If we are to be technical, Finland is not included in Scandinavia, but it is one of the Nordic countries. ;) But I agree, Norway/Denmark/Sweden/Iceland/Finland could easily be grouped together.

For those of you complaining about bumping an old topic: He did add to the topic, which makes it okay. As he also said, he could have made a new topic and added a link to this one, but I won't lock this topic as discussion is going on. However I did remove about 10 spam posts with wonderful insightful comments like "old topic is old", "fail bump" and "nice necro", in addition to some other comments that basically just pointed out that the topic was old. Sadly, the videos are still up for everyone to view. They were removed from YouTube, but not before some people had the time to download and reupload them on another site. In my opinion he doesn't deserve that kind of attention, and worst case scenario some other mentally unstabile kid gets "inspired". To me, the most unbelievable thing about this is that the police questioned him and let him go - with his firearm. I can't see any reasonable argument for someone to be allowed that if there is reason to suspect that they might be a danger to someone. Judging from the videos, the police had to be pretty naive if they believed he was just training range shooting. In the following weeks, I bet we will hear stories from his family members, classmates and other people close or halfway close to him, all saying they had a feeling that he might end up doing something bad. We see that with pretty much all the school shootings, and it always makes me wonder why noone reacted sooner. You can't undo something like this, but I strongly believe you can prevent a lot of the possible explosive cases by reacting sooner. Hope none of you were personally affected by this shooting, I know some of you live close to Kauhajoki and have family and friends in the same age group as the victims.

Skype should have been an option, not just "other". A lot of people use it without thinking that it belongs with TS/Vent. I prefer Skype over TS simply because you don't get cut off if more than one person speaks at the same time.
