  1. Wow I honestly didn't know that. Im sure some stores shipped it over there though?
  2. Why don't you just go to EB Games, or Circut City, or Best Buy, or any of the places? It's not as if they don't have them (Or at least, it's not as if they don't have them here.) Our EB Games even has a sign that asks people to "Please buy our PS3's, They are instock!". And they have never gone out of stock yet. :|
  3. Of course! :P How would you like downloading new demo's for games that you can play all you want. Kicking back, and watching Beerfest (which I just downloaded, very funny movie! :P .) Buying arcade games online, without leaving your room, or joining with all your friends in a game of GoW to curb stomp the competition? Trust me, it's a blast. Not trying to hit down Sony again, but the PS3 live does nothing of yet, except for 1-2 games. Sony's all hardware, not software. It's a wonderful piece of hardware, and brilliant... but it's just not worth it when there's stuff like the 360 and the Wii on the market. thats not fair Xbox 360 had a year head start and wii was released before PS3 :). Anyway i might get one when they are ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã100. This made me laugh. The PS3 had a year extra to improve on every part of their system, and games, and everything else! You make it sound as if they were at a dissadvantage here, instead of an advantage. It was their fault they lied about the progress they where making in the PS3 while it was being built! But you want to know why they are cutting the costs? They have to keep there good name, and they have to look like they are out to keep it. A company as large as Sony can handle the falure of the PS3, but the most important thing for them now is not to lose their reputation. If they lose their reputation, then I don't know if they can recover.
  4. Well im pretty much a fanatic, so I don't completely agree that they messed the first two up, but im not going to get in a argument about it :) . I already pre-ordered Crackdown (Sweet game btw) so im pretty much garunteed (grrr I can't spell today) to get the beta. :P
  5. :-s You make absolutely no sense. Im into movies, but it's not as if you can download them over live like on the '360. It's not as if you can use your own regular or HD movies, oh no, instead you have to buy blue ray movies for even more money! "Move onto the HD them" is exactly what I want, so I went for the Xbox 360 which has over 10x the HD Games & Movies than the PS3. Now for the games, your better off going for the 360 because it have so many more exclusives, a prefected Xbox Live (Granted, you do have to pay for the 360 Live though, a minor drawback in my opinion.), more games already out, and it's cheaper per game. The pricedrag ($300-$400) is not very nice, but compair it to the PS3 and it's a bargain! Or if your into arcade games, you can always get those off-live, and you can get game videos, game demos, game extra's, all of which you can't get on the PS3 (Im sure they will get around to it someday though.) Top that off with the fact that it can play regular DVD's unlike it's counterpart, and you've got yourself worthwhile package. Many people are mistaken about what the think the PS3 can do currently, because they have been spoiled by the Xbox 360, and they have heard all of the Sony hype. Did you know that the PS2 has sold more copies that the PS3 since the PS3 has been out? For a final point, think about GoW & Halo 3 too. Does PS3 have those, of course not! Does PS3 have a better live than the Xbox 360 Of Course Not! Is it true that the PS3 will have more exlusives than the 360 of course not! Is it true that you could buy a Xbox 360 & a Wii for the price of a PS3? Yep  . So after all of that, I would have to tell everyone, that currently, my favorite system of the 3 would have to be the Wii. Leave it to Nintendo to come up with a completely different way to game, and get off your couch while your at it. Plus it's about 1/3 of the cost of a 360, and about 1/2 of the cost of a 360. :P
  6. yep and morrowind it self is also far to big to realy win al side quests and besides it got very much replay- valeu cause of the choiches you have to make so i think morrowind (tribunal and bloodmoon) :) wrong about that. I've beaten all of the quests including main, and both the expansions. I've also almost done the Nirnroot quest in Oblivion, and then I've completed all of Oblivion (Quests, Guilds, and bought add on's included) too... Darn Nirnroots!
  7. GoW is amazing, but Lost Planet acually doesn't get the credit it deserves. Try playing the game for a while, and you might be pleasently suprised at how enjoyable it is. Still, if it is a question of GoW to Lost Planet, then I would have to go with Gears. I would wait a while though, and see how other people enjoy it before you make your decision though. :)
  8. Karmastocracy posted a topic in Off-Topic
Well, Phase 2 just opened, and I just signed up, so I hope I get it! Halo 2 is my favorite game, other than Runescape of course! :P
  9. Nope, the evil dog "Bess" blocks it. This made it so I was forced to set up a proxy, and through the proxy the Java doesn't load correctly.
  10. Toledo, Ohio Baby! Woot, woot, I love snowdays!!! :P :P :P
  11. Zaros, because every god is afraid of him, and Zamorak won't even speak his name! :) Of course of the Big Three, Guthix all the way!
  12. Not true for me, I use a wealth, but I've used over 10k tokens and I still haven't gotten my Rune! (Im on addy  )
  13. Macro'ers ruin the game for all of us, but it's good that you did you part today in helping to rid the scum! On a side note, I live in Ohio too (Snowday!), and I didn't know so many people here did too! :P
  14. Yes, so what do you think now? :)
  15. :-s Wanna be moderator? :-s Anyways who cares what the folks at runehq think! Back on topic, I think that they did it only to keep the FFL busness less controlled by autoers, macro's etc. After all, think about what Paul said on the last "Tip It Times", where he said that they support these things that they never expected would happen. They brought a quest where you can even do it faster too! (Enlightened Journey Quest) So I disagree. :)
  16. Ah yes, the infamous Desert Treasure. Hopefully in this guide we will quench your fears, and let you stride through this quest with the confidence to beat it! Although you should still take care, and be as keen as ever, as this is dabatebly the hardest quest in all of Runescape. But before I start the guide let me start out confirming the fact that two people worked on this guide: (Me) Highimpact1~ (Wrote & Put Together) Motocross 91~ (Wrote & Provided the Pictures.) We planned on releasing this guide on two sites, Tip.It, and ours. Since our site is currently down, it will be unique to Tip It! :) Now, not to get your expectations up, but we pre-showed it to many-a-player and we have gotten good comments, so we hope it will be up to the Tip.It standard. Without further A-do, the Desert Treasure Guide. I realize there is already a Player Made Guide on this, but I have had many people tell me that mine is easier to understand. Desert Treasure Highimpact1 & Motocross 91 Description: Rumors abound throughout Varrock and Al-Kharid that an archaeologist has discovered some clues to a large hoard of treasure hidden somewhere deep in the desert south of Al-Kharid. Anybody prepared to offer him assistance in his treasure hunting could well find themselves benefiting from a very large reward indeed... PLEASE NOTE: This is an extremely challenging quest that will tax your battle prowess to the extreme. Difficulty: Master Length: Long Requirements: Level 10 Slayer, Level 50 Firemaking, Level 50 Magic, Level 53 Thieving, A high agility level will be a distinct advantage and be able to defeat extremely tough enemies above level 150. Quest Requirements: Digsite Quest, the Tourist Trap, Temple of Ikov, Priest in Peril, Waterfall Quest and Troll Stronghold. Items Needed: Lots of Shantay passes, 650gp, 12 Magic logs, 6 Steel bars, 6 Molten glass, Ashes, Charcoal, 1 Blood rune, Regular bones, Cake, Super restore potions, [bleep]ed boots, Climbing boots (Only if you haven't completed Eadgars Ruse or if you have completed it but do not have a magic level of 61 or higher), Garlic, Many Lockpicks (Can be bought at the Rogue's Den) , 1 Silver bar, Spice, Pestle and mortar, Facemask, Tinderbox, Ice gloves (Only if wanting to use a weapon against Fareed), Waterskins, knife, and Energy potions. Food (Monkfish or Sharks suggested) and Prayer Potions are needed ALOT throughout the quest. *Please note that I used only Monkfish throughout the quest, and anywhere that I suggest Sharks or anyother type of fish, that's just because most people have a spare cache of Sharks. Monkfish will work just as well, and I acually suggest them. Quest Points Reward: 3 Reward: 20k Magic experience and Ancient Magicks To Start: Speak to the Archaeologist in Bedabin Camp, south-west of the Shantay Pass Stages: 1st: Ghostly Robes 2nd: Dessous (Blood) 3rd: Fareed (Smoke) 4th: Kamil (Ice) 5th: Damis (Shadow) 6th: Pyramid Recommended Skills: 65+ Strength 60+ Attack 60+ Defense (Not that necessary, but it helps) 43 Prayer (A Must) 53 Magic (61+ Recommended) 65+ Hitpoints Armor: -Monk robes -Staff (which one is stated later) -Magic/Glory amulet -Chaos Gauntlets with casting Chaos spells (saves money and does the same damage as death spells) -You should look something like the picture below and the staff is what ever is stated for that daemon. Ghostly Robes Items needed: -Lots of Lockpicks (These can be obtained by pick pocketing bandits, or bought in the Rouge̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Den for 20gp each.) -5 Anti-poison(4) -400gp (Carpet Ride To Bedabin Camp) -Rest of inventory filled with sharks (50-69hp) lobbies (70-99hp) -North of Ardougne you find a man named Rasolo (Far West of the Fishing Guild in a fenced area). -Speak to him and he will tell you that someone has stolen a gilded cross from him and that you have to get it back. -Go to the Rogue's Den and stock up on at least 100-150+ Lockpicks. -Go to the bandit camp south of where you started quest. -Once you are inside the bandit camp, find a tent containing a locked chest. It's in the southern part of the camp. *It is worth noting that you should not bring any God Clothing except Guthix, or all the bandits in the bar will attack you. -Unlock the chest and take the gilded cross. You will need a Lockpicks. It can snap in the complicated lock and you can get poisoned, but don't worry. The bandits can be pick pocketed for new Lockpicks and Antipoison, or you can bring extra yourself. Picking the lock will take lots of time, and probably many, many lockpicks. Killing Dessous What To Bring: -2+ pray pots -Blessed silver pot with blood spices and crushed garlic -Runes for casting around 50 air blasts -Ring of life (optional) -Teleport runes in case goes wrong (to seers, more room for sharks) -Rest of inventory with sharks -Druids Pouch; 5-10 should suffice (optional) Getting to Dessous: -Head to the Canifis bar, when you approach you should see a sequence where a Vampire called Malak collects blood from the bartender Roavar. He then calls you over. Tell him you are looking for the diamond and he will tell you who has it. This vampire named Dessous apparently has it in his possession. Malak tells you where he is and how to kill him. He wants you to kill Dessous so that he can own more land. -Go to Draynor (glory amulet teleport is best) and go down either dungeon entrance trap door to find the man called Ruantan living in the sewers. One entrance to the sewers is by the Jail. Give him your Silver bar and he will make it into a Silver pot. -Go to Entrana with your pot and get it blessed by the high priest in the chapel. -Go back to Malak, tell him you have the items and he will drain some blood for you. Crush the garlic with a Pestle & mortar and add it to the blood. Also add the Spice. How To Kill: -Walk to graveyard (run, cause the ghasts might rot your food) and prepare for a battle (believe it or not, I used the most sharks here, this guy will always hit 10's in every 4 seconds, or less) -Put on melee prayer and use your silver pot with the vampires tomb Dessous will jump out and attack you (be sure you have set auto-cast air blast, this is very effective against him) -Eat when Hitpoints fall low, remember, he'll always Hitpoints 10's so make sure you know your Hitpoints (if prayer goes below drink dose of pray pot) killing him shouldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be that hard, and if you killed him go to malak to get your blood diamond, bank it immediately. *Please note now that you have your first diamond, at any point when it's in your inventory a level 92 Stranger with a Dd+ can appear and try to kill you. Killing Fareed What To Bring: -ICE GLOVES! His temperature of his body makes you unweild your staff. Or you can not use auto-cast (if you don't have ice gloves then you can still fight him but you will have to keep clicking on the spell and fareed). -1 pray potion -8 energy pots (tops most likely wont use all) for running to torches -Tinderbox for lighting torches -Water staff and runes to cast 50 water blasts, or waves if you can -200 gp (to go to north pollivinach) -Rest of inventory with sharks - Facemask How To Kill: -Go to well in desert, just west of pollivinach and equip your facemask before you go down the well! -First you need to go to chest and try to open it. it will say "light the pad", so light the torches I recommend starting with most north east one then south east, run to the north west then to finish with lighting the south west, keep on running and to light torches simply use tinderbox with torch -If all are lighted go to chest (if you are not quick enough torches will go out and then you need to start all over, It will give you a message in your chat box saying they went out) -If you are fast enough, you get an dust key, then go to the east of tunnel and use it with the gate (if you lose the key go back to the chest and get another without lighting the torches, If you leave the gate you do not have to get the key) -Before opening it put on melee protection -Fareed should not hit much to you but keep your prayer on. After killing him, be sure you have smoke diamond in inventory Killing Kamil First go with this to the ice gate: -2 pray pots -8 SUPER restore pots -cake (don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t forget!!!!) -rest lobs Melee~ Armor: Full Rune, Climbing Boots, Dragon Weapon (You need to kill 5 trolls, kill level 124, cause there the easiest, weird but true) Mage~ Armor: Fire Staff, Monk Robes, Climbing Boots. Runes: Enough for around 75 Fire Blasts. ~Mage is highly recommended -When at gate talk to troll child and give him cake he says his parents are frozen cause of a "stupid" diamond. If you unfreeze them you get it. -Now squeeze through ice gate and attack trolls with melee prayer on. Watch Out: when you squeeze through ice gates every 10 seconds all your stats will be lowered by 1 (also cooking, agility, herblore, etc..) so when strength/mage is low, drink 1 dose of potion - drink pray pot when prayer gets low. *Only drink prayer pots when prayer really does get low; the Restore Pots acually boost your prayer more than a prayer pot does! -After killing 5 trolls get back to falador and prepare for fighting Kamil. (Make sure the 5 trolls had full health when you first attacked them) Fighting Kamil: What to bring: -Runes for casting 70 fire bolts. Fire staff -3 pray pots -8 super restore pots -Rest of inventory with sharks/monkfish -Climbing boots, [bleep]ed boots, and monk robes -Teleport runes to Seers Tip: Chaos Gauntlets help a lot here as you do not need as much doses of restore potions How To Kill: -When you get past the ice wolfs and see Kamil, put on melee prayer and start fire bolting him. He freezes you sometimes, you cannot attack him then, use that time to take super restore, food and pray pots (if necessary) -Killing him should not be a problem. -Use the path to get to the ice way. -Wield your [bleep]ed boots and be ready to take damage (you will, not only for snow, also for falling you take 2 damage) Tip: You can go back if you do not have enough food left, you wont need to kill him again. -Follow path till ice blocks -Smash them with your fire bolts or staff and after smashing both the block you will be taken to the ice gate, follow conversation between family and the troll child will give you ice diamond. Go bank it quickly! Killing Damis This one is probably the hardest of the bunch. What to Bring: -5 pray potions -Monk robes, Earth staff, about 200 earth spells -Teleport runes to Camelot -Rest of inventory sharks -Ring of visibility How To Kill: -As told before, Damis is often called the hardest to kill, because he has 2 forms. *However one good idea for the fight is to entangle or snare him. -First form will attack you when you enter the room with skeletons and other monsters. Just put melee prayer on and earth blast him (first form does not drain prayer) Tip: Be sure attack Damis, other monsters are attacking you to when you kill him. That will make you attack them and not him. -When Damis level 104 is dead, a second, more powerful form will appear. He drains prayer quickly, from 4-6 even if he Hits 0̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s. -Just keep Maging him with earth spells and keep your prayer high, drink when prayer falls below 20 or 25 -Then keep on maging him till he is dead. -After you killed him, pick up shadow diamond and teleport to Camelot, and then quickly bank diamond Pyramid What To Bring: -Best Dragon hide amour you can wear -2 Prayer Potions -8 energy potions (4) -4 Diamonds -1 anti-poison potion -Rest of inventory sharks Getting Through The Pyramid: -First open up the Tip.it's Pyramid Map. -Talk to Eblis (inside the circle of mirrors) -Use the Diamonds on the pillars around the pyramid -Keep Running! Do not stop. Running almost reduces your chances to 0% of falling through the random appearing trap doors -There are 4 floors of the pyramid, Keep running through the floors until you reach the end. -Once you reach the end, talk to him, and you've completed the quest! ~After you get through the pyramid go talk to Elib with 80k. He will offer to sell you the Ancient Staff! You can buy it from him, or from other players. This is the only one he has and after that you can only get them from other players or from a very rare drop from the mummies in the pyramid. ~Now that you've done this quest, you can get Ghostly Robes in a small Mini Quest. You will learn about the Rise of Zamorak, and the creation of the Wilderness in this epic tale, as you sort out the troubles of old ghosts... Once you have done the Ghostly Robes Mini Quest you will have access to another Mini Quest - The Shadow Sword. I hope this guide has helped you, and good luck! If you liked this guide you might like another guide I made called ~Highimpact1's Guide to Fletching~. I appreciate everyone's comments! :P
  17. ~Fixed Thanks for that, didn't catch that! :)
  18. Well you pretty much summed it up for me! Run4runes, Im glad you've hit your goal! :P Now time for 85! 8-)
  19. I hate to make another double post, but if any moderators could respond to my messages, or in any could even post on here to keep me updated? So far no moderator has responded yet. :|
  20. Well I was just thinking about the new quest, and glancing over the January Behind the Scenes Article (To see if I could pick up anything that could help me prepare for it 8-) ) and I thought "Hey! Maybe this is another hunting quest!" Seriously though, think about it. Hunting seems like it's a bit unfinished, and maybe they are going to try to tie it in with a few skills? This quest certainly seems like it's going to incorperate a good amount of skills (Although they do dramitize sometimes.) Take for instance "building secret bird hides", maybe crafting? For some reason I always incorperate Penguins with fish (It is there main source of food) so maybe fish (fishing skill) to lure them or something? They said it will give a agility course as a reward so agility too. Also the last hunting quest started in the zoo, maybe that's an indicator that this is a hunting quest too? It's just a thought, but maybe it's going to be a hunter's unexpected suprise?
  21. I have heard many good things about using Manage Thy Kingdom, and that's why I mentioned that that is one way you could collect some resources but... I really don't have just about any personal experience in using that (Yes, I have done the quests, but I just haven't tried it.) so I don't feel very comfortable putting it in the guide =\. Acually, you would be very suprised. For example, today I walked into seer's bank and I saw at least 3 people who were stringing there! Also a lot of people string very slowely just because they don't know any better techniques. And most people also don't calculate the great amount of xp & money gain you can get my fletching yew bows/alching from buying all seperate ingredients.
  22. Thanks for the compliments, and here are my comments about my prices. ~On the Bs the prices can change daily. One day you will see them at the lowest price going for 160-170, on other days the prices will be going from 150-170. ~For the yews, I have never bought them over 240 each. Although you can much easier buy them in the 250-300 range, it is very possible to buy them for even 230-240. I have explained most of this throughout my guide. ~And finally, about the yew longbows. This is what I have said in my guide "Yew longbows (s)- 525-575gp <--(Might not be entirely accurate)". I may point out the (Might not be entirely accurate) in there, but you did suggest they are usually 540-550. Again the prices can be slightly erratic, but what I have posted covers the prices a bit more than the ones you have suggested.* ~-----~ Finally, I would like to say that this may be a guide, but the prices are purely guidelines. You should take the information gained from this guide, and adopt your own way, experment a little! Also I may point out that prices do change, and they can change pretty quickly. *I am working on however, a new update that will clarify the prices a little bit better, and I appreciate your help in pointing those things out. And remember everyone, if you post, I will try to reply to your post personally! :P And Warned, It does feel good to be the minority :) .
  23. +1 Maybe you could add that some general stores have huge masses of willows for 13 gp (i think) each because autoers usually sell there. I'm not sure if this is in member worlds, but this would save a lot of money if you buy your way there since it'd only be around 5 gp each willow log (if you sell back for 8 after you fletch it). But I could be wrong on the numbers... Thank you all for the compliments, and good luck with your fletching! :) As for the general store buying-fletching-selling technique, thanks for the tip. You are the second person to have mentioned it, and I have decided to add that in on my next update. :P
  24. He doesn't respawn. You can only kill him once. Anyways nice guide, this was a very prompt & detailed guide over this very new area. 9/10! :P
  25. 0/10 never seen you before :| (I usually don't browse forum games though.)
