to 300k an hour... a pretty decent living. earning millions is never going to be easy unless you have, like, an unlimited supply of buyers and sellers to make profit off of merchanting.... so yea mining rune is one of the best ways(THE best way for f2p) to get GP.
  19. yea I forgot it the first time. never thought he'd hit 51.... he then finished me off with another 6 damage and I lossed my rune full helm, back then, that was a huge deal. #-o
  20. I think it's a pretty cool idea. it would just have to be on non-combat skills. maybe if the tourist somehow uses a spell to stop the autoer from running away...
  21. definately the yo-yo. next the chicken. unfortunately those were the first 2 holiday events I witnessed but I didn't do them, but my sisters account has them! #-o I would say white party hat, but the only thing attractive about that, other than it is kind of neat, is it's enormous price.
  22. I played for 2 years training my skills, now I have about 4 mill worth of stuff and plenty o' f2p skills! for my next few mill I'm gonna train my mining to 85....
  23. if you broke the rules you deserve to be banned. yes it takes work not to break the rules, it can be tempting sometimes! but why have the price of yews/coal gone drastically down? autoers why is it difficult to train some skills, to buy arrows(sometimes there are auto-arrow buyers who sell later for higher, I went to about 10 different worlds and there were autoers with variations of the same name in all of them...) and just have fun? the answer is autoers and other rulebreakers. I would have a zero-tolerence for rulebreakers if I was on the jagex staff, even if the player was p2p. I started about 2.5 years ago, just playing about 45min.-1hour a day and look where I'm at! you could have gotten very far if you started again 4 years ago!
