  1. It's out already? Now I know what I'm spending my WHSmith vouchers on! Still a few months to go (released March 5th, I think) - I'm reading an advanced readers copy. :) Lemme know how it turns out :) I guess I'll start reading through the stack of magazines I have :D It ended up being 'pretty good' for me. The ending was a little disappointing, I thought. The love triangle does get wrapped up, but only in about one page at the very end, so it's not that satisfying and is still a little open ended. On the last page, I kind of thought, "It's over? What happens now?" But it's still a pretty good book. Now I'm reading Revolution 19 by Gregg Rosenblum. And thank god I'm almost done with it because it's pretty shit. But apparently the guy who worked on 24 and the guy who directed Final Destination are making a movie to go along with the book. I wonder if the movie will be any better.

  3. Moving on to Requiem by Lauren Oliver. I loved the first book but wasn't crazy about the second book. Hopefully the third is better.
  4. I just finished The Cadet of Tildor it was.. ugh.. Not very good.
  5. For me, Tom Bombadil was probably the most annoying character in the whole LoTR trilogy. Don't really know why, but he just was. So in that sense I'm pretty happy that Jackson decided to leave him out of the movies. :D I agree. :P Just not my kind of character. I feel like he would have ruined the tone of the movies.

  11. We'll see. :P I'd have to commute to London so I'd have very long days..
  12. My first job was working as a camp counselor over the summer. I'm not even really sure if that counts. After that I worked at Jamba Juice for a summer. That was an awesome job.. the free drinks, guys. 8-) Now I have a job offer working as a front end web developer for a year, which I'm still considering. :P
  13. I don't really. :P I was woodcutting now and then and sometimes I log on to do farming XD
  14. I think a crew member was working on editing that shortcode, which is why it's showing an error. :P

  16. Exactly. That's why the RS economy is one of the only ones I've ever seen where a completed item has less worth than the items needed to make it. I don't know, I've seen that quite a few times in other MMOs.
  17. Deflation is great; as it is, everything is far too expensive(I am talking about high-end gear of course). Normal high level skillers should not be held to the same standard in terms of what they can afford as idle billionaires. There's simply no way most of them can hope to compete. Pretty much. I remember when it was actually possible to make a lot of money from being a skiller; You would see a Lv. 3 with several dozens of millions and everyone would go "Yep, that's because he's a skiller, skillers make a lot of money." Nowadays, you would see a Lv. 3 (Lv. 4 as of now) and the first thought would be "Yep, that's a gambling account all right." Jagex should implement some item sink or something in the game, find a way to make skilling profitable again. I definitely miss the days when skilling could compete with the high-end money making methods (like merchanting). I like that it gave people more options for how they could make their money. You could stake, you could merchant, you could do Barrows, you could runecraft. Now I feel like the options for making a lot of money are much more limited and that limits gameplay as a whole. That's the one main thing I'd like to see change.
  18. Sounds like a freaking awesome month!
  19. I'm going to lock this thread since you have already shown that you have no interest in safely selling these items on a site that people would be comfortable with (eBay). eBay would no more give up your anonymity than PayPal would and there's no reason not to use it unless you have some kind of sketchy intentions. We can't stop anyone from privately doing a transaction with this person, but if you do, please use common sense and good judgement. Don't do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, and don't hand over any money without some kind of guarantee that you will receive your items. And finally, make sure you check the Official Jagex Store before buying any items, in case they're already available there. You can even make your own as well.

  21. That page isn't intended to be used on the mobile site. The mobile site was a tiny project and only the databases were coded to work on it.
