Don't you think it's a little unfair that a piece of software that only has lots of helpful Runescape-related links and programs is banned simply because Jagex sees competition and wants to protect accounts that don't need protection? Again, I'll say it: it's going a little overboard. -

SS stands for SwiftSwitch. It's a 3rd party client hosted by zybez.net that has useful tools: easy, one click access to a world (with some limitations), highscores lookup, IRC chat, timers and counters, links to some price guides, skill guides, etc., a notepad, a to-do list, an easy way to take screenshots (F12 would just take a pic of the RS screen), an image uploader, and more. My opinion? Bull. Why should Jagex care about the security of people's accounts? It's a person's own responsibility to secure his or her account. Next, is Jagex gonna tell us that we can't download any program, because there's a chance it has a keylogger? Come on, pushing this thing a little overboard, don'tcha think? -
Very nice find. I never actually thought about it, but it seems logical that four different squares, all one away from each other, could have different music. Why Sea Shantay is playing I haven't the slightest clue. :-k

Odd, I've seen you quite often. 5/10. -
Got one hit by Jad, hit a 91 on me. :XD:

Though I think it's slightly odd when I see levels 3-30 in members worlds, I don't think they should go back to F2P simply because of their level. As Zaquier said, the sooner, the better.

Exactly. The events are special because they're only during the holidays. Events weekly, or monthly eve, would just be too monotonous. Jagex would eventually run out of ideas, too.

Mine works. Luckily for me, I logged in when SaidinWoT wanted to play RSC with me, and when I logged in, it gave me the message: "You have last logged in 182 days ago." Talk about a close call. Not that I use it. I have about 13 mining, but that's it. I can't stand RSC. Maybe I'd be more accustommed to it if I had played back then, but I enjoy RS2 much more.

Taking a break from Rs for a month.

Well, good luck with all your schoolwork. Just don't come crawling back to RS after one week like I did. :P -
- Discontinued items become untradeable. - Take out woodcutting skill. - Take out cooking skill. - Take out runecrafting skill. - No more trading. - No friends list/no way to interact with other players. :-w

Do You Enjoy Runescape NOW As Much As When You Started?
Ddrmaster7 replied to ferg161's topic in General Discussion
I still enjoy RS, but I don't think I enjoy it as much as I did when I started playing. I remember chopping normal trees to the east of Varrock and achieving 16 woodcutting - my highest skill! It was a sweet satisfaction. Ah. Even though the things I'm achieving right now are of much more significance than those of my n00bish days, I think I had more fun back then. -
I was thinking something like buckets of milk, but a red bead and ashes sounds like a much better idea. :P But I've never been lured. :uhh:

I reported my friend once for offensive language when I was pissed at him. :P If a friend started cursing at me, no. If he bought stuff for IRL cash, probably not. I'd warn him, but I would let him dig his own hole. If he got caught, it'd be his fault, not mine. Bug abuse - no, as long as he wasn't spawning blue phats. As long as it was a small graphical glitch or something harmless, I wouldn't report. If he scammed, oh yeah. Nail that sucka.

Konami has made DDR: Mario Mix for GCN and a couple Gameboy Color versions of it, but other than that the franchise has stayed withing the Xbox and Playstation systems, with the latter being the more popular. It would suck for me if a new DDR came out on the PS3, which I won't be getting (ever).

I already said, if you like it, thats cool, but I dont. Then the fan-boys came out and tried to be intellectual Ok, cool. Sorry for bashing you. Back on topic, WHO WANTS BEMANI TO GO TO THE WII AS MUCH AS I DO? :D  *smilies be here*

Ok, everyone, I think we can all agree that this is going no where. How bout we make a deal...itsjustagame, we respect your opinion that you don't like DDR and you respect ours that we enjoy it. Can we all agree on that? Can we get back to the positive, constructive side of DDR before this gets locked?

1. Never know until you try. Besides, if you could really convince me that you enjoyed it, I'd take a bite. 2. But what about the fun you have before you're walking around the mall? Meeting people, competing, and just having fun? You don't not play a game because it will get you sweaty... -.- 3. I suppose it's your opinion, but if you truly think about it, maybe you'll find it's not so silly as you think it is. 4. I've seen it firsthand. I've maintained my weight and I have lots of DDR'ers that I hang out with that have lost weight. The only time I've seen a DDR ad on TV was for the toys at Burger King right now. 5. Thanks. ;) 6. Before you said there's no point in playing DDR at home. So play it in the arcade, where it won't be your fault if a TV falls over. 7. Ok. Still, those games don't require too much intelligence. 8. It takes a bit of practice, like any game. 9. Guess so, but I've had a group of about 15 hot girls come up to me once and begged me to take a picture with them :D 10. As I said before, play in the arcade.

Do you seriously think any good will come out of you posting any further? 'Cause I can continue.

Yay, time to bash some nerd! :D 1) Why not? You don't gauge how good or bad something is by playing it; instead, you make judgments based on what you THINK it is? 2) Lots of activities make you sweaty...whether or not they are electronic should have no bearing on your opinion on the game. 3) I could say that swinging a giant stick to hit a ball is stupid looking. I could say that bouncing a ball for 32 minutes, trying to make it go into a small basket is stupid. How is moving your legs in order to hit four arrows stupid? 4) It is a great form of exercise. I stay in shape with it. People have lost hundreds of pounds playing DDR on a regular basis. 5)"Dancing - To move rhythmically usually to music, using prescribed or improvised steps and gestures." Pretty much sums up what DDR is all about. Yes, it's dancing. 6) So saying invalild statements about how DDR merits falling through floors makes you sound correct...I'll make a mental note. 7) I'm sure you play Halo 2, right? Something that really requires intelligence? 8) You don't need to memorize step charts unless you're freestyling. 9) The people who make fun of DDR'ers are jealous. I've dealt with so much mockery through the three years I've been playing. But could they beat me at DDR? No. If you show me someone who will make fun of me that has surpassed my skill level at DDR, I'll believe you. 10) Why the hell would you play DDR upstairs in a house? Play on the ground floor, idiot. [/bashing]
