  1. Suggested by the extremely popular Bank Suggestion Thread. You couldn't have missed it.
  2. Which means Pures would slowly crumble. Yay!
  3. Fantasy is one thing, but there are limits to what fantasy can contain, and that does not include serious breaches to Physics and Common Sense, such as Armoured Capes. Do you people seriously think Capes were used for... defense? No sir! They were only used for decoration purposes, and maybe as a protection against cold. Like said before, Capes can cause serious problems in battle. Armoured Capes are stupid, considering you cannot control where you want the cape to be very well (like shields), and also that you would be probably wearing armour anyway so extra defense would be useless (the shield is used for deflecting attacks mostly), and that it would seriously lower agility; which is simply not worth it considering its uselessness.
  4. What about Warriors and Rangers? They don't use much money at all. If you ask me the cost for raising a Mage should be made more reasonable compared to Warriors and Rangers. Warriors: Expensive Armour and Weapons with almost no Upkeep Cost. Rangers: Cheap Armour and Weapons with Medium Upkeep Cost. Mages: Expensive Armour and Weapons with Expensive Upkeep Cost. I think Mages should have their Upkeep Cost reduced at least to the level of Rangers.
  5. And Hotkeys also comes under the Mouse and Keyboard Interface. What are you talking about?
  6. Magic exists in Runescape because people used to believe in Magic, and Science cannot disprove the existence of the mana stream either (even though it can't prove it, and most likely doesn't exist). But as it is perfectly logical, it can be implemented in Runescape. However, I do believe Science laws like Physics still apply, so Armoured Capes, as a physical thing, would not work; while Magic, with no ties to science, can.
  7. ... Way too good? Well actually, yes many of them are overpowered. In my opinion however, Restoration is underpowered. I mean, a few pieces of food and you could've been using Protect... I think it should be like, use ten Prayer Points and heal twenty HP, not drain all your Prayer at once...
  8. There are things called "joints". I do hope you are not under the impression our Skeletal System is one whole mass of bones... But I see your point. But I might also state that Plate Gauntlets exist, and their agility restriction has minimal impact in battle.
  9. It probably would be an extension to the Options menu, or a seperate menu.
  10. Of course. Does it sound unreasonable to you? It does destroy the whole idea of the Rune Essence Mine, and the Abyss, etc... Runecrafting would be devestated if this happened.
  11. I hope they make a rule to autolock every topic similar to this one...
  12. Amour capes? Did I hear wrongly, or has this person not thought this idea out through, or is it just spam? We already have armoured boots. Gauntlets have been suggested recently. Armoured capes... well, you must know very little about... everything I suppose, or you are simply joking. In that case I would say the joke is in very bad taste. There really, really seems to be an influx of stupid suggestions lately.
  13. The God Letters: one of the gods (I forgot which) states the Black Armour are decorative armour, so they cannot be smithed. This is also why they can be trimmed: they are meant to be decorative.
  14. *Grits teeth* It is a RANDOM EVENT. Do you seriously think it is that common? Heck, it would probably happen only one in ten thousand times! Lord!
  15. This idea is so commonly posted I don't want to post on them any more, except that the complications that would arise would confuse the brains of many Runescapers.
  16. They removed Firemaking! Horaay!
  17. I don't see why you want hotkeys for just melee attack. The conventional way is easy enough. You don't have to use hotkeys if you don't want to... the hotkeys are self-assignable, and you can still use convewntional methods to do things. You can only assign them to specific keys, like the F1 keys and such; and maybe the Insert, Home, etc. keys. That solves the chatting problem. If you mean magical attacks, press hotkey, it activates the spell and has the thing "cast spell on..." like it does normally. Only you can simply use a hotkey to activate the spell. Does that solve your problems, Znicho?
  18. I think this guy just wants easy money. He even stated himself it could be used this way. = ="
  19. Indeed. SO let us just forget this.
  20. Or maybe the new Dragon Pickaxe would get that special lol... But the Pickaxe isn't a weapon (the Axe is...), so... nah. Maybe the SeerCull Bow should get that special instead too, since its special now is easily cured by a Restore Potion.
  21. Not even. They could be just minding their own business and ZOOM! They get teleported into the Wilderness and PKed. You might as well find someone who is wearing a Party Hat, teleport/run into the Wilderness, and then teleport the guy to your position and kill him.
  22. If that is what JAGeX intended, they would make it that way. Besides, I don't think they did... it is rather obvious JAGeX intends each rune to be a seperate object. As a counter for your stack problem, remember arrows can stack without adding weight too. Another counter: why would you be able to trade runes then? And how come when the charges in a rune is used up, it disappears? The only way the charge thing is going to work is if individual runes aren't stacked, or Zonorhc's idea is implemented fully. Otherwise, I oppose this idea. In fact, I have thought about charged runes myself a lot of times, but because of the explaination I gave a few posts above, I don't think it would work.
  23. yes, it is true the first lasers were focused with gemstones. I won't go into details about creating a laserbeam, but technically mageoftheage2's suggestion is possible: but it does not fit with Runescape. A magical spell shooter, as I have said before... needs a mage to channel the energy. I don't see any mage preferring a stationary cannon to a stave with a bag-full of runes. And the idea is simply either overpowered, or excessive. It also doesn't sound right to me anyhow. How about a Quantum Torpedo Launcher?
  24. ... Teleport people back to you and kill them? You are sad... In that case, a clan can just position a member in every world and cast the teleport spell on the person they want to kill, and that person won't be able to play Runescape. I am sorry, but that falls down the category of harrassment. Just reading the title and seeing how the poster is desperate for attention tells me this isn't a good topic...
  25. Well, considering that Trimmed Armour are meant to be treasure trail items, and that allowing people to trim armour simply makes them worth less (not worthless, but less), and that trimmed armour has no bonuses and lowering their worth is like blemishing antiques, I would sasy no. Just reading the title and seeing how the poster is so eager to get people to post tells me this isn't a good suggestion. Please, refrain from doing so in the future: it is very immature. You even quoted yourself for no reason and didn't edit it. Or was it intentional?
