The Dragon Hunter
Love the story so far, it really catches the reader's attention. I relish what you did in the beggining, introducing the characters in an intense scene. Keep up the good work :D

UPDATED: 5/20/07, medium update Still writing. Ratings/comments/suggestions/spell and grammar check are gladly accepted! Also if you have the time bump the story on the RSOF: 49-50-99-43383006. Part I: Page 1, page 3 -- Chapter one -- Chapter two -- Chapter three -- Chapter four -- Chapter five Part II: Page 3 -- Chapter six -- Chapter seven -- Chapter eight Part I: Origin Chapter One Daughin Buetford was an adventurer. He traveled from the Kingdom of Misthalin, where he lived in the quiet side of Varrock in a decent-sized wooden shack. The ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâquiet side̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢, as many folks had named it, was virtually rid of thieves. Most of the people living in the area were in poverty who really didn't have anything worth stealing. Daughin (pronounced Duaf-hin) was actually among the wealthy in this section; he sold his collections from his adventures to the general store owner, Bob. Bob had always relished his findings and had never turned one down. He offered him quite a bit of money, but Daughin would refuse and only accept half of it. He was a kind man, an honest man; unlike many citizens of Varrock. Apart from adventuring, Daughin enjoyed fishing. Every week or so, he would leave his hut and depart on a long trip to Catherby, a small but crowded town to the west. His friends claimed he found fishing ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãârelaxing̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢. They also mentioned it was a tad ironic, as his stories of his adventures always seemed to be dangerous and life threatening. Still, he fished by the sunny beach where he grew an apple tree he watched over. Sometimes he would sit on the soothing sand, read a book, and bite into an apple. Very few doctors roam the lands of Gleinor, it just isn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t a popular profession. Most folks would rather be blasting a fire wave at their enemies than treating them. Well, if anyone wanted to be a doctor or a nurse, they would probably find a good job at the Duel Arena. The Duel Arena is certainly not a place to relax and bite into an apple. Meleers, mages, and rangers from all over the lands come to test their strength in a fight between another. The results are extremely gruesome. The injured are laid on the bloody table, needles and stitches fly everywhere, and in a short moment, the wounds are healed, and the fighter continues on. In some cases though, victims die before they can reach an empty table. Charles 'O Raley was one of the doctors in the arena. Every day, around three thousand patients were treated. He helped with around two thirds of them. His father was a doctor, and his father was a doctor and so on. 'O Raley was really almost forced into treating the bloody. He had a wife and two children, both he wanted to train to become as professional as him. Being a doctor is hard, stressful, and mind racing; but he enjoyed it. Charles had been working for thirteen years; he was forty-four (quite old for a doctor). He was one of the best doctors along with ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅBloody̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Question on hero's
no... not the quest... The pickpocketable NPC's. I am currently 101K exp away from 80 thieving writing this very sentence. Very very close to heros. I just have one question: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=thieving_ ... pickpocket Knights give 50gp right? As listed on tip.it Paladins give 80gp and 2 chaos right? As listed with comma's on tip.it Well does that mean when you sucessfully pickpocket a hero you will recieve 100-300gp, death runes (2), blood runes (1), wine, cut diamond, gold nugget, fire orb. All of that for pickpocketing once? Wow... if thats for real I'm gonna thieve like crazy. Well... is it true or do you just recieve a random item from that list(unlike the list for paladins in which you recieve 100 percent 2 chaos and 80gp) and not all of that? -thanks :mrgreen:

~~~~~ Desert Wars Minigame Suggestion ~~~~~
indeed. 90 stats are fairly hard to reach, and I'm sure some medium levels could be just as effective. I doubt summoning will come out soon... :(
Wait... if someone teleblocks you you can't tele away... you just said you do?! :? And as said earlier, most teleblockers don't waste their time on such low level pking as the abyss. EDIT: heh.. quadruple digit posts :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
Lunar Diplomacy with 56 Crafting
No, I believe to start the quest requires 61 crafting, as the guy turns you away if you don't. I'm also stuck with 59 crafting trying to do this quest. :(
All but three quests complete!!!!! *need help*
I know about the stews, but last time I tried a three spiced one it didn't exactly work well. Although I could try it again I suppose... make around 50 stews. Same with herbeeblore. That would mean I would only need 51 herblore. :mrgreen:
All but three quests complete!!!!! *need help*
1. Get it to 63 and buy a Mature Dwarven Stout from a player. I suggest using Iron or Steel Bars and mining it yourself. 2. I think turning flax into bow strings is better. 3. This is a tough one. If you have 1 million gold or more you could herb mercent. IDing thousands of herbs is actually very good XP. 4. Your screwed :XD: 1. Get it to 63? er how... and lucky for you I just finished forgettable tale which rewards two mature dwarven stouts for completion :mrgreen: . 2. Hell no, that's extremely slow exp, I still like my molten glass idea 3. Herb merchant? Oh dears never have... 4. thanks...
All but three quests complete!!!!! *need help*
I'm coming quite close to obtaining the quest cape, but still lack only 4 quests(one which I have all the stat requirements). The other three are Lunar dimplomacy(61 crafting), devious minds(65 smithing), and Fairy tale part II(57 herblore). So I have a couple questions: 1) I currently have 59 smithing, how should I get to 65 without it costing me mils? 2) I've always hated crafting but now I've gotten it to 59/61. I was thinking about just purchasing molten glass til 61, tell me if you have any another ideas. 3) Herblore... oh dear lord. 49 Herblore currently, and I know herblore is extremely hard to level. I have access to the chaos druid warriors, but I calculated it would take tons upon tons of hours to level herblore just going down there. 4) Anyone have any general tips for MM part II? :ohnoes: I believe I got frustrated and quit on the fourth door a couple months ago.
The Abyss: A complete runecrafting guide (AoW Disccusion)
I'll have to disagree with you. The elf crystal has three charges max and costs money to recharge. You also must walk to the elves who enchant it, and even though they are not that far away from the elf city, sometimes you have to wait 5 minutes for them to return. Ectophial has unlimited teleports and is free. It is also right beside a bank, and the quests to use it are extremely easy. The elf crystal on the other hand requires that you complete a rather challenging long storyline of the plague, including Underground Pass. And thank you for the compliment :D just kill elfs tiil youahve a 100 crystals recharge all 150 gp only per cryst after 5 recgarges wha tis only 50 gp per tele to save your life and 100 crsytal times 100 tele is 300 teles which will be enough for like 100k nats :D Oh dear lord? 100 crystals... that would drive anyone insane. I still prefer the ectophial as it contains unlimited free teleports.
The Abyss: A complete runecrafting guide (AoW Disccusion)
It cuts into rcing time, and it requires quite a high construction level to make. I prefer the old fashion way of just recharging your glories. Althougḫ̢̢ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ it would help actually if you had less than 5 glories or none at all. You would of course have to buy the teletablets(or make your own). Now that I think about it, not a bad idea. I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll think about adding it. Well same works for the ecto. If you die in the ectophial teleport area, you can easily re-teleport there when you die and pick up your stuff. Like all other NPC̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s the mage walks around, so it would be quite hard for a pker to stand still long enough to catch you by surprise. Thanks :) When they attack the skeletons, you actually have the same advantage if they didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t. For when they attack the skeletons, they can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t attack you. Although if they kill all the skeletons, you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re in trouble. But I have never personally had this happen to me. When I say ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâsnare̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢, like many others, I am refering to all three ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâsnare̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢like spells. :P I was going to mentiion this too. You might want to add that when you head towards the skeletons, if you see all red dots instead of yellow dots (or no dots at all if they picked up the bones) on the mini-map, watch out! And you might want to add that you should always check your energy level before you enter the wilderness. It really stinks to get to level 3 Wilderness and run out of energy. I like your dot strategy, I will think about adding that. Ah, thank you. Forget to mention this important strategy of constantly checking your energy level.
The Abyss: A complete runecrafting guide (AoW Disccusion)
Not all the times, but if you time it right you may have the chance to tele out. As long as you bring a one click tele I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t see why you would use your glory which requires three clicks, unless of course you do not personally bring a one click tele. Good suggestions of the pictures. I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m sure sometime I can go to castle wars and preform some of these spells. I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve added a couple more, including the banner since it was updated into version 2.2. I was actually thinking of adding the inventory and equipment, just as a sort of mini guide because it is not really a strategy. EDIT: Just updated it with the inventory and equipment. :D Also: love your sig :mrgreen: Thanks :) Maybe you should think about rcing, it is quite profitable. It isn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t boring at all unlike regular rcing, the pkers make sure of that.
The Abyss: A complete runecrafting guide (AoW Disccusion)
OR instead of going to an altar at all, just log out (takes off teleblock) then teleport straight to Edgeville Bank. Extremely good idea, I need to mention that.
