I never use my dragon hally. I generally melee creatures up to blue dragons, without too many problems. In terms of xp, a whip definitely owns a hally. Anything stronger, I either skip or range. Personally, I think that a crystal bow owns a dragon hally too. True, I can only hit 21 instead of 30, but its faster and I get ranged xp.

Heros to recharge glory amulets. Can't imagine RS without it. Warrior takes second place. I love my rune defender. :P

At what level should I switch from the wilderness course to ape atoll course? I want maximum xp, and I know that ape atoll gives more, but not if you fail, which happens alot. Thanks

Use melee protect and d'hide. Fire bolt with chaos gauntlets.

If I do about 2-3 assignments from Zanaris or Shilo daily, how long would it take? BTW, I'm 98 combat now, with good equipment.

Defender. With it, I have 132 Slash attack. 20 def doesn't matter that much.

If I fail, I go kill more blues. A second attempt won't cost close to as much because I'll already have most of my equipment. It'll cost about 300k in pots and 900k to repair both bows. A third attempt will only cost 360k to repair both bows, and 660k total. So now I should be able to afford at least 2 attempts a week. And thanks for all the support. Keep it coming. :D

Blog updated. Now I have 75 ranged and all my equipment. Now I need 8k more xp to 80 hp and 25k more xp to 60 prayer. I also plan to go to castle wars and hear what retribution sounds like to help block his mage attacks.

I believe the 360s can hit up to 47 with melee. So, if you plan to try it without mage, range, or a halberd, the best advice I have for you is to just give up. As far as I know, the 360s do NOT have different attack animations to let you switch prayers like you can on jad.

Thanks for the support, diddy. I plan to pay for each attempt by ranging more dragons, getting 1 level between each failed attempt. Also, if I get a robin hood hat from a clue, should I get another pair of ranger boots and an archer ring, or save a little bit more for a fury?

BUMP Updated up to day 5 now. Come on people, I want suggestions, criticisms, ratings, anything! Also, any advice about taking new enchanted bolts (if any) would be highly appreciated.

DO NOT try it melee style. Use ranged. Twin crystal bows own the fight caves. Just train ranged, defence, prayer, and hitpoints. Attack and strength really have nothing to do with the fight caves.

My hopes: dragon defender, dragon warhammer, or dragon boots. I don't like the new bows much, so I wouldn't like a magic/dragon xbow.
