This is definitely a heavy exaggeration. Just looking at the "login server offline issue:" Shit happens. No piece of technology is perfect. Sometimes Tip.It goes offline, sometimes RuneScape has server problems.. it just happens. Jagex shouldn't be blamed for "poor customer service" or "screwing up their game" etc. Sometimes things just go wrong and the only thing we can do is fix it, and that's what Jagex is currently working hard to do. People rage when RuneScape goes offline for an hour or two. I honestly find that so silly. RuneScape is fantastic when it comes to the servers being online and accessible. Let's look at other games.. games like WoW, Rift, LOTRO, SW:TOR all go offline regularly for hours of scheduled maintenance (usually once a week). We are so lucky that RuneScape doesn't have that. We get kicked offline for a few minutes when updates get applied and then once in a blue moon something fails and the servers go offline for an hour or two until Jagex can sort it out. We have very little to complain about. I have no idea what this has to do with the rest of your post.. but I will answer it for you. Jagex used to stand for "Java Gaming Experts" but prior to the release of War of Legends this was changed to "Just About the Game Experience." Your other points about the developers and updates have some validity, but I don't see what they have to do with "the end of RuneScape." On another note, I'm moving this to the Rants forum since that seems to be more appropriate.

Off-Topic, Marketplace and General Discussion are given by default because they are (well Off-Topic and Marketplace were some time ago, less these days) the most active boards on the forum. However, new moderators are not obligated to moderate there if they don't feel comfortable. The only places they're 'obligated' to moderate as a new moderator are the two boards that they select themselves :)

As a new moderator you will be allowed to select two boards to moderate, in addition to a few that are given by default (General Discussion, Off-Topic, and the Marketplace). If you do a good job after a few weeks, you may be considered for a promotion to a Global Moderator position, where you will have moderator powers in all public forums. I'm not sure what you mean about the order though :ohnoes:

Regarding the QA - I really didn't like some of the attitude in the replies :( A lot of them were "Well this is the way I like it so it's not going to change." I mean regarding effigies, people are split about the drop rates.. but I think almost everyone agrees that limiting it to 5 effigies at a time was a poor decision and not the way to go. People have offered better alternatives (i.e. "can only open 5 every x period of time"). At the end of the day, Jagex shouldn't be doing just what the developers like/want. They should look at what the player base wants. In this case, the alternative are not unrealistic and they still support Jagex's wish to remove the hoarding/mass opening of effigies. But it's a much better solution for people who want to save effigies for when they can open them. It seems like this all comes down to what Mod Mark personally wants and that's not the right way to go about it. I'd at least like to hear why he thinks his current method is better than limiting how many you can open in a given amount of time. Unless I missed it, he completely ignored the questions like that and just said "Well this is how I want it so that's how it will be."

But here is a brief overview: Administrators oversee all aspects of the website and forum. They are in change of all operations and other branches of staff. Can't Login? Need a Password Reset? Been Hacked? Unable to Login If you cannot login to your account for any reason (because you forgot your password, think you may have been hacked, etc.), follow the below steps: First try to reset your password by clicking the "I forgot my password" link on the login page. This will send a message to the e-mail account registered to your Tip.It Forum account with information on resetting your password. If you do not receive an e-mail it is because the e-mail registered to your account is something other than what you expected (because you forgot it or someone changed it). If this is the case, see step two. If you are unable to recover your account using the above method, submit an Account Problem Report (link at the top of the page) with as much information as possible. If you were unable to reset your password using step #1, let us know why. If we are able to match your IP address to the one already stored with your forum account, we will send a new password. If not, we will take further steps to confirm that you are the true owner of the account (for example, confirming that you own the RSN linked to your forum account). Compromised/Hacked Forum Account If you have any reason to suspect that someone else has access to your Tip.It Forum account, follow the below steps: If you still have access to your forum account but think that someone else may be logged in, there are several ways you can notify us: Go to your forum profile and on the top right of the screen click on the button that says "Report Member". You will be taken to a page where you can fill out report details. Explain why you think your account has been compromised. This will notify the entire moderator and administrative teams, so it is one of the quickest ways to inform us. You may create a new thread in this forum. The downside to this method is that your thread will be made public for everyone to read until an admin or moderator is made aware of it. Once they are, your thread will be removed from public view while the situation is handled. You may send a private message to a moderator or administrator. The downside to this method is that rather than informing the entire team at once (like with the above two methods), you are only contacting one person. That person may happen to be offline or even away on vacation for a few days. If you choose to use this method, we recommend that you first check the list of active users at the bottom of the forum index. PM one or two moderators/admins that are currently online. If none are online, we strongly recommend that you use one of the above two options. [*]If you are unable to log into your forum account and believe it has been compromised, follow the same steps listed above under "Unable to Login." First try recovering your password via e-mail. If you are unsuccessful then submit an Account Problem Report and provide us with as many details as possible. So what will happen to your account if you've been hacked? As soon as we receive your notification your account will be banned while the situation is investigated. This is to protect your account and prevent anyone from accessing it. We will then contact you and use various methods to confirm the true owner of the account (by comparing IP information or speaking to you on the RSN linked to your forum account). Once we've confirmed who the true owner is, we will send you a new password for your account.

Letting myself get burnt out training prayer in like 2007. I made it to level 93 or so before I went crazy and ended up quitting the game for like a year. Dragon bones were like 1.8k back then. I had all the bones for 99 prayer but sold them since I was quitting. :thumbdown: Not getting 99 crafting in 2007.

Man The Hunger Games are epic books. I blew through them in like 2 days because I couldn't put them down.

That's so awesome! I didn't see either of them in theatres :( </poor me> I was pleasantly surprised by the second movie! I was a little worried that they'd mess it up but I enjoyed it! My favourite part about those movies is how everything they do is based on other movies. Like the brothers talk about stuff and one will say "Dude that only happens in movies" then they actually do it and it works out :mrgreen:
