  1. Well I have had some people tell me that they thought mine was easier to understand. I can't believe I forgot to mention the stranger! :wall: I did note that you should always put the diamond straight in the bank right after you get it. As for the cake suggestion, good point. I personally was fishing at the Colony for monkfish right before I did this quest so that's why I have so many places for sharks. I used monkfish instead of sharks (At the beggining of the guide I said you could substitute) and so I just put sharks (Because most people prefer them) where I used monkfish. Your exactly right though, and I will put this advice in my guide now. I have added more information about this in my guide, thank you.
  2. The stats are up on my guide, in the "Reward" section. However just incase you didn't see it: There ya go. :)
  3. I wish, but the sword is a 2-Handed Sword. So you can't wield your god book. (Update In-Progress) If you read earlier posts, it was a hidden update for 2/12/07.
  4. Yes, however you have to first destroy the sword first, thereby making it impossible to get multiple swords.
  5. I've added that new information to the guide. Thanks for the idea! :P
  6. Well if anyone is struggling or needs any help, my guide just went up! :) Find it at my Shadow Sword Guide. Hope it help!
  7. I don't believe so, because the monster that dropped it does not reapear ever again. Sorry :(
  8. So you want one of those fancy Shadow Swords that some people are carrying around? You've come to the right place to learn how! This is a pretty simple Mini-Quest... If you know where to go. Have fun! Requirements -Must have started/completed Desert Treasure for Ring of Visibility & Full Ghostly Robes outfit. -Must have completed Fight Arena Quest. -Must have completed A Restless Ghost Quest for Ghostspeak Amulet. -Must be able to kill a level 160 Hellhound without Prayer. Needed Items -Full Ghostly Robes -Ring of Visibility -Amulet of Ghostspeak -75gp Suggested Items -Ring of Dueling -Teleport Runes for the following places: 3 Camelot Teleports, 2 Arderough Teleports, and A Faldor Teleport (Or Glory Dranor Tele is prefered) -Spirit Tree's or some way to Gnome Stronghold. -Food & Weapons. -Some Armor Introduction Now Im getting many comments with people who "Didn't know this existed." Well it hasn't for very long! Put in as a hidden update, on 2/12/07, this update is very new. It came out with the Mini-Game "Sorceress's Garden" aka the Sq'irk Update. As such not many people have the new Sword, which makes it all the more tempting to get it! ~Starting Out~ First You need to equip your Ghostly Robes, Amulet, & ring so you look something like this: Then you need to walk out north of Camelot to Relleka, and then go east to the singing tree. He wanders a little bit, and so sometimes you just have to wait 1-2 minutes until he respawns back near the singing tree. Eventually you should find our favorite General (As a ghost) wandering around in this general location (get it?): After you talk with him, he needs to know your trustworth, or your not-trustworthy... It's kinda difficult for a evil person! Anyways he asks to you talk with "Seer Sin" who would know what you are. So teleport to Camelot, and go just south of the Seers Bank, to the spinning building which is here: Go up, and talk with her. You will tell her that General Khazard needs to know if you are trustworthy. You will need to "Bribe" her, and you will give eventually give her 40gp. She will give you a note, which you will need to bring back to General Khazard. He will find this acceptable, and tell you he needs you to deliver a message to 4 scouts. ~Finding the Scouts~ Now you need to go to 4 Scouts: -One is in the desert, near Shantay Pass. -One is near the Draynor Mansion, on the Faldorish side. -One is south of the gate of the Gnome Stronghold. -And the last one is just south of the Tai Bwo Wannia Mahogany/Teak woodcutting area. Shanty Pass Scout Teleport to Al Kharid by use of your dueling ring, and walk all the way south until you get to Shantay Pass. Buy a Shantay Pass for 5gp, then walk through out to the desert (You don't need water since you won't be out long.) Walk a little bit southeast of the magic carpet, and you will find a scout. Talk with him, and he will give a little bit of a description where the other scouts are. Faldor Scout Teleport to Draynor Village (Glory) or Faldor Teleport. Now walk to the ouside of draynor mansion, on the faldor side. You should find the Scout near the area shown on the map, talk to him. Gnome Scout If you have use of the Spirit Trees, teleport to Ardougne and walk west to the Spirit Tree. From there, "tree" to the Tree Gnome Village, then to the Gnome Stronghold. From there you will need to walk south, then leave the Gnome Stronghold. The Scout is a little south of the entrance to the Gnome Stronghold, but a little northeast of the Outpost from "Making History." If you don't have access to the Spirit Trees, just teleport to Ardougne or some other location, and walk to the same point. In conversation the Scout mocks you a little bit for being human . Tai Bwo Wannia Scout You might want to bring an anti-poison just incase, because you never know in Karamija! Best way to get to him would be to teleport to Ardougne and travel to Brimhaven by use of the boats. Walk south until you get into Tai Bwo Wannia. If you have done "Jungle Potion" the best way to describe where the Scout is, is southeast of where you started the quest. Once you find the Scout, talk with him. This Scout is a little bit different, and gives you a message to report back to the General. That is the last of the scout bit, and you've already gotten past the hardest part of this Mini-Quest! The Erm, Reward? Well, go back to General Khazard and he will say he is pleased with your progress. He now tells you that to get your reward, you must find another Ghost. He will give you a severed leg (He says that's how the ghost will tell who you are) and tells you that the Ghost is by a Cave, which is near a place humans like to fish. Guess where it is? It's the fishing guild Goblin Cave! Now at this point you should teleport to Ardougne and get ready to face a level 160 without the use of any prayer. Don't forget your Ghost Robes, Ring & the Severed Leg though! To get to the Goblin Cave go here: And now go All the way North-East until you hit this room: At which point you enter this crack (Also shown by the Blue Arrow in theprevious picture.) Oh noes, he General Khazard has betrayed us! You now have to defeat his pet once again! Don't worry, the Ghost Hellhound isn't really all to hard. Once inside, you can switch to your armor and beat that Hellhound once again! :) Reward! Once you kill the Helhound, you are awarded: -2k Slayer Xp -And the Helhound Drops the "Shadow Sword." If you chose to destroy it, you will get this option: And here is the sweet visuals on this Sword: Tips or Tricks ~If you lose your "Severed Leg" any time during the quest, just go back to General Khazard and talk with him. He will give you a new one and tell you that they are very easy to replace. :uhh: ~The Shadow Sword is a 2-Handed Sword. ~The "Shadow Realm Guardian" who replaces your Shadow Sword if you lose it, is a Ghost, so make sure you have your Ghost Speak Amulet! That's the Guide! Have fun with this! :) I hope this helps anyone who was having trouble! If you enjoyed this guide, or found it usefull, I recommend you look at my other guides including: Highimpact1's Guide to Everything Fletching <-- I am pleased to announce that this guide, which is my very first, has been declaired good enough to go into the Archive of Wisdom. Thanks to everyone who leaves a comment! Guide to Desert Treasure <-- This guide is very recent, published right after I myself completed Desert Treasure. I appreciate everyone who is contributing feedback and corrections, because with a Quest as vast as Desert Treasure, it is almost impossible to tell everything! Thank you for reading this guide, and I always appreciate Comments whether they be Negative, Positive, Critical, or help me correct my guide, or expand it! :P
  9. Okay I got all the scouts now I'm find the guy who will reward me... By a cave near fish? Grrrrrr... Great Hidden update though, this is exceedingly enjoyable even throughout my wining! :)
  10. After searching almost every inch of Faldor I am almost certain it's not in Faldor. There must be somewhere else "The White Knights Rule."
  11. The scouts are annoying! The Faldor one is acually near Draynor Manor!
  12. Well I had facemask down, but I did forget to tell when to equip it  Major oops on my part, and many thanks for pointing that out. I have now made it a lot easier to see, and specified when to equip. As for the routes, the only one that you really need one at all is the pyramid & I have now added a link to the excellent tip.it pyramid map! As for anything else, I am always open to concerns & corrections, so please tell me how I can make it a good guide for your standards! And you suggest?...? :-s I can't fix the problem if I have no information to go by!
  13. Im very happy to have inspired you to continue working on this skill, and I think that you might find This is a nice small guide to help teach you the finer points in Powerfletching. It has 1-2 other ways to powerfletch that my guide doesn't mention. :P Thank you very much for the information. I will be sure to include this in a new update I am planning for my guide!
