One aspect that probably defines each game is the fact that WoW is more group based. Sure in Runescape you can get a group to kill King Dagganoths or the Kalphite Queen, but in WoW there are 19 instanced dungeons for five to ten man groups for all players 15-60. Once you hit the level cap of 60 two 20 man dungeons and five 40 man dungeons open up to expand game play. In Runescape in order to defeat the fight caves it requires personal skill where as in WoW you need to have 40 competent players to down the Nefarian, C'Thun, or Kel'Thuzad. WoW also has a more complex gameplay compared to Runescape. In Runescape you attack, eat, and wait til the monster is dead. In WoW you need to execute spells/abilities subsequently in order to kill something. There are also talents that you can use to improve certain aspects of your gameplay which can help give you an advantage in Player vs Player (PvP) or Player vs Environment (PvE) situations. This can help remove the bore of doing the same thing over and over as seen in Runescape. Overall, if my two cents mean anything; WoW is a much better game than Runescape.

New patch is great. BG queues on my server went down from an hour + to less than a minute. Plus its nice to kill more people and get a variety of people on the alliance. Sure, I've been running in to Ashkandi Warriors with 8k health and Mages that hit for 1400+; but it's still a blast.

For PvP: Undead: Will of the Forsaken - Removes Fear/Seduce - A God send vs Warlocks Tauren: War Stomp - .5 second stun - Really good escape tactic Orc: Hardiness - 25% Resist to all stun effects - Ver nice vs Rogues Human: Perception - Increases stealth detection for a small amount of time - lets you see rogues from a mile away. Gnome: Escape Artist - removes immobilizing effects - Removes frost nova and nets in BGs. good for chasing. For PvE: Night Elves: tallest alliance race and largest hit length. Best for tanking in end game. Tauren: 5% increase in total health, more health = more good. Just pick the race that best suits you. But, in my opinion the real fun in the game begins at 60. So stick with a character and play it all the way to 60.

Gnomes make terrible warriors in PvE end game content. They have a shortened hit length so they have to get closer to the hit box on large bosses in order to hit them. This ruins the Line of Sight issues with the rest of the raid and can cause a wipe because of it. This can easily be noted on Firemaw, Flamegor, and Chromaggus. On alliance night elves make the best tanks and on horde taurens make the best tanks. However gnomes aren't half bad warriors in PvP