  14. Don't worry, they are very animated and look just like a cartoon blob! I think that thing about the nightmares was just added in for dramatic effect. Although if you want to be on the safe side, but put it on low detail so you can't even tell there spiders! :P
  15. Halo Wars was announced at the same time as "Peter Jackson's Secret Halo Project" and Halo 3, and it's made by a different company. It's also not going to be a first person shooter, but a real-time strategy game. So technically it was announced at the same time as Halo 3, not after. Although I would love for expansions like map packs like they did for Halo 2, I don't see why you seem to think extra gamplay is a negative. All well, im not out to convince anyone what they like! :) I thought I would pitch in a Halo comic too:
  16. Please read the thread before you post, there was acually a little debate about this...
  17. Acually the damage done by the barcrawl drinks are by %. the 17 drink probably would do around 8-9 damage then. :)
  18. In reply to "everfreefire" here is the list in which I am basing the total level on: Agility Level~ 56 Construction Level~ 34 Crafting Level~ 61 Farming Level~ 49 Fishing Level~ 62 Herblore Level~ 57 Hunter Level~ 27 Mining Level~ 60 Strengh Level~ 50 Range Level~ 60 Woodcutting Level~ 56 Slayer Level~ 42 Attack Level~ 1 Defence Level~ 40 Cooking Level~ 70 Firemaking Level~ 50 Hitpoints Level~ 10 Fletching Level~ 50 Magic Level~ 66 Prayer Level~ 47 Runecrafting Level~ 50 Thieving Level~ 53 Smithing Level~ 65 If im wrong, thanks for the corrections, but there ya go! :)
  19. Does this include hitpoints and attack, because according to my list, you don't need those skills...you could technically do all the quests at 10 hitpoints and 1 Attack, for a total of 1035. (I may have missed a few things *Equipment you must weild, etc.* but my list is fairly well updated...) You are correct that you must add on 9 levels because of starting out at level 10, but other than that it's added.
  20. If you switch world, that text dissapears :) ~Upon the examination of Dragon Bones, it tells you "These would feed a dog for months!" however giving the bones to the dog near Port Sarim he gobbles them up in seconds. ~A good place to get seeweed for free is in Piscatoris Fishing Colony on the seeweed filled nets. Although you can only take from them once then they go empty, there are two, they respawn within 10 seconds, and there is a bank right next to them. ~After "Family Crest Quest" you can still make perfect ore --> perfect bars. You can also still make them into perfect ruby necklaces or a "Perfect" Necklace. (Can you make them into different types? Unconfirmed) ~If you take unfermented wine, and note it it will not ferment. So if you make a bunch of unfermented wine and keep on noting them before they ferment, then put them into your bank at once, when they all ferment they will give you one huge cooking xp boost! :) ~Monkfish is a real type of fish (Mentioned in a General Forums article.) ~Rick Turnpike is the only NPC Male who wears a ponytale :XD: ~Your energy will not run down any slower after you hit 0 kg. Being -5kg or -2kg will not make any difference! (Also picked up after a debate about agility training with all your weight decreasers on.) ~A basket of strawberries heals you (total) more than anything else in the entire game, but you have to eat them out of the basket one at a time. ~Herblore used to be called Herblaw. (Pretty widely known) ~You can combine the Gnome Goggles with the Bomber Cap. ~Needles are stackable (Gah! Why?!) ~A total level of at least 1116 is needed to own the quest cape (As of 2/8/07) That's all for now, I'll think up more later! :P
  21. Here's the thing. All of the people I see posting are 109, 112, 102, etc.. The point is, your near the high end of the stick. Would someone with say, my stats be able to do it as "easy" as you guys say?
  22. Forgive me if im wrong, but im guessing you haven't read any of the books then? Playing through the original Halo storyline was quite fun for me, and I enjoyed Halo 2's even more. However that could be that you need to read the books to acually understand all that is going on, because it is very complicated. As for the Arbiter... :wall: :wall: If you havn't gotten an email yet about being chosen, you didn't get into Phase 1. But you still have a chance for Phase 2! :)
  23.  I wonder how many people acually understand the joke here though...
